Also, to help you understand WHY and HOW the Passover being celebrated today is different from that given to Moses in the instructions by God in Exodus Chapter 12. HOW did the changes come about and WHY? You will have a deeper understanding and love for your LORD after this study!

To the Christian it is most impressive, and it hardly can be less so to the Jew, to notice how very much Christianity and Judaism have in common. Christianity is NOT a religion which is altogether different from that of Judaism. Christianity is the direct outgrowth and development of Jewish life and history as recorded in the Tanakh, the Hebrew Scriptures (referred to by many as the Old Testament).
Jesus the Messiah, Yeshua HaMashiach, came not to bring a new religion, but to fulfill the promises made to the fathers: Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. He came to purchase eternal redemption with His precious blood for BOTH Jews and Gentiles. When the Christian sees that the Brit Chadasha (Hebrew New Testament) is the fulfillment of the Tanakh (Hebrew Scriptures) … and when he sees Yeshua as the Son of David … the One of whom Moses and the prophets did speak … he has a reason to have close kinship with Israel.
The PASSOVER FEAST reveals the entire plan of redemption designed by G-d for purchasing mankind that was separated from Him in the Garden of Eden.
Following are interesting facts concerning the Passover, from Dr. J. Hoffman Cohn’s booklet, A Passover Trilogy.
Only the PASSOVER in Egypt was observed exactly according to the instructions given in Exodus 12. The blood was never again put on the doors of the houses, and instead of being in great haste and ready for travel, the people now observe the Feast from sunset to midnight, with great leisure, profuse praise, and thanksgiving to God for the miraculous deliverance from slavery in Egypt.
When we come to New Testament times, we notice that very definite practices other than we read in Exodus 12 center around the PASSOVER FEAST. The TIME of its observance was fixed in accordance with the full moon after the first day of Spring. This was done so that the people had moonlight to travel by. However, in those days there were no almanacs or calendars giving the exact waxing and waning of the moon. The Sanhedrin, or governing body of the people had to be guided by the testimony of two witnesses.
These men were appointed to go to the highest mountaintop and there scan the sky for the first sign of the new moon. When the first sign appeared, they built bonfires on the top of the mountain. Then the people up and down the land of Judea passed on these signals by building bonfires from mountaintop to mountaintop until all the land was notified that the official witnesses had seen the first sign of the new moon.
Every Jew knew that he should count from that time of the bonfire signals a period of 10 days, and that on the 10th day he was to select the LAMB, and then there were four (4) more days to the actual time of killing the lamb. These four (4) additional days were ample time for each family to examine the LAMB minutely to see if there was any blemish. If such a blemish should be found, the LAMB was to be rejected and another one taken in its place. So it was that the Lord Jesus offered Himself, four (4) days before the PASSOVER, as the LAMB OF GOD that takes away the sin of the world.
It was not on a Sunday, however, but on Monday, the 10th of Nisan, when Messiah made what is now known as the as the triumphal entry into Jerusalem by the way of the “Sheep Gate.” It was at the very time the Jews were selecting the LAMBS for the coming PASSOVER. Yeshua challenged the nation: “Which of you convinces me of sin?” [John 8:46]
There was abundant opportunity to find fault, blemishes, or sin in the Messiah Jesus … four (4) days! However the final verdict came from the lips of Pilate when he cried out to the crowd, “I find no fault in this man!” [Luke 23:4] The Lord Jesus was the LAMB, without spot and without blemish. In Him all the Old Testament types were fulfilled.
Another interesting fact is: it was at sundown that the Lord Jesus observed the last PASSOVER with His disciples, although the official date was a day later. This may seem a contradiction but it isn’t. There were many devout Jews who were so faithful in their desire to serve God and obey His commandments that they often leaned over backwards – went to extremes – to make sure that they did not break “ONE JOT OR TITTLE” of the Law. These devout men were fearful, lest the witnesses might possibly have made a mistake by one day, and so cause the PASSOVER to begin a day over time.
It was therefore the practice, which was legally permitted, that such Jews could properly celebrate the opening night of the PASSOVER one-day ahead of the time officially set. However, they were NOT allowed to eat the PASSOVER LAMB until sunset of Passover evening, the actual time fixed by the Sanhedrin. To this very day the Jews observe two PASSOVER suppers (Seder).
So it was quite proper that our Lord and His disciples partook of the PASSOVER on the evening before, but there was NO LAMB. And how wonderfully divine was this plan, for on the NEXT DAY – the official day – the Lord Messiah Yeshua would offer Himself as the SPOTLESS LAMB slain from the foundation of the world … once for ALL TIME … to make atonement for the sins of the world.

NEW GLOBAL STRATEGY
The Art and Principles of Christian Warfare was written in Africa and in the Republic of Mauritius over a four month period by Prince Handley. It includes such topics as:

STRATAGEM AND TRICKS OF THE ENEMY
There are several strategies, tricks, and diversionary tactics of the enemy to halt, hinder, impede, nullify or destroy your ministry.
You must always be cognizant of this fact. There is a devil who has planned stratagem, and who has forces (spirits) of intelligence monitoring your plans, your progress, and your private relationships.
Do NOT be afraid. We will instruct you as to how to obtain and maintain the victory … continually!
However, you need to be aware of the various stratagem of the devil. My purpose in writing this is so that you will be able to recognize his various tricks. If you know ahead of time how he works, then you will be able to resist and FIGHT as a strong warrior.
It is important in warfare to KNOW your enemy … and to know HOW the tactical aspects of his warfare. Below are listed several methods of attack used by Satan. Some of his methods are:
- To get you to quit.
- To get you to cancel an engagement or speaking / teaching. Ways the enemy uses to get you to do this are as follows:
A. Someone near you [associate, team member, driver … or family member of the same … “hanger-on,” mixed multitude, etc.] is doubting, scoffing, heady [education versus the anointing] or high-minded.
B. Someone you’re teamed with is not being honest with you, or being “sneaky” and using you.
C. Other speakers of different doctrine scheduled in the same meetings with you.
D. Being hurt emotionally, spiritually, or physically. (See #5 below.)
- Diversionary tactics.
A. Having you meet an attractive member of the opposite sex (single or married).
B. Opportunity(s) to make lots of money, or “quick money.”
C. “Quick roads” to ministry success.
D. Fame: going for “your” name and NOT Jesus’ glory. (See #4 below.)
- Pride
A. People not treating you right, or, respectfully … and you may feel that you deserve better treatment (which you may).
B. Living a lifestyle for “show” or above your means.
CAUTION!
PRIDE IS A PSYCHOLOGICAL ATTEMPT TO HIDE OUR FAULTS
- Emotional disappointment(s), “broken heart,” or very rude action(s) on the part of others.
- Prolonged goal attainment or unaccomplished desire(s). Many times when we experience the “death of a vision” God brings resurrection; however, if a person is NOT persevering in faith, discouragement can set in.
- Death of a loved one.
- Lies, false accusations (or, true ones), or gossip.
- Not being used, included, or recognized. Being “shut out” by your peers or others, either purposefully or unknowingly.
- Another person, or people, being promoted or recognized and you know they are NOT worthy of the recognition.
- Sickness. You must claim and receive your healing. Go in faith unless the LORD tells you to stay.
- A combination of any of the above.
SUMMARY: Walk DAILY in faith, pray in the Spirit, stay in the Word, obey the LORD, and keep your heart in forgiveness with love.
- The Holy Spirit will always be leading you in the OPPOSITE direction of the devil.
- The Holy Angels are assigned from God to protect you.
- There are many promises in God’s Word to give you victory.
Do NOT be afraid. Fear immobilizes the Body of Christ. Remember the old saying: “Fear knocked at the door, faith answered, and no one was there!” Speak this scripture to yourself often, “For I have not received a spirit of fear, but of power, and love, and a sound mind (or, self control).” (2 Timothy 1:7)

This teaching will discuss present global trends including compromise and corruption in commerce and in churches. Several alarming trends – not noticeable because of lack of coverage in major media outlets – are fulfillments of Bible prophecy and indicators that we are in the early stage of the End Times. Many of these trends have “fixed” themselves already on the landscape of the New Global Governance.
Churches in many large cities are growing but in many of them the people are being “cheated” out of 67 percent of the POWER and TEACHING of Jesus the Messiah. This is spiritual corruption!
On one hand, governmental and commercial corruption is stealing the dollar value of the citizenry … with the populace (that’s YOU, the reader and listener) paying for the theft twice again through increased taxation and inflation. On the other hand, church and ministry corruption is stealing the health and freedom of God’s people … with God’s people (that’s YOU) paying for it in doctor and medical bills and lack of production.
In this podcast teaching I will teach you how to recognize, resist and recover the loss resulting from the idol of wealth and materialism as it affects and infects the church, government and society.

TRENDS
The Turkish Lira crashed to new lows last year. Then, a few months ago a huge scandal in Turkey broke out due to corruption among government ministers and their family members. This will result in destabilization in the area. Why do I mention this? The same thing is happening in countries all over the world, resulting in riots, distrust of government, bankers and politicians.
Europe, Asia, Middle East and soon the USA are headed towards more upheaval. WHY? Preparation for the anti-Christ, the “False messiah.” The coming world leader needs an economic and military crisis as a platform for him to walk onto and be chosen head of the New Global Government (part of the New World Order).
As I taught in the University of Excellence concerning “Global Equalization Will Be the Catalyst for New Global Banking,”there will be – and is now already largely in existence – the formation of a Global Elite Sector: a small group of people extremely wealthy and powerful who control political and economic sectors.
One-fourth of the world’s middle class economic echelon suffers from mental depression. But that is nothing compared to what will happen when they (and the other 75 percent) suffer from economic depression. One-fourth of the young people on Planet Earth are without employment and necessary education. They are mad and they have no trust … let alone hope … in the global or local power structures. Their drive is not going to be lessened in the future; to the contrary, it will be increased asymptotically. However, these are “minor quakes” in the events ushering in the Last Days.

The coming world dictator is alive today and already involved in governance.

Look for more riots!
Look for more economic upheaval!
Look for the stock market to head south!
Look for (If you live in USA) the FED to keep pumping air into the economy by Quanitative Easing (QE), the printing of currency to increase money supply and pay government bills. What does this do? Makes your money worth less (like in, “worthless”) because of simple supply and demand. As your money loses value, prices go UP^. That’s why if the stock market goes up it does NOT necessarily mean your making money. Study my teaching on the New Global Currency.
TEMPLES
Today we see many large churches. Does this mean the sheep are being fed, or does it mean they are being fed but NOT nutritious food. Lots of restaurants cater to large crowds but does that mean the food is nutritious? Large churches (mega churches) are NOT necessarily a sign of productive ministry in the eyes of the LORD.
To be a productive church the shepherd leader must attempt to form and lead a POWER church: a real New Testament church. Programs and cell groups mean nothing if people are not being instructed in the ministry precepts of Jesus. WHAT are those precepts? Let’s look at what Jesus instructed His followers to do:
1. Preach and teach;
2. Heal the sick; and,
3. Cast out demons.
Also, let’s look at the Great Commission: ” … teaching them to observe ALL things whatsoever I have commanded you …” (Matthew 28:20)
Pastors that do NOT minister healing and the Baptism in the Holy Spirit are cheating their flock out of 67 percent of the ministry of Jesus. They are omitting 2 out of 3 parts of Jesus’ ministry. They preach and teach but they are NOT serving healing or deliverance – #2 and #3 shown above – to their people. This is corruption. It is stealing … it is cheating God’s people AND the people who could be saved by witnessing the healing and miracle power of God.
Why do they do this? Usually because they do NOT believe in healing. Or, they will tell you, “I believe Jesus can heal,” or, “We have had people healed;” However, the TRUTH may be that they do NOT know HOW to minister healing so they dismiss it. That is, they either do NOT believe Jesus will heal, or they do NOT have the faith to pray or believe for healing. The same applies to MIRACLES … real miracles! The truth is: to minister healing and deliverance they need the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.
Healing ministry should be a part of all church worship services, or at least one service a week designated for healing. But what about people who are sick, diseased, bound, or afflicted who come to ANY service in need of healing, deliverance, or prayer? The same applies to the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and instruction concerning it.
Let me ask you some questions:
-
When – or how often – does your church pray for sick people by laying hands on them?How often are people anointed with oil (either in the church or in their homes)?
-
When – or how often – are people being sent out (commissioned / ordained) to the ministry with the laying on of hands?
-
When – or how often – are people baptized in the Holy Spirit (and speak in tongues) for the first time in your church or ministry?
-
When – or how often – do MIRACLES happen in your church? (Or, when was the last time you saw a REAL MIRACLE in your church?)
A person said to me the other day, “Healing is for salvation: to bring people to Christ.” I answered them, “Healing is part of salvation. So is the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, deliverance, prosperity, ministry, and Kingdom responsibility.” Healing is for the sick to be healed. One miracle healing can do more than 25 years of preaching. If you are a shepherd leader, let me challenge you to include ALL of salvation in your ministry. And … train your people to do the same. Then, the church will be the church!
I have attended churches where healings, miracles, baptism in the Spirit, deliverance, and great teaching were always present. I taught at a graduate theological seminary where at one Thursday morning prayer meeting so many miracles happened that 77 people were baptized in water.
I saw a lady in church so devastated with cancer get up out of her wheel chair healed. Her slip (her under garment) fell off because she was so skinny from losing weight due to the cancer.
I saw a man with his head locked into his wheel chair because part of his spinal column was severed. His nurse took him to church. He got up out of his wheel chair completely healed and walked after the nurse unlocked his head. These are only a couple of the MANY healings and miracles I could write about.
I have seen blind eyes opened, deaf ears unstopped, people walking out of wheel chairs, demons cast out: all part of the normal Christian church ministry. At a seminar where I was teaching on healing there was a man who had been in a wheel chair nine years due to five breaks in his spine from a large truck hitting his auto PLUS he had muscular dystrophy. He walked out of his wheel chair during Holy Communion. Two years later he gave his testimony at a large Presbyterian church and hundreds of people fell out of their pews under the Power of God, overcome by the Holy Spirit.
I was teaching in Houston, USA, where there were three barren women present. I laid hands on them and prayed for them in Jesus’ name. All of them conceived in 30 days. There are NOT many good teachers any more. WHY? Because only PART of salvation is taught. It has been my experience that wherever the WHOLENESS of Christ is preached, the teaching will be dynamic, edifying, prophetic, and gift accompanied.
Look at the New Testament Church in the Book of Acts. Look at your church. If you are the shepherd leader, you can at least do your part: preach and teach WHAT Jesus told you to; and minister the WHOLENESS of Christ. At least do your part and try! WARNING: You may have to pay the price of being ostracized, persecuted and maligned by people and the devil. However, you will be BLESSED by the LORD.
RECOGNIZE
Pray for your shepherd leader. God will speak to them because of your prayers; however, they may disobey. Why would they disobey? Several reasons: 1. Comfortable in the way they are leading; 2. Afraid to change; 3. Ashamed or embarrassed to say they believe the Gifts of the Holy Spirit still operate today; 4. Not willing to take a stand with Jesus’ full ministry; 5. Peer pressure; 6. Control by church board or body; 7. Pride.
Sometimes change may not happen. You will need to be honest enough with yourself to recognize this. If this is the case, then you have to make a decision to resist the damaging effects of religious bondage upon you and your loved ones now and in the future. If you are a parent with older children, you may think, “My children have friends at church or in their youth group. I don’t think we should leave.” You will have to seriously pray about your decision!
RESIST
You will have to resist spiritual lethargy – for your own spiritual health and wellbeing – and make a decision to be available to receive the fullness of Jesus’ ministry. By being available, I mean have access to ministry that does NOT steal from you. You have enough corruption in government and commerce … you don’t need it coming from the church in your spiritual life. There are several options:
-
Find another church;
-
Meet with other like-minded believers;
-
Start your own church or Bible Study and prayer meetings.
-
Have family Bible study or prayer times where you invite Jesus.
-
Periodically travel to an anointed worship and MIRACLE service.
I would rather be alone with Jesus and His MIRACLE working power and love than to be in a crowd of unbelief.
RECOVER
As you continue into the sector of the End Times, you will see the trends of corruption that will increase in government and commerce, builidng an underpinning for the appearance of the anti-Christ. Remember, he will not only be against Christ but a false Christ. On the other hand, corruption in the temple – the Church – will cause many to be powerless, cheating them out of the FULL ministry of Jesus, the Messiah.
To recognize, resist and recover loss from both inflationary thievery implemented by government … and … corruption and thievery in the church – stealing two-thirds of Jesus’ ministry from YOU – you NEED the Gifts of the Holy Spirit to give you POWER, LEADING, WISDOM and DISCERNMENT in our financial and spiritual matters.

What is God asking you to do?
In 1976 the LORD told me to go to Rhodesia, which is now Zimbabwe, and preach the Good News with signs following. This, of course, included training people as Jesus commanded us in the Great Commission: instructing believers about the Baptism in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. Many MIRACLES happened.
I believe lots of bloodshed was avoided as a result of my ministry there as it preceded the nationalization of the country. A white minority government used to control the country until 1979. Following a brutal guerrilla war fought with two rival African nationalist organizations (Robert Mugabe’s ZANU and Joshua Nkomo’s ZAPU). Rhodesian premier Ian Smith conceded to biracial democracy in 1978.
However, a provisional government subsequently headed by Smith and his moderate colleague Abel Muzorewa failed in appeasing international critics or halting the bloodshed. Finally, the Republic of Zimbabwe was established and has remained so since 1980. The economic condition of the country has suffered terribly under its recent socialist government, as will probably the USA under the economic policies since 2008 which could well result in hyperinflation or stagflation.
In Germany’s Weimar Republic, there was a three-year period of hyperinflation between June 1921 and January 1924 where the German mark went from 4.2 marks per U.S. dollar to 4.2 Billion marks to the dollar. This rampant inflation was one of the reasons Adolf Hitler and the Nazi party came to power in that country.
During my time in Rhodesia I was taken out into the rural areas where, at 1 to 2 AM in the dark night, I would see hordes of people marching silently, inspired by Communist leadership, preparing for socialist revolt and overthrow of the ruling party. Economic conditions seemed unfair to the mass of the populace then … but nowhere in comparison to the terrible economic status of the country NOW and since 1979.
Zimbabwe is a more recent example of inflation run wild. At its peak in November 2008, inflation was running at 6.5 sextillion percent. Zimbabwe still has no national currency; currencies from other countries are used. The economy is wrecked under socialist Mugabe but God can break the curse of civil war. Mugabe’s death may bring it (he is 90). The young people I trained in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) can be God’s agents to bring an anointing from The Breaker to bring the country forward. “With men it is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” PRAY for Zimbabwe!
While I was in Rhodesia I was invited to speak at several public schools with age brackets corresponding to high school in the USA. In every one of the schools where I ministered the gifts of the Holy Spirit operated and God performed MIRACLES. At the first school where I ministered I taught on “Jesus, the Healer.” At the end of my teaching, I started to pray for students … but nothing happened. I asked God, “What is wrong?”
The LORD spoke to me and said, “I don’t want you to pray for the students. I want you to teach them HOW to pray for each other. Because when you leave, they will just say, ‘It was a white man who came to pray for us.’” I did what God told me. I began having the students lay hands on each other and every one I know of who needed healing was healed. In every school I went to after that, I did the same thing. God would give me a Word of Knowledge about a condition in a student that I did NOT know (a condition in their body); I would call them out, and then have another student or students lay hands on them in Jesus’ name and they would always be healed. Many students received Christ as a result of witnessing the MIRACLES.
The saddest school where I went to minister was referred to as a “colored” school. The students were “mixed” from African and Caucasian backgrounds, with some from parents from India. You could feel the heaviness in the spirit of the students. They were persecuted by both blacks and by whites. But, praise God, after the Lord Jesus visited them they did NOT have that problem. The spirit of heaviness was broken and they experienced the JOY of the LORD!
One day while at lunch I overheard a man’s name mentioned in a conversation. He was the head over ALL media in Rhodesia. His name was Val Lunn. The next day, the LORD told me to go see that man. I did NOT know where he was, nor how to find him (I had merely heard his name mentioned). I knew that he was head of Rhodesian Broadcasting Corporation so I found out the address of that office. I did not have access to an automobile and there was no transportation available in the area where I was staying (it was a very exclusive area).
I started walking in faith. I was used to this as previously I had lived on the streets, preaching the Gospel, and used my feet to get me places for years. After walking a short distance, I heard an automobile stop beside me. A lady was driving, and she said in a very commanding voice: “Get in, sit down!” (I later asked God if he had any angels that looked like a lady!) She asked me where I was going. I told her the address but that I did NOT know HOW to get there. She drove me to the head office of Rhodesian Broadcasting Corporation.
When I arrived at RBC I told the receptionist that I wanted to talk to Mr. Val Lunn. She responded by telling me that he alternated offices, flying between Bulawayo and Salisbury, the capital (after 1982 it was named Harare), every other day. She said that Mr. Lunn would be back in Bulawayo where I was staying the next day. I left a note for him saying, “I am from California, USA, and the LORD told me to come see you.”
The next day I received a phone call from Mr. Lunn inviting me to come talk with him. I went to his office and shared with him the Good News of Jesus Christ. He told me he wanted to be saved and prayed with me, receiving Christ as His Lord. Then, I laid hands on him and he received the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and started speaking in tongues. While he was speaking in tongues, he had his eyes closed and I left his office and walked away. He did not know I had left.
A few days later Mr. Lunn called me and asked me to come to his home and baptize him in his swimming pool. He also requested that I lead his house servant to Christ, both of which I did. After being baptized, Mr. Lunn told me this: he said, “I want Christ to use me in the media.” Since he was head of ALL media in Rhodesia, including radio and television, I recognized it as a great open door for the nation to hear about Jesus.
When I returned to the United States I notified the top three Christian television ministries that Val Lunn wanted Christian videos and programming sent to him to air on TV. (Pat Robertson of CBN called me to ask about what God had done in Rhodesia while I was there.) None of the top 3 Christian TV ministries ever responded to Val Lunn’s request for video teaching. I even re-contacted one or two of them, but no response. I asked God, “Why don’t these ministries want to help?”
Then I realized, “God does NOT have to tell me ‘WHY.’” But I soon found out “WHY.” While I had been in Rhodesia I was holding a teaching seminar with several young black nationals. These young people were brilliant (two of them were bankers and drew European wages) but they had NO money. We met for the teaching sessions in an underground basement (there was NO floor above ground). There were buckets on the floor to catch rain water from ground level above. Every session that I taught I was impressed by the Holy Spirit to teach them, “Do NOT trust the God of the United States for your finances; trust the God of Elijah.” And, I taught a lot about the life of Elijah.
After I had been back in the USA for a few weeks I received a letter from the people I had been teaching in the underground seminar. They said, “We just made our first five (5) television shows!” Then I realized: “That’s WHY God did NOT want the top 3 TV ministries in the USA to send any programming to Rhodesia.”It was the time of nationalization. God wanted ALL BLACK programming. I had never connected these young people with Val Lunn … and I do NOT know whether he had sought them out … but GOD DID IT.
Even though there was a lot of bloodshed in the few years following, I believe lots of bloodshed was avoided as a result of my ministry in Rhodesia as it preceded the nationalization of the country, as many received the Good News on TV during this troublesome time.
By God’s grace we published and distributed thousands of Wordless Books in Zimbabwe. We supplied thousands to one missionary who baptized over 2,000 people and started over 800 churches there.
What is God telling YOU to do???
Remember, GOD DOES NOT HAVE TO TELL YOU WHY. Just obey Him!

RELATIONSHIP OF THE UNCERTAINTY PRINCIPLE TO CHAOS THEORY
IN END TIMES SCENARIO

Several books have been written in recent years dealing with End Time scenarios and chronology especially with regard to Israel, the Tribulation Period and Armageddon. However, none of these have dealt with the two most basic principles of geopolitical upheaval:
The Uncertainty Principle; and,
Chaos Theory.
As a preface to this treatise, may I direct you to The Art of Christian Warfare series located in the online study forum at The University of Excellence. My reason for doing so is twofold:

Your first line of defense should be spiritual warfare; and,
-
What good is it to know – or think you know – about eschatological (end time) warfare if you are not prepared for warfare in the present. Also, if you just “happen” to be positioned in the segue to tribulation time(s), you will … above all else … need to know all you can about spiritual warfare.
The Uncertainty Principle
The Uncertainty Principle is basic to every day life. Having learned such is your first doorway to maximum (natural) achievement in any long term endeavor. You might want to study my two publications dealing with the Principle of Uncertainty as it relates to the following:

CHINA has much to gain from the demise of the US … and the US dollar, as opposed to India, who only wants positioning on the NEW Global Currency as part of world economic leadership. However, China has plans in place for the downfall of the USA in international psychology, or game theory – similar to inter-corporate group dynamics – and based upon the Nash Equilibrium.
Prince Handley believes that China will at some point in the next 5 to 7 years assume an already SECRETLY SCHEDULED strategy – replacing its “seeming” position as regards its “partners of probability” in the Nash Equilibrium scenarios – of The Kuebler-Ross Model of Change, and use SHOCK to their advantage in order to argue for ACCEPTANCE in the 10 region New Global Governance along with Islam … to the rejection of its diplomatic ties with not only its other competitors, but mainly its diplomatic friend: Israel.
[ 2 ] Faith, Quantum Physics and Your Future
One reason you need to see the future – and to understand the influence of uncertainty – is so you can effectively profit from:
The past and present:
The nature of reality; and,
The operation of faith.
The Past
You may march off to the woods or go to war without having a knowledge of history, or as one who suffers from amnesia, but you can perform neither effectively nor optimally.
The Present
To advance into the Future, you must occupy a position in the present.
The Future
If you don’t relate to the future, you can NOT minimize latency with the past and the present; therefore, you do not interact with optimal information for decision making and action.
As stated above, to advance into the future you must have a quantized / momentary position in the present (you need a position from which to advance); And, for logistical purposes you require:
Knowledge;
Material;
Experience; and,
Networks.
All of the above are derived from the past … even though you are operating in the momentary, quantized, present, The “present” will be the past location when you advance.
For all practical purposes, we (as a Global Society) can forget about climate change and long term environmental mandates. These will prove to be miniscule efforts and will have microscopic results in relation to what is set to happen. These expenditures of time, labor and money would be much better spent on providing: 1. Relief efforts to famine stricken areas; and, 2. Water wells to areas who have no or minimal clean water resources. We learn from The Revelation that in the future the following three life critical emements are going to be toxically contaminated to the extent of harmful effects on the human race:
Soil,
Air,
Water.
I suggest you refer to Revelation and End Times: A Flow Chart of End Time Happenings.
The influence of uncertainty is NOT even on the agenda of most prophecy writers – or readers. What IF all the money received from books, TV, DVD’s and seminars dealing with prophecy and end times were redirected towards future strategies dealing with the influence of uncertainty in the end times. Let me give you just two examples:

What about the other believing Jews around the world (in the Time of Jacob’s Trouble … the Great Tribulation) who do NOT make it to the place prepared in the wilderness (maybe Petra?) where the believing Jews flee from the pseudo messiah? (See Brit Chadashah: Revelation 12:13-17.)

What about creating mass media advertising about Mashiach, the End Times, and the “pseudo mashiach” to prepare Jews and others for what we know is really going to happen in the End Time. A marketing blitz that will NOT be forgotten; one that will cause people to think and remember – and be aware – of WHAT is really happening WHEN it happens!
Chaos Theory
The Uncertainty Principle prohibits accuracy. The evolution of a complex system can therefore NOT be accurately predicted … except by skeletal “waymarks” such as in Bible prophecy.
The two main components of chaos theory are the ideas that systems – no matter how complex they may be – rely upon an underlying order, and that very simple or small systems and events can cause very complex behaviors or events. This latter idea is known as sensitive dependence on initial conditions , a circumstance discovered by Edward Lorenz (who is generally credited as the first experimenter in the area of chaos) in the early 1960s.
However, Chaos Theory allows for GREAT departure – and at the same time – possible overlapping or “nearly repetitive cycles” of the initial conditions. For example, the “Seal, Trumpet and Bowl” judgments in the Book of Revelation might NOT have to be only consecutive or segmentally chronological. They may overlap … they may coincide … they may be simultaneous after unfolding … and, they may have NO predictability … EXCEPT that we KNOW they will happen!
Summary
As good stewards of Messiah Yeshua, because of the influence of uncertainty and the complex behaviors inherent with chaos dynamics, we must prepare and publish a worldwide permanent body of knowledge structured upon Biblical Prophecy for the following:
Easily accessible and permanent information about Future Environmental Toxicity
(the Judgments of The Revelation) – WHAT to do (i.e., how to know Jesus); and,
Media preparation for Jews, Israel, and Gentiles – WHAT will happen and WHY!

CHALLENGE:
Will you be the one to create and implement an End Time MEDIA project to
inform Jews, Israel and Gentiles of WHAT will happen soon on Planet Earth?

We must also ramp up on spiritual warfare: both individually and corporately as members together in Messiah’s Body. Maintain “looking for His appearing,” but stop arguing with other believers about when or when not the “rapture” will happen. (It wasn’t a doctrine in the church until the 1800’s anyway.) Fellowship with other believers; focus on the KEY prophecies, and win people to Messiah Jesus!
Lots of people I talk to say they are going to WAIT until the Believers are missing, and then they will receive Jesus. We need to tell them WHAT is going to happen … and to get ready NOW … because a strong delusion is going to be sent upon the Planet Earth.
Make sure YOU are ready for whatever happens … whenever it happens: the Lord Jesus “catching you up” … or the judgments falling first. I have attended the BEST Christian conservative theological seminaries in the world; one, just to study eschatology (plus the University of Judaism). Also, I studied under four of the top Hebrew and Greek scholars who worked on the NASV. Our view of WHEN the Believers in Messiah will be caught up in the air to be with Him is something WE decide for ourself … but WHEN He actually does this may be different. Our job is to watch for His Appearing!
Many evangelical Bible teachers changed their view in the last 20 years?! My view of WHEN the Lord will “catch away” His People will NOT change WHEN He does it. I’m just going to keep looking for … and loving … His return!
Here’s something to think about: If we get mad at other Believers about their view of the “rapture” … OR … if WE don’t or can’t fellowship with other believers because of their view of the “rapture” … guess who needs help!

THE ROLE OF APOSTOLIC MINISTRY TODAY
INTRO / MUSIC
There are several TYPES of evangelical churches today, but they can be classified usually into one or more of three (3) groups:
INTERPRETIVE – These churches believe that Jesus is Lord.
DEDUCTIVE – Based on inference of scripture, these churches are further divided into sub-groups. For example, those who believe in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues, operation of the gifts of the Spirit . . . and those who do not.
CULTURAL – These churches appeal to the styles and movements of the current day and may be further divided into two (2) groups: traditional and seeker sensitive.
Apostle Handley’s book on Militant Church History (written in 1973) is right on track today and lists the seven (7) stages of church history: past and prophetic. Just a cursory review of recent decades, however, shows something as to the movement of the Holy Spirit (with some aberrations of men).
In the late 1960s and into the 1970s, we had the “hippy” movement.
In the 1980s we had the coming of age of the burgeoning “baby boomers.”
In the 1990s we had the “Me” (the selfish) generation, with examples such as “Seinfeld.”
Today, we are in the infant stages of the “rupture” of society … and at the same time, the infant stages of the apostolic church. By the “rupture” of society I am talking about the appearance of militant Islamic fundamentalism.
MUSIC
We hear lots of commentary by news media outlets saying that Islam is the fastest growing religion in the world. This is NOT correct. Christianity is the fastest growing religion in the world.
Demographics and surveys are drawn from largely the traditional and denominational churches. The statistics do NOT account for the fact that much of exploding church growth occurs in the non-traditonal, non-mainline, non-denominational churches: much in house churches and the underground church … SUCH AS IN CHINA!
However, there IS now a large growth of Islam. Why? Because people want to identify themselves with . . . to belong to or be part of . . . a culture.
It is TIME for a NEW CHURCH: one that is drawn by the Spirit to people and one to which people are drawn by the Spirit! The NEW church understands the current culture, the people and their styles. The following statistics are representative of this NEW church:
- 43% of the people were born between 1927 and 1945
- 37% of the people were born between 1946 and 1964
- 16% of the people were born between 1965 and 1983
- 4% of the people were born between 1984 and 2006
We must reach this youngest group! If you haven’t already studied about this, go to www.realmiracles.com and in the upper right of any page “Search” for “The Greatest Outreach.” Also, go to the Archives of The Apostles Group and search for: “Trends, Times, and Tongues.” [August 28, 2004]
The NEW APOSTOLIC church will reach people in their styles and cultures with anointed music. People will join a church when they SEE people EXCITED about their faith. Acts 15:15-18 tells us:
“This agrees with the words of the prophets. As it is written, ‘After these things I will return. I will again build the tent (tabernacle) of David, which has fallen. I will again build its ruins. I will set it up, That the rest of men may seek after the Lord; All the Gentiles who are called by my name, Says the Lord, who does all these things. All his works are known to God from eternity.”
This scripture is referring to Amos 9:11 foretelling the rebuilding of the dynasty of David through Messiah who would come. However, it has a multiple fulfillment, also, in the building of the Kingdom of God (even before the 1,000 year Messianic Kingdom on earth) by the organic spiritual growth of the resurrected Messiah’s Body. The Messianic synagogues and churches today who operate in the apostolic and prophetic functions … and who abound with the high praises of God … are creating NEW birthings of the Spirit and forging alliances of ministry purposes: Individual birthings of the Spirit through repentance and believing the Good News … and corporate birthings of NEW synagogues and churches, whether they meet in offices, buildings, houses, the desert, or forests.
What was the Tabernacle of David like? It was NOT like Solomon’s Temple, with all its wealth and gold. The Tabernacle of David was a “make-shift” tent where the praises of God resounded. Even King David, when he was returning with the Ark of the Covenant was dancing and praising God publicly (and almost nude)!
MUSIC
The NEW APOSTOLIC church will have prophetic dancers: even incorporating new cultural themes in music.
The NEW APOSTOLIC church will have a NEW BREED who will want to join and participate in MIRACLES: people who want to be instruments through whom the Holy Spirit will flow to bring healing to sinful, bruised humanity. A brother in my area recently took a campus survey at one of California’s major universities. In that survey the students were asked the question: “What will it take to get you into church?” The majorityof the university students being surveyed answered: “We want to SEE God’s miracles and the supernatural.”
Have you ever noticed that the churches and people who say “wanting to see miracles” is wrong are the ones who are NOT experiencing MIRACLES? Jesus never blasted people for wanting to see or experience MIRACLES. He blasted them because they just wanted to take part in eating the bread that was multiplied.
Yeshua answered them, “Most certainly I tell you, you seek me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate of the loaves, and were filled.” [John 6:26]
During 1950-1960 several great healing ministries were raised up by God. Many people were saved as a result. Then in the period from 1960 to 1970 there was great emphasis on pastoring to care for the thousands of new converts. Then, from 1980 to 1990 there was great emphasis on teaching. Around 1990 many new prophetic ministries were raised up, along with praise and worship. Now, we are in the INFANT STAGES of the NEW APOSTOLIC CHURCH.
MUSIC
The PROPHETIC brings things to pass in the Spirit. It opens up new vistas and causes them to happen.
The APOSTOLIC takes the different forms of ministry and unites them into a harmonious unit.
The APOSTLE recognizes that the fivefold ministries are NOT ministries necessarily of accuracy, but rather of function to bring about a cohesive objective: the formation of the Tabernacle of David and the growth and dominion of the Kingdom of God. The apostle of the NEW CHURCH should probably have experience in all functions: not just the apostolic, but also as prophet, evangelist, pastor, and teacher.
It was not too long ago, before the fall of Communism, that Albania was known as the hardest Communist country. Just to mention the name “God” would result in a jail or prison sentence. There was a Muslim man who was about to die of radiation contact. A Christian brother told him about Jesus and His healing power, then laid hands on him and prayed for him. The man went to the hospital to be checked again and they found he was completely healed.
The doctor asked him, “How did this happen?” The man said, “A man told me about Jesus, and that He could heal me; the man laid his hands on me and prayed for me in Jesus’ name . . . and I am healed!” Then the doctor, in simple belief and scientific query, asked the man who had been healed: “Would that happen to the other people here in this hospital?” The man something like, “I think so.” So, the doctor asked him to go around and pray for the people in Jesus’ name and lay hands on them. The hospital was emptied.
About that time, there was a NEW BREED of young people who simply believed God and went to the hospitals praying for the sick in Jesus’ name. Hospitals were actually closed down because of the number of people who were healed.
The NEW BREED is waiting for you . . . and for the NEW APOSTOLIC CHURCH!

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED: 5 SECRETS OF MILITARY STRATEGY

The other day I was reading some ministry results of a wonderful brother in Messiah. My first thought was, “God is using him so mightily . . . he is reaching so many people for Messiah!” And . . . he has NO synagogue or church support.
Like most of us in God’s work, he was one of the most unlikely prospects for God to use. Like you, and like me, people never guessed he would one day become a believer in Yeshua! When I reflected upon how God is using him, I thought, “What a great reward he will have in Heaven!”
I thought, “God, he is doing so much for You.” After a while the Lord prompted me, and The Holy Spirit reminded me that I was blessed to have part in his Christian growth; and to help disciple him to become a powerful follower of Yeshua. He took our Free Bible Studies course and we corresponded and communicated at times.
That is exactly what I shared in The Apostles Newsletter a few weeks ago: the disciples you teach should be used more greatly than you are. They should be disciples of MESSIAH and NOT disciples of men … IF you are doing your job right.
At the University of Excellence, of which I am President and Regent, we study five (5) secrets of military strategy for the accomplishment … and the continuance … of successful mission:
• Vision to reach the world for Messiah.
• Logistics and starting new synagogues and churches.
• Anointing of multiplication.
• Mission parameters.
• Resurrection and a new vision
VISION TO REACH THE WORLD FOR CHRIST
I want to teach you something that will help you win the world for Christ!
If you could win 1,000 people to Messiah every day, how long do you think it would take to evangelize the whole world? At this time, the population of the world is about six (6) billion people. It would take you 16,427 years to reach every person (even at 1,000 every day!).
However, if you would lead only one person each year to Christ, and would really train them, here’s what would happen:
At the end of one year there would be two of you to take the “Good News” to others. If each of you would lead one person to Christ that next year, there would be four of you at the end of the second year to go tell the “Good News”. At this rate, it would only take you a little over 32 years to reach the rest of the world! (Even if the population increases to 8.5 billion, it would take only one extra year, or 33 years.)
This is why Jesus said, “Go, then to all peoples of the world and make them my disciples: baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember! I will be with you always, to the end of the age.”
Now, here’s how to train a disciple: Ask God to lead you to someone who really wants to grow in the Lord (it may be someone you lead to Christ or someone who already knows Jesus.) Take them “under your wing” (like a bird does her babies) and pour your life, as well as the Word of God, into them.
You will have to “live” the life you are teaching about. Take them preaching on the streets or witnessing at the market with you. Teach them how to lead others to Christ, and to baptize them in water. Their training may last from one week, or until Jesus comes back!
Sometimes you may want to train more than one person at a time. However, never get so busy that you do not have time to spend with each person privately. When a person you are training starts training others for Christ (it may be the first week), then spend some time for “feedback”. That is, let that person discuss with you about the people they are training: get “feedback” about progress or problems, and try to answer their questions. Pray with them!
Be sure to tell the people you are teaching that Jesus said, “The field is the world!” Not just their village or city: but every nation, tribe, tongue, and dialect. Pray that God will send out workers to the nations … and be willing to go yourself. Teach them to do the same.
Obtain a map of the world (and of your country). Lay your hands on the different countries and cities and pray for them. Ask God:
To pour out the Holy Spirit on them;
To send out Christian workers to them; and,
To raise up “Spirit-filled” churches in them and all over the world.
While praying for cities and nations, always “bind” the devil and his demons and cast them out in Jesus’ name. Then, “loose” the Holy Spirit into the cities and nations! Jesus said, “Teach them to obey everything I have commanded you.” This includes his teaching about love, repentance, healing, forgiveness, casting out demons, prayer, baptism in the Holy Spirit, and our “one-ness” with other believers in Jesus.
Some of the people you train may be from other countries (students or visitors). Or, some of those you train may someday go to other countries to study, tour, or work. They will then be able to preach the Gospel there. This is another way you will be reaching nations!
Finally, teach the ones you are training to teach the people they teach “to teach others.” (Notice the four groups, or “families,” of disciples in 2 Timothy 2:2.) The first family is YOU: you are a disciple, or a “follower,” of Christ. The next family is the person you are teaching to be a “follower” of Christ. Notice something very important: the four families are NOT your disciples, they are Christ’s!
Read this message again, and again, and again. There are “seven keys” to help YOU win the world for Christ!
LOGISTICS AND STARTING NEW SYNAGOGUES AND CHURCHES
The provision and supply necessary for ongoing ministry growth will come about as new synagogues and churches are raised up. After the process of true biblical discipleship – making disciples of Messiah and NOT of men – is established, along with a vision of reaching the world for Messiah, the next step is to establish synagogues or churches. The people, the money, the resources for current and subsequent ministry to the community and the world will emanate from the local synagogues or churches established. Tithes and offerings will help in material and financial support. Each leader must be honest and ethical in their allocation of resources, and thereby be an example for those to whom they serve.
There are basically three (3) ways to start synagogues and churches:
1. Start cell groups, OR house churches;
2. Visit neighborhoods;
3. Hold public miracle and healing meetings.
START CELL GROUPS
Start cell groups, or home Bible studies, from an existing church. They will then be centers in each neighborhood or community for people to come for Bible study and prayer, and from which new churches can be raised up.
VISIT NEIGHBORHOODS AND BARRIOS
Visit the surrounding neighborhood. This is the probably the most effective and can also be used in conjunction with a cell group. Get people interested in the vision God has given you. Meet together for prayer, fellowship, and Bible study.
Win souls in the neighborhood or local community where you will have your synagogue or church – START there first! Visit and pray for the sick. Baptize converts and then TRAIN them:
• To win others.
• To study the Scriptures.
• To fast and pray.
• To tithe and give offerings.
• To follow the principles described above in “Vision To reach the World for Christ.”
Impart a vision of the world. Teach them to enjoy Messiah Jesus and their work with Him!!!
Pray daily for God to:
• Open the hearts of people;
• Pour out His Spirit upon the area where you are (or will be)working for Him; and,
• Lead you to people who are seeking for God and His salvation.
Look for needs to meet:
• In people;
• In the community; and,
• In the government.
Go door-to-door within a reasonable distance of the synagogue or church you’re starting and ask people if there is anything for which they would like you to pray. Tell them you’re meeting in about an hour at a certain location (give them the address). Go back in a week and follow up on them. Note: they may also have sick people in the house that they want you to pray for.
Tell people: “If you can find 10 other families who want to start a church, then organize a meeting in your home (or one of their homes) and invite these other 10 families. I will then come and tell them about the church we’re starting. At the same time, we will minister to the people’s needs, if they desire. Expect miracles!”
WARNING:
Never go to be a new head rabbi at a synagogue or pastor a church that someone else started unless the people at large give you complete control before you start. You will just be taking over someone else’s problems! Also, when miracles start the previous leaders will become jealous. Start NEW WORKS where the anointing is honored and God can get the glory!!
TESTIMONY:
Here’s a testimony from a Pastor and General Overseer who followed the instruction described above for starting new churches. “The lessons and the questions are the best I have had in my life, especially since I started preaching the Gospel under the power of the Holy Spirit. Please help me to learn more and be a better worker for the Lord. With the lesson well studied, God has started blessing the work here. Prayer cells have sprung up in all places. God is adding souls to His kingdom.” [Bishop Harrison]
Do diligence to follow the steps in this lesson like Bishop Harrison and God will do MIRACLES for you!
HOLD PUBLIC MIRACLE AND HEALING MEETINGS
There is probably no more effective way to start a new synagogue or church, especially in unevangelized areas, than by means of public meetings: both indoors and outdoors. Here is a proven and successful format for holding such meetings:
1. Start each meeting with 30 minutes of singing and “selected” testimony.
2. Preach 20 to 40 minutes.
3. Begin message by announcing: “We are going to pray in a few minutes and God is going to heal the sick.”
4. During the message, tell the people WHO Jesus is and WHAT He did. Tell them:
“I wouldn’t ask you to believe in a dead god! Jesus Christ is ALIVE!”
“Since Jesus is alive, He will do what He did when He lived on earth before!”
“If He does – and heals you – will you serve Him the rest of your life?”
(Before you pray) “If Jesus heals you, how many will come up and tell of it?”
5. After the message, pray for the sick to be healed. Do NOT go out into the crowd and do NOT pray for individuals at this time, but pray for the crowd “as a whole” from the place where you have been preaching. (Let God do His work!)
6. (During prayer) Tell the people, “Now, begin to praise God for healing you.”
7. (After prayer) Tell the people, “Now do what you couldn’t do before.”
8. Ask for those who have been healed to come and testify. Make sure you have workers who are trained to examine testimonies.
Eliminate those testimonies which aren’t for real or don’t glorify Christ. Train the workers to bring to the front at once ONLY miracles of healing. Also, make sure you have workers who are trained in crowd control.
Don’t let the devil bring confusion to your meeting at this point.
NOTES:
A) The first day of the meeting let God heal a few. Then go out to the neighborhood or villages and tell them what God has been doing; invite them into the meetings.
B) The second day of the meetings, and thereafter, pray for specific cases, such as the deaf and blind, as God leads. You may want certain cases to come to the platform for prayer (where you are ministering). This way the crowd can see the miracles. Do ONLY what the Spirit says and finish when He tells you to!
C) Always meet with your workers before the meeting. Review the previous days meeting and pray for the current one. Ask God for the anointing of the Holy Spirit and pray for unity.
D) Establish a synagogue or church from the new believers (baptize them). Make plans to teach them regularly and to train them.

ANOINTING OF MULTIPLICATION
Lay hands on and pray over EVERYTHING and EVERYONE you send out or produce: ministers and workers; DVD’s, literature; podcasts, social media postings (MySpace, Twittter, etc.), YouTube videos, films; mp3 files; websites, prayer cloths. Ask God to put His power on them. Ask God for the “apostolic power of Christ” to invade the earth through them. Pray for MIRACLES to magnify Christ.
Pray for people to be saved, healed, delivered, baptized in the Spirit, prospered, and sent out to do the work of Messiah Yeshua. Ask God to raise up a great Holy Spirit synagogue or church in every village and neighborhood of the earth … and a great Holy Spirit witness in every house, home, or family of the earth through the WORK and the PEOPLE you send out! Believe!!
Thirty (30) years ago I asked God for a confirmation about a piece of literature I had written and was to be sending out. It was Lesson Four, “How To Receive the Power of God” in the Free Bible Studies course. I wanted God to show me if I should include this lesson in the series and I received three (3) confirmations within about one week.
The very first person who received that lesson was baptized in the Holy Spirit the day they received it in the mail. Then a Jew wrote from New York and said, “You wouldn’t believe what came out of my mouth when Jesus baptized me in the Holy Spirit” (as a result of the lesson). Thirdly, another man wrote saying that as soon as he took his lesson out of the envelope he read one sentence and was knocked down by a strange force and another language came out of his mouth.
“Believe! All things are possible to him that believes.” [Mark 9:23]
If you are not available to lay hands on the materials – or the people – then commission others to do it. Lay your hands on them and pray over them so the apostolic power of Christ will flow through them. At times, when I have not been able to be present for an ordination service in a distant place, God would instruct me to send a prayer cloth over which I had prayed, and to have the prayer cloth laid on the minister.
If the Holy Spirit can supply the resurrection power of Christ to heal in this manner (Acts 19:11-12), then He surely can impart the gifts of the Spirit and enablement for ministry in the same manner. These should be “special” cases, however, because the normal Scriptural pattern would be to personally lay hands on those being ordained and sent out.
Ask God for ‘an anointing of multiplication’! The kingdom of Heaven is like leaven (or, yeast): it grows and spreads. Yeshua (Jesus) still multiplies bread, and He can multiply the work, the workers, and the Word of God!
MISSION PARAMETERS
Be led by the Spirit of God! Follow the plain teachings of Jesus. Preach and teach the simple Gospel, apart from which there is no other gospel [1 Corinthians 15:1-5]. Obey the commission of Jesus in Matthew 28 and Mark 16. Adhere to the “Apostles’ Creed”. Use the pastoral writings of Paul and Peter and John as examples for church order and discipline and obey the Word of God as revealed in the Holy Bible.
A three-fold cord is not easily broken. Buildings designed in triangulation or with three-sided segments are stronger. Jesus sent out his apostles to:
1. Preach and teach;
2. Heal; and
3. Cast out demons.
Whether you are involved in ministry to governments, to the homeless, to the military … on television or the Internet … keep your ministry “triangulated” in balance with Jesus’ authority that he gave you: to preach; to heal; and, to cast out demons!
Then you won’t have to worry about false doctrines . . . because no one can copy the works God is doing through you. The Lord will confirm the Word of God you preach with signs following . . .and people who are really seeking God will come to the TRUTH! The cults have all have at least one of the three errors (if not all three!).
The cults and false religions teach:
1. Jesus was NOT God in human flesh;
2. You can work your way to Heaven;
3. Hell is not real (or, if it is, it only lasts for a short period).
No false teaching in the world can do all three … present the Good News, heal the sick, and cast out demons! Especially like you are doing when you’re anointed with LOVE! False teaching is usually “lop-sided” with emphasis on either of two large errors: either you’re saved by your works only; or you can sin all you want to and get away with it!
“Faith without works is dead.” [James 2:14-26]
“For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which works by love.” [Galatians 5:6]
RESURRECTION AND A NEW VISION
If you are used in creative, powerful, and productive works by God then I have a warning for you. Just about the time you put the “stamp” on your ministry and declare “Mission Accomplished” there will come a time of discouragement. It is nothing more than a demonic attack assigned by Satan to discourage you, to get you to slow down, to get you to lose excitement, to get you to think you can’t do any more great works, and to get you to quit!
Immediately after the victory for which you have fought, prayed, and believed in faith, will subtly appear one of your most dangerous attacks from the enemy. It will NOT be like the attack(s) BEFORE your conquest: to discourage you, to make you afraid, to cause loss of integrity, loss of a loved one, or loss of possessions. All of which attacks you can defeat . . . and withstand . . . by living holy and living a life of faith and trust in God.
But this attack will be so delicate or precise as to be difficult to analyze or describe. You will not be capable, without discernment from God, of making fine distinctions as to the source of the attack. It will be covert and delicately complex. There will be put in place clever and indirect means by the enemy to achieve your downfall: spiritually, socially, materially, physically, and mentally . . . in that order.

This two-part newsletter was written to instruct you as to how to offset this kind of attack, and to guard against it; also, to augment and solidify your recent victory, and to go on to higher and more productive accomplishments.
King Solomon tells us in the Book of Ecclesiastes that a threefold cord is not easily broken. (Ecclesiastes 4:12) There are three things you can do to assure your maintenance of the victory and your own personal integrity. They are as follows:
1. Guard Against Pride
2. Monitor the Victory
3. Plan for the Future
After your victory is the time the enemy will do his best to allure you with:
• Fame;
• Fortune;
• Lust; and,
• Deception of any kind
Don’t let your guard down! You are at your weakest point of defense right after your victory:
• Rest;
• Stay under the anointing;
• Plan, stretch out in faith; and,
• Start implementing your plans for the NEXT victory. It may be related to the harvest of your present (recent) victory.
Rest for a short period. Use this time to reflect and give thanks to God, and those people who assisted you, for the victory. Pray God’s blessing on those who assisted you!
Stay in the Word of God and prayer. Stay under the anointing. Use this period of rest to listen to God for the “skeletal” outline of your NEXT project. Receive your plans from the Spirit. Praise and thank Him in faith for the next victory!
Don’t wait for everything to be perfect before you implement your next assignment. Don’t wait until all the conditions are right before you start. Count the cost, but use faith. You can refine after you implement.
God is getting ready to use you MORE GREATLY than ever before! He has given you the “eye of the tiger” . . . you will never be taken captive by the enemy. You will be stronger and more productive for the kingdom of God. The Master will say to you: “Well done, thou good and faithful servant; enter into the joy of the Lord.”
MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

EIGHT TWIN STRATEGIES FOR SUCCESS & CONTINUED VISION (PART D – FINAL)
In previous teachings in this series we discussed the FIRST FIVE TWINS for success and continued vision:
- Enthusiastic Desire PLUS Faith;
- Decisive Nature PLUS Virtue;
- Specialized Knowledge PLUS Spiritual Knowledge;
- Quest for Excellence PLUS Temperance; and,
- Organic Spiritual Endeavor PLUS Patience.
In this final teaching of the series we will cover the LAST THREE TWINS:
- Principles of Value PLUS Godliness;
- Like-minded Associates PLUS Brotherly Kindness; and
- Vehicle for Attainment PLUS Love.
When you combine your good desires with faith . . . ENTHUSIASTIC DESIRE PLUS FAITH . . . you have an unbeatable combination. You can begin to PLAN your future prayerfully based upon the God given desires of your heart. That’s one reason it is important to read and meditate upon the Word of God daily so you will KNOW and develop the will of God for your life.
Remember . . . you can CREATE with your faith. Hebrews 11:1 tell us, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” Faith is the underpinning or support . . . a title deed (as in property) . . . that lets you KNOW you have the objects or affairs you do not yet see.
It is a wonderful thing to have FAITH, but if you have a PLAN incorporating your desires to go along with your faith, it is even better! Here’s a SECRET that will allow you to SEE many MIRACLES:
If your PLAN fits into God’s plan
. . . . . . . you will have God’s FAITH
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . and God’s faith ALWAYS WORKS!
You need to be able to make decisions based upon knowledge and quality input. Once again, this is where it is important to read and meditate upon the Word of God daily. You need DIRECTION in the many matters of life that face you now . . . and also about future planning. God has given you everything you need for LIFE and GODLINESS through His PROMISES and the KNOWLEDGE of Christ.
In ministry and in business you need to draw upon quality research, marketing, and experience (sometimes the input of others). And you need to KNOW when to act. Timing is KEY to success in many courses of action. Bill Gates, founder of Microsoft, says that when he knows that something is right, and that the timing is right, he goes into it with MASSIVE ACTION. However, without VIRTUE a decision can have disastrous effects eternally and with no substance temporally here on earth.
The Greek word for VIRTUE in the New testament is arete: it means excellence and valor. We need to be people of EXCELLENCE. Our nature should be to make excellent DECISIONS based upon VIRTUE. If we are following Jesus and listening to the Holy Spirit, we will be able to accomplish this continuously.
“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men. Knowing that of the Lord you shall receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.” [Colossians 3:23-24]
Make your decisions based upon the fact that God is watching you!
We are living in a day like the prophet Daniel described where “knowledge shall be increased” and we should take advantage of that knowledge to advance the kingdom of God. Daniel, in a passage of scripture dealing with the end times, tells us ” . . . but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.” [Daniel 11:32] Exploit, in the sense used here, means literally “to do successively unfolding bold, courageous works!”
There are many ways to influence society and to reach the world for Messiah. And there are many NEW ways to help yourself gain SUCCESS! Pray and ask God to reveal these to you. Then, obey Him and be diligent to study in order to prepare yourself to be used by the Master: to be a good steward.
No amount of SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE, however, will be of significant time value without SPIRITUAL KNOWLEDGE. No matter how successful we become in life, it will not be of any time value unless we know God personally. If we know God through His Son, Yeshua (Jesus) the Messiah, then we have eternal life. [Brit Chadashah: John 3:16]
When you study the Bible, ask the Holy Spirit to speak to you, and to teach you so you can teach others. The scripture instructs us, “Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” [2 Timothy 2:15]
Combining SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE with SPIRITUAL KNOWLEDGE will provide you a powerful impetus for ongoing success and continued vision. To be really successful we need to share our success with others: our family, our brothers and sisters in Messiah, our community, and the world.
THE MORE YOU KNOW . . . THE MORE THE HOLY SPIRIT CAN USE! This applies not only to mental knowledge but also to knowledge gained through the acquisition of physical skills or craftsmanship.
Practice excellence in your CHARACTER. Be transparent and keep your word. Psalm 15 is a good start for practical living and developing excellence in character. Also, loving our neighbor as we do our self, and doing unto our neighbor as we would have him do to us, is the guideline our Gadol Cohen (Great Rabbi) set before us.
Practice excellence in your WORK. Be a good steward for your earthly employer and your Heavenly employer. Colossians 3:22 instructs us NOT to do sight-labor: that is, work that needs watching.
In your quest for excellence, develop your skills to the BEST of your ability. Be a good manager of what God has given you and over which God has placed you. Keep improving and growing in your knowledge base, your acumen, and your skills. Study Part ‘A’ of this teaching to help develop excellence in acumen; particularly study the section on “Decisive Nature and Virtue.”
Along with the quest for excellence you need to partner with temperance, or self control. Many people, on their quest for excellence, do NOT allow for rest or leisure. This is vital to SUCCESS and CONTINUED VISION.
Rest, and also quietness, is necessary for wholeness. A key scripture and principle that I have tried to practice in my life for many years is found in Isaiah 30:15:
“For thus says the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel: In returning and rest shall you be saved; and in quietness and in confidence shall be your strength.”
Leisure is more than just non-work. It is when we PERMIT ourselves time for rest, growth, and development. Leisure is BOTH the embryo and the catalyst for creativity, and for NEW experiences, people, play, and places.
We have to permit ourselves the time to rest . . . to re-create . . . and to create! Isaiah 58:13-14 tells us about an ADDED BONUS when we honor the Sabbath of the Lord.
“If you turn away your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasure on My holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honorable; and shall honor Him, not doing your own ways, nor finding your own pleasure, nor speaking your own words:
Then shall you delight yourself in the LORD; and I will cause you to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father: for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.”
We need to have TOTAL success in life: in this life on earth and in the eternal beyond; and God has provided just such means to attain that goal. God has given us EVERYTHING WE NEED for: LIFE, and GODLINESS.
“According as His divine power has given unto us ALL THINGS that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that has called us to glory and virtue.” [2 Peter 1:3]
He has given us PROMISES so that we can share or partner with Him in His divine expansion – or growth of descendants – after we have escaped, by His saving grace, the ruin that is in the world through lust. In other words, after we are born again and start serving Messiah, we can partner and be a companion with God in successfully bearing fruit: that is, growing other seed-descendants. These include our own children who are born again while also reaching out to the rest of the world.
“Whereby are given to us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” [2 Peter 1:4]
How can we involve ourselves in powerful, prolonged, and productive effort that will be self multiplying and profitable, not only temporally here on Planet Earth but also eternally in Heaven?
The answer: be actively engaged in organic ministry growth! Be involved in a work that is propagating living, continuous development of the Kingdom of God.
The definition of the word propagate is “to breed by natural (or supernatural) processes from a parent origin; to promote an idea or knowledge widely; to transmit in a particular direction.”
There are around 60,000 people groups on Planet Earth, with Messianic believers and Christians in most regions of the earth. With the expansion of global trade, internet access, social networking, and communications, many – if not most – of these groups understand and view themselves as one worldwide synagogue or church in an interconnected world. To be involved in Kingdom Work is to be involved with the heart and purpose of God. It is to be involved LOCALLY and GLOBALLY . . . and both TEMPORALLY and ETERNALLY.
The earth is getting smaller with regard to travel, communications, and interfacing of cultures. At the same time the Body of Messiah’s people is becoming more inter-tribal. We see the horizon of the fulfillment of Yeshua’s prophecy that the Good News will be preached, proclaimed, or published before the time of His return to Planet Earth.
“And the gospel must first be published [preached] among all nations.” [Mark 13:10]
The word for nations here used is “ethnos” – as in ethnic group – meaning “a race of the same habit, or culture, or tribe.”
Read and study the Biblical pattern of synagogue and church growth in the Book of Acts. Certain things are evidentiary and these same patterns are manifest in any POWER GROWTH synagogue or church today.
1. When people believed in Yeshua (Jesus), and after they took part in mikvah (were baptized in water), a group was formed for: worship; teaching; prayer; helps; and, evangelism.
2. Prophets and teachers were raised up by the Holy Spirit.
3. The Christians prayed and fasted.
4. The Holy Spirit called out apostles.
5. These apostles were sent out (NOT “released”) by the believers after hands were laid on them.
6. As the apostles went to different areas they preached the Good News.
7. Other churches were raised up as a result of the preaching and the work of the apostles.
8. The churches grew and ministered to the believers, the community, and the world.
Notice, in Acts 13:1-4, it was the Holy Spirit who CALLED the apostles (verse 2) and it was the Holy Spirit who SENT them (verse 4). In between the calling and the sending was the ratification by the elders with the laying on of hands (verse 3). The apostles were NOT “released by men” . . . it was the Holy Spirit who called and sent them.
Notice, this is the NORMAL PATTERN of church growth. This is to be expected today! It should be a regular practice of a local church to SEND OUT workers: both for long term commitment and for short term service.
We should always be willing to make changes for the Lord; that is part of discipleship. However; there are times we have to wait . . . because God is developing things or situations where we are going to be sent . . . or because He is developing things in our lives . . . or both!
But if you wait for an EXTENDED period of time, then examine yourself to make sure you are willing to leave your comfort zone. God may be speaking to you and redirecting you, but you may not be listening because it is NOT what you want to hear.
Patience is really cheerful, or hopeful, endurance. True biblical patience, as expressed by the Greek word “hupomone” is constancy. It is the kind of enduring patience, or patient continuance in well doing. It is knowing the will of God for this season of your life, and looking forward to being used by God in SPECIAL SERVICE in the future, also! Be involved in ministry that is sending out the workers, birthing or planting new synagogues and churches, preaching and teaching to facilitate the MIRACLE working power of God. Yeshua (Jesus) sent out his followers . . . and He is sending YOU out to:
Preach and teach;
Heal the sick;
Cast out demons.
This threefold ministry, or triangulation of mission, will empower you and your ministry; it will keep you FRESH under the anointing of the Spirit. You will be continuously creative, causing you to be more successful and to have continued vision!
Now, if you add to your patience PRINCIPLES OF VALUE and GODLINESS, you will have the spiritual and physical mechanics to add other people, like-minded associates, to your asset bank for success and continued vision.
PRINCIPLES OF VALUE plus GODLINESS
One of the great aspects of reading and studying – as well as meditating upon – the Holy Bible daily is so we can learn precepts and principles. We can learn HOW God thinks about certain things and WHY He wants us to behave in a particular manner. Situations vary in life; we may not always come up against situations that have been codified. However, if we know HOW God thinks about certain things and WHY God expects certain responses from us, then we can transfer those principles into every arena of life.
We need to know both the Jewish Old Testament (Tanakh) and the Jewish New Testament (Brit Chadashah) so we can navigate successfully through the issues of life and have continued vision. There is an association between the Law of God and vision from the Lord.
“The law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from the Lord.” [Lamentations 2:9]
“Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keeps the law, happy is he.” [Proverbs 29:18]
It is the same way in our personal lives and ministries. If we adhere to the teachings of God; that is, live by the principles we learn about HOW God thinks and WHY He expects certain behavior, then we will not only have SUCCESS but also continued VISION.
Actually the combined traits of PRINCIPLES OF VALUE and GODLINESS will be concomitant factors. Here again is the key: knowing and obeying the Word of God, which is His Will!
LIKE-MINDED ASSOCIATES plus BROTHERLY KINDNESS
You need to have strong relationships with God and with those people to whom God will lead you to work. Appreciate the people with which God has chosen you to work. However, don’t try to “force” relationships: don’t make commitments to every person you meet. God will show you those people to whom you should be committed when you are FIRST committed to Him!
Give positive support, or “reinforcement” to those people you’re committed to …
Whether they are OVER YOU in a position of authority;
You are OVER THEM; or,
You are on the same level (working or ministry associates).
Remind each other that “God will fight for us!”.
Give your associates REWARDS from time-to-time for:
The good work they do;
Their consistency and faithfulness; or,
Their availability.
These rewards do not (always) have to be monetary. Sometimes a “pat on the back”, or a “word of encouragement”, is really meaningful: letting them know the good they are doing is not going unnoticed. Let people KNOW you are THANKFUL and APPRECIATIVE of their association with you.
Maybe an invitation to dinner, or just spending time alone with them or their family, whether it’s a few minutes or a day or two. It is also important for a man to give positive support to his wife. There are so many ways a wife serves a husband in his ministry that may go unnoticed by him.
Simple brotherly kindness to and among your group will go a long way to impacting the world with Messiah’s love and power! This is the reason I started The Apostles Group seven years ago, and the reason I write this newsletter and provide our world services free.
We need to appreciate those nearest to us, and never to take them for granted. This is where “family altar” is so important: don’t neglect ministering to your own family! They may be your GREATEST DISCIPLES!! Read and discuss the Holy Bible together, and then pray together.
It is good to spend time refreshing your mind thinking about all the successes God has given you in the past. God has NOT brought you this far to make you fail. God is FOR you! One time the disciples of Jesus were in a ship in the middle of the sea where the waves were rough and the wind was strong. They became fearful until Jesus came to them on the water and told them not to be afraid. They FORGOT that the Lord had commanded them to GO to the other side.
He did NOT intend them to sink or to fail. Jesus intends for you to SUCCEED! He wants you to make it to the “other side.” Take time to study in the Holy Bible how others have succeeded: Abraham, Joseph, Daniel, Esther, Mordecai … and the Apostles.
Associate with like-minded people who SHARE YOUR VISION (or who know what you’re about) . . . people who are POSITIVE. You want to be able to brainstorm with these people, and not to have ideas – no matter how ridiculous – be shot down as soon as they are verbalized.
IMPORTANT: This group of like-minded people with whom you will share your vision, goals, and new ideas, is NOT an accountability group. This is NOT a group of people to whom you decide to be accountable for your personal life, your ministry, or your finances. This is a group of people with whom you need to have OPENNESS for CREATIVITY:
To dream;
To plan;
To get feedback; and,
To implement.
We have seen that when we add to our patience the twin gifts of GODLINESS and PRINCIPLES OF VALUE, we will have the spiritual and physical mechanics to add other people, LIKE-MINDED ASSOCIATES, to our asset bank for success and continued vision. VEHICLE FOR ATTAINMENT plus LOVE
What is the means by which you will arrive at your goal? What is the vehicle which will transport you to the attainment of your dream?
When an athlete in a championship game scores the winning goal, he is merely manifesting a composite of the years of training, wins and losses, experience, exercise, and mental conditioning that have preceded this moment. Likewise, the composite of major decisions in our lives are usually the summation of the smaller minor decisions and habit-patterns we have formed along the way.
To some people, the vehicle for attainment of their goals is a multilevel marketing plan. To others, it is a business and investment plan. To many, it is a retirement plan. To the ULTIMATE WINNER, it is the vision and the miraculous arrived at through seeking God in prayer and fasting: combining ENTHUSIASTIC DESIRE and FAITH with DIRECTION from God.
God will reveal YOUR vehicle for attainment as you spend time alone with Him. Shut off your television and your video / DVD player . . . spend time with the Creator of the Universe. Talk to Him . . . listen to Him. God is NOT stupid. The Heavenly Father knows the person who wants to be used by Him . . . the person who wants to spend time with Him. And, He doesn’t need anyone: no matter how great our talents, skills, and possessions!
The Creator will reveal by His Spirit the vehicle for you to use in the attainment of your goal(s) . . . and when to CHANGE that vehicle. God, the creator of the goal-desires in your heart, knows the methodology by which to bring them to pass. He knows the vehicle by which, when coupled with FAITH, will bring the goal-desires into fruition.
There is an amazing spiritual truth we find in Genesis 11:1-9. Before the nations of the earth were scattered on the face of the earth, the earth was of one language and one speech. The people had decided to make a city and a tower, whose top would reach unto heaven; they wanted to make a name for themselves so they would not be scattered abroad upon the face of the earth.
“And the Lord said, ‘Behold, the people is one, and they all have one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.” [verse 6] “Let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another’s speech.” [verse 7]
Archaeological records show us that these were wicked and idolatrous people. Yet we see in verse 6 that God said, “nothing will be restrained from them”. Notice they had ONE goal and ONE speech. They were unified in purpose and language.
If this principle of “oneness” works in unbelievers … for ungodly, wicked people … how much more will it work for believers … for God’s people … who have ONE goal and ONE speech: a common vision and a common language! Especially spirit-filled Christians who have a common objective and who can pray and decree a thing (or a set of objectives) in not only their common earthly language(s), but also their heavenly language: tongues!
In Job 22:28 we read, “You shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto you …” In the original Hebrew language the word “decree” is a primitive root form of the word “gazar“, which means “to cut out exclusively, or to decide“. In its primitive form it is used also as a “quarrying” term … as in cutting out stone from a rock quarry.
It means more than to “say” or “speak”. It conveys the meaning of “cutting something out in your mind’s eye”; that is, “to envision [to make a vision], to decide upon it, and confess it” … and then it will be established unto you! If you and your Christian brothers and sisters have a common vision or goal, and decide upon it, confessing it in a common language, speaking it … “nothing will be restrained from you which you have imagined (or, envisioned) to do!! [Read again Genesis 11:1-6.]
The SECRET . . . the capstone to the whole process . . . without which you will not be the ULTIMATE WINNER . . . is LOVE.
The vehicle for attainment of your goals, no matter how intense your desire, your faith and the other twins we have studied, cannot bring you into success and continued vision without LOVE. Love is the channel through which the gifts of the Holy Spirit work. “Faith works by love.” [Galatians 5:6]
Remember … if you have LOVE, then FAITH can work.

EIGHT TWIN STRATEGIES FOR SUCCESS & CONTINUED VISION – PART C
In the previous two newsletters we discussed the FIRST FOUR TWINS for success and continued vision:
Enthusiastic Desire PLUS Faith;
Decisive Nature PLUS Virtue;
Specialized Knowledge PLUS Spiritual Knowledge; and,
Quest for Excellence PLUS Temperance.
In this newsletter we will discuss the fifth twin:
Organic Spiritual Endeavor PLUS Patience.
The remaining twins for success and continued vision will be discussed in subsequent newsletters.
ORGANIC SPIRITUAL ENDEAVOR plus PATIENCE
ORGANIC SPIRITUAL ENDEAVOR
To be really successful we need to share our success with others: our family, our brothers and sisters in Messiah, our community, the world . . . and Heaven.
We need to have TOTAL success in life: in this life on earth and in the eternal beyond; and God has provided just such means to attain that goal. God has given us EVERYTHING WE NEED for: LIFE, and GODLINESS.
“According as His divine power has given unto us ALL THINGS that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that has called us to glory and virtue.” [2 Peter 1:3]
He has given us PROMISES so that we can share or partner with Him in His divine expansion – or growth of descendants – after we have escaped, by His saving grace, the ruin that is in the world through lust. In other words, after we are born again and start serving Messiah, we can partner and be a companion with God in successfully bearing fruit: that is, growing other seed-descendants. These include our own children who are born again while also reaching out to the rest of the world.
“Whereby are given to us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these you might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” [2 Peter 1:4]
Now . . . how do we use the precepts we have learned in the previous two teachinngs so as to be involved in ORGANIC SPIRITUAL ENDEAVOR? In other words, how can we involve ourselves in powerful, prolonged, and productive effort that will be self multiplying and profitable, not only temporally here on Planet Earth but also eternally in Heaven?
The answer: be actively engaged in organic ministry growth! Be involved in a work that is propagating continuous development of the Kingdom of God.
The definition of the word “propagate” is “to breed by natural (or supernatural) processes from a parent origin; to promote an idea or knowledge widely; to transmit in a particular direction.”
My purpose in this section is to tell you the SPECIFICS of how to accomplish this.
There are around 60,000 people groups on Planet Earth, with Messianic believers and Christians in most regions of the earth. With the expansion of global trade, internet access, social networking, and communications, many – if not most – of these groups understand and view themselves as one worldwide church in an interconnected world. To be involved in Kingdom Work is to be involved with the heart and purpose of God. It is to be involved LOCALLY and GLOBALLY . . . and both TEMPORALLY and ETERNALLY.
The earth is getting smaller with regard to travel, communications, and interfacing of cultures. At the same time the Body of Messiah is becoming more inter-tribal. We see the horizon of the fulfillment of Yeshua’s prophecy that the Good News will be preached, proclaimed, or published before the time of His return to Planet Earth.
“And the gospel must first be published [preached] among all nations.” [Mark 13:10]
The word for nations here used is “ethnos” – as in ethnic group – meaning “a race of the same habit, or culture, or tribe.”
Read and study the Biblical pattern of church growth in the Book of Acts. Certain things are evidentiary and these same patterns are manifest in any POWER GROWTH church today.
1. When people believed in Yeshua (Jesus), and after they took part in mikvah (were baptized in water), a group was formed for:
Worship;
Teaching;
Prayer;
Helps; and,
Evangelism.
2. Prophets and teachers were raised up by the Ruach ha Chodesh (theHoly Spirit).
3. The Christians prayed and fasted.
4. The Holy Spirit called out apostles.
5. These apostles were sent out (NOT “released”) by the believers after hands were laid on them.
6. As the apostles went to different areas they preached the Good News.
7. Other churches were raised up as a result of the preaching and the work of the apostles.
8. The churches grew and ministered to the believers, the community, and the world.

Notice, this is the NORMAL PATTERN of synagogue and church growth. This is to be expected today! It should be a regular practice of a local church to SEND OUT workers: both for long term commitment and for short term service.
WARNING #1: It is not enough just to see new churches being raised up. This is where many POWER CHURCHES become deceived into complacency and become spiritually diffused. There are two (2) main causes for this effect:
1. They see many new churches being raised up, but begin to lack clarity or conciseness of mission or vision.
Over time they become spread out and increased in numbers but diffused in power. Sometimes this is because of pride, or due to comparing themselves with other regional churches. Sometimes it is because of lack of sacrifice they were willing to render at their outset.
2. They do NOT bring NEW POWERFUL LIFE back into their parent body.
This can be prevented and offset by sending out short term mission groups for a period of three to six weeks. These groups may go to a nearby region or they may go far away overseas to another country. They may combine evangelism, medical, and help ministries. They may go to non-evangelized territories, or they may go to assist those who have previously been sent out by the parent church; or they may go assist missionaries and Christian workers from other church groups.
This will result in a TRIPLE blessing: It will inject LIFE back into the parent church when they return from their short term ministry and share their testimonies; it will also inject LIFE into the area where they are sent; and, it will inject LIFE into the ones sent, influencing their future discipleship for the Lord.
WARNING #2: It is of great spiritual detriment for the new churches – or individuals – being raised up to feel, or be instructed, that they are UNDER THE COVERING of the parent church.
1. They may be accountable to the parent church, or other bodies, but their covering is CHRIST AND HIS BLOOD! To teach otherwise is to cause them to lean on men and not the Lord, and to become disciples of men and not Christ! This is one of Satan’s tricks to quench TRUE evangelistic and prophetic ministry, and to lure them into a false sense of safety or covering.
2. This teaching will usually be prevalent where potential candidates for ministry or the mission field are taught that they are not ready to be “released” from the parent body. To be “released” is implying that they are being held in “bondage.” Who the Son sets FREE is free indeed . . . absolutely! [John 8:36] They may not be ready to be sent out, but they surely should not be held in bondage, nor have that thought implied.
“Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty!” [2 Corinthians 3:17]
Be part of organic synagogue or church growth . . . or organic ministry growth. Not indirectly . . . but DIRECTLY. It is often said, “If you can’t go in person, then go by your prayers . . . or go with your money.” Surely we can share by any of the three means: going, praying, and giving. But be involved in ALL THREE. Now, if you are elderly, or constrained in some way that you can’t go yourself, the Lord understands. But be involved as much as you can: for your sake, for your synagogue or church and ministry’s sake, and for the sake of those to whom you could or should be ministering.
If you are very busy in your business, ministry, or family life, try to set aside vacation time to go on a ministry trip overseas or to some area in great need. If you are in a geographic area where there are no power churches or ministries, then pray for the Lord’s direction. He may want you to START such a ministry. There are lots of good ministry groups who need help. You can contact them on the internet. Here are a few:

If you can, let your family be involved with you. Young children should not go to some areas because of sanitation, dehydration, and other risks. There is a great need in many countries for water and for wells to be drilled. There is a big need in many areas for other helps such as medical missions. Whatever you do, combine it with preaching the Good News. Some groups do lots of social work but never share the Gospel. Others do lots of evangelism but never help meet needs of the local people. Do both!
Be involved in ministry that is sending out the workers, birthing or planting new churches, preaching and teaching to facilitate the MIRACLE working power of God. You may be a business person that God has anointed to help reach the world for Christ; but minister personally, as well as through your business. It will keep you creative, and help you to be even more successful while maintaining continued vision. The anointing will keep you vibrant! Jesus sent out his followers . . . and He is sending YOU out to:
Preach and teach;
Heal the sick;
Cast out demons.
This threefold ministry, or triangulation of mission, will empower you and your ministry; it will keep you FRESH under the anointing of the Spirit. You will be continuously creative, causing you to be more successful and to have continued vision! These things began Jesus both to DO and to TEACH . . . and these things He would have us to DO and to TEACH! [Acts 1:1]
PATIENCE
Most of the people reading this teaching are already in ministry or thinking and praying about it. My advice to you is this: “Go big or stay at home!” In other words, don’t make ministry a hobby or an avocation. Your whole life should center around God’s will for you. Or rather, your whole life should be in the CENTER of God’s will. If not, start praying to that end.
We should always be willing to make changes for the Lord; that is part of discipleship. However; there are times we have to wait . . . because God is developing things or situations where we are going to be sent . . . or because He is developing things in our lives . . . or both!

FALSE HIGHER CRITICISM AND POWERLESS PROFESSORS
A SPECIAL PRESENTATION
DESCRIPTION:
This special presentation will expose the fraudulent, faithless, and foolish teaching that has weakened … if not destroyed … the faith of many seminary graduates who once had a bright light in their eye and a goal towards a lifetime of service in both orthodox and conservative synagogues and churches.
Powerless and impotent professors beget powerless and impotent rabbis and ministers. Like things produce like things. It’s not the survival of the fittest that is a problem for evolution … but it is the ARRIVAL of the fittest. In like manner, it is the arrival upon the scene of Spirit-filled, faith believing rabbis and ministers who bring an influx of G-d, His glory, and His miracles into houses of worship.
Many theological seminaries who were once beacons on the hill for truth and the integrity of G-d’s Word have departed from the core belief that the Holy Bible (Tanakh and Brit Chadashah) is the inspired, inerrant word of G-d in entirety. Instead of turning out powerful men and women of G-d, they are producing leaders who at the best are social and theological evolutionists … and at the worst are shepherds for a neutered Mashiach: a powerless Jesus.
I attended the 2011 graduation ceremony at Azusa Pacific University where 1313 graduates were receiving degrees (B.A., Masters, and Ph.D). The speaker, the new President of the University, a Christian pastor of a large Nazarene church and from a family of many ministers, presented the message to the graduates. After listening to his whole speech, I wondered if he ever reads the Holy Bible … or when was the last time he read it. He mentioned that Abraham’s wife, Sarah, was 95 when she bore Isaac; he also mentioned that Gideon won the battle against the Midianites with only 30 men. Maybe he is just not good with numbers!
Many seminarians have had their faith destroyed by “mentors of madness.” However, it is not all the fault of the impotent professors. If the students were true scholars, they would at least spend as much time searching for truth as they do listening to the directives of their teachers. Just because a teacher has a Ph.D. does not mean he or she holds truth circumspectly. There are usually just as many Ph.D.’s holding positions on the opposite side of the aisle.
Most lay people are unaware of how different their rabbi’s or pastor’s academic view of the Bible is from their own view. If they were to find out that their rabbi or pastor did NOT believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant Word of G-d in entirety, they would be shocked. Actually, this is no more than fraud on the part of leadership. They are being paid while at the same time leading their congregants or parishioners astray. They usually do NOT tell their people what they believe, unless symantically “masking” their real beliefs.
For example, they do NOT believe that the Holy Prophets could predict events ahead of time. (It makes you wonder how they deal with the prophecy of Bethlehem in Tanakh: Micah 5:2.) They do NOT believe, for example, that G-d could tell Isaiah ahead of time that Cyrus would take Babylon and free the Jews to return to Jerusalem. (See Isaiah 44:28 and 45:1-4) This prophecy was given to Isaiah 100 years before Cyrus was born … and called Cyrus by name. This is WHY many synagogues and churches are weak: they have leaders who have been brainwashed by seminary professors to NOT believe in the Word of G-d or in the prophetic ability of the Holy Prophets. (This is usually NOT a problem in yeshivah gedola.)
This transfers to a host of problems: lack of healing, lack of miracles and lack of power; all of which could give glory to G-d and benefit the people of G-d. A lack of TRUE scholarshhip in higher biblical criticism as taught by many seminary professors trickles down and influences the student … many times causing doubt towards the Word of G-d … and at the worst, producing destruction of faith. When a seminarian is taught falsely that there were two … or possibly even three … authors of the Book of Isaiah (Deutero Isaiah, Tertiary Isaiah, etc.), it causes them to doubt the authority of the Holy Bible.
It is for this reason that I am presenting this material to you. I want to prove to you how you can know that Isaiah wrote the Book of Isaiah.

“Hereupon the Persians who had been left for the purpose at Babylon by the, river-side, entered the stream, which had now sunk so as to reach about midway up a man’s thigh, and thus got into the town.” – Herodotus
In 539 BC, Cyrus son of Cambyses took Babylon without a struggle. According to the Greek historian Herodotus, Cyrus diverted the course of the Euphrates river, making the river level drop and giving the invading forces the ability to enter into the city that night through the river bed. Nobody noticed them coming in, and the city gates that opened up onto the river were not closed; the Persians were able to just walk into town. Within a year, Cyrus declared that all the Jews captive in Babylon were free to return home to Jerusalem, as described in Ezra Chapter 1.
These two events – the taking of Babylon the Great without a battle and the magnanimous freeing of the Jews soon after – are both remarkable historical events in themselves. What makes them even more notable is the fact that God told about them in Isaiah 44:26-45:1, 13, appointing Cyrus by name 100 years before this son of Cambyses was born.
The Book of Isaiah is one of the most greatly admired and beloved books of the Bible. The New Testament writers quote Isaiah more than all the other Old Testament prophets combined. From a literary point of view, the writing of Isaiah is superb, full of parallelism and euphony; scholars savor Isaiah’s obvious attention to the literary art of his writing.
Beyond his writing skill, Isaiah’s book is filled with prophecies about Judah and the surrounding lands. It also contains a host of very important Messianic prophecies (7:14-16; 9:1-7; 11:1-16; 32:1ff; 42:1-7; 50:5-8; 52:13-15; 61:1-3; 65:17), even describing in detail Jesus’ crucifixion 700 years before it happened.
In Isaiah 44 and 45, God not only describes the ease with which Cyrus would enter the city with the “two leaved gates” (gates that were not even shut against the invaders!) but also notes that He would “loose the loins of kings” before Cyrus – a euphemism regarding the fear these kings would feel and the mess in their pants they’d make as a result. As a matter of fact, about the time Cyrus’ men were entering the city, King Belshazzar, co-regent with his father Nabonidus, was being interrupted in his feast. A hand began to write on the wall to tell Belshazzar that his time was up. Daniel 5:6 puts in not-so-delicate terms how greatly the fear of this sight affected Belshazzar, saying, “his thoughts troubled him, so that the joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees smote one against another.” Who says God isn’t detailed!
In circles of modern liberal criticism, though, it has become popular to dismiss the idea, held for some 2500 years, that Isaiah son of Amoz wrote the entire book credited to his name. Old Testament scholars have found it fashionable to argue that there were at least two “Isaiahs”, perhaps even three or more. These critics argue that it makes no sense for God to have foretold events that would not have taken place during the life of the prophet. They attempt to argue that the character of God in Isaiah 1-39 is far fiercer than the gentle God of Isaiah 40-66, that the language is different in the two sections, and that there are two different views of the Messiah between the first part of Isaiah and that written by the alleged Deutero-Isaiah. Ultimately, they do not believe that Isaiah could have written about Cyrus the Great in 700 BC. They cannot believe that the precise information in that prophecy could have been penned 150 years before it came to pass.
These criticisms can sound scholarly on the surface, but they depend far less on evidence than on a bias against predictive prophecy. While these scholars may believe that a bias against the supernatural – and the power of God to speak through His prophets centuries in advance – is scientific in this modern world, the truth is, it’s still a bias. It’s still just their opinion based on a humanistic worldview.
Honest scholarship strongly supports the historical view that Isaiah ben Amoz wrote the entire book with his name on it.
Historically, Isaiah has always been recognized as the author of all 66 chapters.
“But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:
That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?”
“Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,
He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.”
Internally, Isaiah offers extensive evidence of one author:
As Gleason Archer Jr. declared, “There is not a shred of internal evidence to support the theory of a Second Isaiah, apart from a philosophical prejudice against the possibility of predictive prophecy.”
Isaiah is an amazing book, filled with the power and passion of God. In it He declares, “I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:” (Isaiah 46:9-10).

My early zeal for studying the Scripture was dampened many years ago as I encountered what is often called “textual criticism.” I was surprised to learn that it was naive and unlearned to regard the Book of Isaiah as actually written by the prophet Isaiah, as was commonly thought.
With its 66 chapters, Isaiah is the longest prophetic book of the Old Testament. Most scholars agree that the book falls naturally into two major sections, Chapters 1-39 and Chapters 40-66.
The first section has a distinctive style which changes noticeably in the final section. It is easy to remember since it parallels the Bible itself, with 39 books in the Old Testament and 27 in the New Testament. (But don’t make too much of this; the chapter divisions, as we know them, were added in the 13th century.)
The Deutero-Isaiah Theory
The “textual critics” have insisted that the Book of Isaiah is a compilation of two different writers, each calling himself Isaiah but writing at different times. This “Deutero-Isaiah” theory is surprisingly prevalent in many modern (“liberal”) commentaries. (There are some that even advocate a three-Isaiah theory.)
The first section of the book deals with God’s approaching judgment on the nation of Judah. In some of the most striking passages in all the Bible, the prophet announces that God will punish His people because of their sin, rebellion, and worship of false gods. While this section includes many references to the coming Messiah, including His virgin birth1 and his rule on the throne of David,2 the style of this section is distinctive and certainly fits the subject matter.
The last section, in contrast to the first, is noticeably different. It emphasizes the Messianic expectation and an ultimate comfort for God’s people. (Most of Handel’s Messiah was drawn from this section of the Book of Isaiah.) The heart of his stunning prophecy occurs in Chapter 53, as Isaiah presents the role of the coming Messiah in its highest point. Some call this passage the “Holy of Holies” of the Old Testament. The Servant’s suffering and death and the redemptive nature of His mission are clearly foretold. Although mankind deserved God’s judgment because “we have turned, every one, to his own way,”3 God sent His Servant to take away our sins. According to Isaiah, it is through His suffering that we are reconciled with God, since “the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.”
It is principally on the basis of the stylistic changes between the two sections that critics have developed the Deutero-Isaiah theory. Those who assign Chapters 40-66 to a “Second Isaiah” point out that the two major sections of the book seem to be set in different times. Chapters 1-39 clearly belong to the eighth century b.c., a turbulent period in the history of Judah.
But Isaiah 40-66, according to these scholars, seems to be addressed to the citizens of Judah who were being held as captives in Babylon about two centuries after Isaiah lived and prophesied. These scholars also point to the differences in tone, language, and style between the two major sections as proof that the book was written by two different authors.
The Traditional View
There are, however, conservative scholars who insist the entire book was written by the famous prophet Isaiah who ministered in the southern kingdom of Judah for 40 years, from about 740-700 b.c. They point out that the two sections of the book have many similarities, although they are dramatically different in tone and theme. Many phrases and ideas that are peculiar to Isaiah appear in both sections of the book.
A good example of this is Isaiah’s unique reference to God as “the Holy One of Israel.”4 The appearance of these words and phrases can be used to argue just as convincingly that the book was written by a single author.
In the second section of his book, Isaiah looked into the future and predicted the years of the Captivity and the return of the Covenant People to their homeland after the Captivity ended. If the prophet could predict the coming of the Messiah over 700 years before that happened, he could certainly foresee this major event in the future of the nation of Judah.
The style of each section deliberately matches its subject matter.
The Valley of Doubt
Doubts about the authorship and authenticity of any book in the Bible can have tragic consequences for those who are attempting to take the Bible seriously (especially seminary students). As I look back on my own spiritual journey, I recall the many years that these views introduced a subtle doubt in my mind and hampered my real growth in the Word.
Is there a way to resolve this without getting drawn into the distressing debates and arrogant displays among erudite scholars and “textual critics”? Indeed, there is. I only wish I had discovered it earlier in my own travels through God’s wondrous Word.
The Discovery in John 12
What a precious chapter! It has many marvelous insights, but among the dearest to me personally are verses 37-41:
In this passage we first encounter a quote, in verse 38, familiar to many of you, that begins the famous chapter of Isaiah 53. This would be in the section attributed to the “Second Isaiah.”
In verse 40 we have a quote from Isaiah Chapter 6 (v. 10), as verse 41 also highlights what occurs when Isaiah beholds the throne of God. This is, of course, in the first section of Isaiah.
Oh, how I am grateful for verse 39! Notice that John tells us that “that Isaiah said again” when he links the two passages and, thus, the two sections and attributes them both to “that” (same) Isaiah!
If you take John seriously, and recognize the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, then you need not doubt the authorship of Isaiah – both “sections.”
It is fascinating to me to notice that there is no heresy – or controversy – that hasn’t been anticipated by the Holy Spirit within the Scripture itself. If we recognize the reality that we have 66 books penned by 40 authors over thousands of years that are an integrated whole, and that every detail has been the result of careful and skillful engineering, then there is no need to stumble over the erudite skepticism and arrogance by scholarship falsely so called.
Isn’t God wonderful? If we would just learn to take Him at His Word.
