INTRODUCTION
Many of you reading the show notes―or listening to―this podcast have a select group assigned to you by God. That is, a group of people to whom you are responsible—to God and to them―for supplying the Bread of Life. If you have been called to the office of prophet, this information will help you to monitor, minister and manage effectively so as to position yourself for optimum stewardship of God’s gift in your life. Does it not stand to reason that the enemy of this select group does not want you communicating lasers of light―missiles of ministry―for the immediate healing and guidance of the select group to which you are responsible? This select group needs to know:
Where they’re at …
Where they’re going …
What’s happening today …
What’s happening in the future

WHY PROPHECY IS IMPORTANT
A prophet must monitor what’s going on in his or her area of assignment. If the area of assignment is international, then the observation, of course, is international and encompasses geopolitical happenings.
It is not always possible to know such information in the natural―even with the internet and social media―but it can be known supernaturally to those whom God chooses to reveal such happenings. This will include what is happening NOW … and what will happen in the FUTURE.
A prophet must be in a state of readiness at all times: ready to hear … ready to question … ready to speak.
Habakkuk lived in a period when his country had fallen from the heights to the depths with degradation in the legal system of the land. Remind yourself that this happened after Josiah’s reforms. How quickly we are to go from boom to panic. Governments―because they are made up of people―can be bipolar as well.
This reminds me of a poem I shared as part of my speech when graduating from engineering college and I was awarded the trophy for being the “Most Worthless Senior.” (Five years later, the Lord Jesus, Israel’s Messiah, made me worthy―He became my worthiness―when I received Him as my Savior and Lord.)
“Our system is depressive manic. It runs from boom and then to panic.
In view of this it would be wise for government to stabilize.
Knowing the need for both … stability and economic growth.
And that constant, steady unemployment can often be a disappointment.”
I’m not sure, but I think that was from J. Sullivan Edwards’ book, Ride the Wild Horses.
MONITOR
Habakkuk is overtaken by the circumstances all around him. He thinks God has removed Himself from the affairs of man. Leaders are in control who do not serve God. The prophet says:
“I will stand upon my watch, and position myself upon the tower, and will watch to see what God will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved.” ‒ Habakkuk 2:1
Let me ask you a question: “Are you standing upon YOUR watch?” Are you listening to what the LORD will say? Today―more than ever―people need a word from God. Yes, they need to be IN God’s Word (reading and meditating), and they need the Word to be IN them … but they also need to hear specific rhemas―personal messages from God to them―directed by the Spirit of God in the timing of God.
The man I respected most for always having a word from God for people was a man named Dick Mills. He was an humble servant of God. He gave me in the course of his lifetime several prophetic messages―including Words of Knowledge from the Holy Bible―that were “spot on” and everyone of them came to pass. He prophesied to me and told me that I would have a ministry like his which came to pass.
We must monitor by knowing―keeping in touch―with what’s going on around us. But more importantly we must monitor by “standing upon our watch” and waiting upon God to speak―to see what He will say to us―about the nation and for the nation … about people and for the people.
MINISTER
To minister is to serve. Just recently, a lady I have never met, contacted me by email. This lady had read my book, Prophecy, Transition & Miracles. She told me, “The Lord told me to tell you ‘Keep your shoes clean.’” Now I know it must have been hard for this lady to say this. As a matter of fact she told me later she was afraid to tell me as it might offend me.
What she did NOT know is that recently I purchased a new pair of inexpensive shoes to wear with khakis or Levis. I always try to keep my shoes shined and clean. However, a day or so before this lady sent the message to me I was looking at my new shoes and thinking, “I should clean them.” But … I decided to put it off. Well, when I received the lady’s message (and knowing she didn’t know anything about me or my new shoes) I decided to clean them.
Wouldn’t you know … the very next day I was in a very important meeting where the shoes were very visible and it was very important that they be perfectly clean.
That may seem trifle but … it was IMPORTANT. And, it shows the importance of personal prophecy: NOT “kookie” stuff, but exact “laser directed” words from God that many times only the Lord knows what it is about. Personal ministry with “lasers of light” pinpointing in exactness the message from God for the people to whom you minister: those in your watch care or area of assignment.
Daily, remember to ask God for discernment over people, things and situations. Not all that glitters is gold … and not all prophecies that come to YOU are from God. I have “tons” of prophecies that have been given to me through the years, but I have hung them on the wall “so to speak” until I either knew in my heart―or received valid confirmation―that they were from God.
Just as we want to receive accurate words from God, so we have the responsibility to deliver accurate words to others in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
MANAGE
Habakkuk managed his activities so that he had time―he took time―to wait upon God. He positioned himself―by schedule and activity―to watch and see what God would say to Him. The answer he received from God has helped people for over 2,500 years. A prophet must realize that he or she―even if delivering a message to one person―may be influencing nations and future generations.
By God’s grace, I have spoken words that launched people into powerful ministries that multiply further because of the right message at the right time. YOU are an instrument of God. Guard this privilege with all your might. Manage your time, your resources and even your recreation so that your assignment from God―the people assigned to your watch care―do not suffer. A shepherd tends to the flock by feeding, healing, guiding and protecting. But … the shepherd must stay strong himself to be in condition. Your body is NOT your own … you have been bought with a price: with the precious BLOOD of Messiah Jesus. Therefore, glorify God in your body … and that includes the mental part as well.
It’s the anointing that breaks the yoke. The Holy Spirit is God’s agent on earth to supply the resurrection POWER of Christ. Honor the Holy spirit and He will honor you.
Habakkuk received the message from God that made it possible for him to rise above the circumstances. It was this:
“Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith.” ‒ Habakkuk 2:4
Much of the misunderstanding concerning prophecy has to do with the lack of understanding the historicity of prophecy (the time frame in which the prophecy was delivered) and the purpose of prophecy. We need to understand the different elements of prophecy and their functions, such as:
Predictive prophecy.
Office of the prophet.
Gift of prophecy.
PREDICTIVE PROPHECY
Prophecies of old revealed in the Tanakh (the Hebrew Scriptures) may be categorized in two sections: “fulfilled” and “yet to be fulfilled.” The former need no defense: their fulfillment in detail is proof of their validity. Analysis of current geopolitical events and relationships seem to “escort” many of the remaining unfulfilled prophecies. It is here that quantum physics and the office of the prophet MAY become synergistic at times. You may study in detail about this here:Faith and Quantum Physics.
OFFICE OF THE PROPHET
The office of prophet and seer are generally synonymous; however, what most people—especially theologians—don’t realize is that God is more than willing to SHOW His servants the road ahead. The Holy Spirit will guide you into ALL truth: spiritual, economic, relational and political truth. God many times will give a prophet a “feeling” or a vision that is panoramic and unfolding for cycles or events. For full teaching on this subject, go to“Prophets and Seers” where you can both read and listen by podcast. The purpose of this podcast-teaching is two-fold: 1. To describe HOW the ministry of the seer operates; and, 2. To warn you of Satan’s tools.
GIFT OF PROPHECY
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is NOT the same as Baptism into the Body of Messiah. All followers of Jesus have the Holy Spirit (the Ruach HaKodesh); However, NOT all of His followers have the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. This Gift of Power is PROMISED to you. CONSIDER
If we turn back, God cannot fight for us. Why? Because, when we turn our back, we are disobeying our leading AND our Leader. We are not taking action.
There is a triangular stratagem that your enemy, Satan, has devised to throw you off course. At some time in your life you may experience these: fear, shame and mental oppression. Maybe all-at-once.
We will not see real miracles unless we put ourselves in a position in which God can work for us. God works in the area of the impossible. What is impossible with men is possible with God.
You may not need direction . . . you may just need to go forward.

DEFEATING THE TRIANGLE OF LOSS
YOU CAN GET BACK UP

The enemy of your soul has many tools in his bag. However, there is a favorite of his: it is the “Triangle of Loss.” His favorite … and most successful … attacks are as follows: Fear, Shame and Mental Oppression. And, sometimes he likes to use all three of them at the same time. The purpose of this podcast teaching is to help YOU discern and defeat this triangle of loss.
There is an old saying, “You are as others see you.” The devil knows if you have FEAR in your heart. If you do, ask God to help you: to take the fear away. King David said, “What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee (the LORD).” [Psalm 56:3] Go to the Word of God and RECEIVE BY FAITH the power promised in the scriptures, such as:
“For God has not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” [2 Timothy 1:7] Fear is a spirit; therefore, you must speak to it. God is love and He is spirit. Love is stronger than fear. Perfect love casts out fear.
“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love.” [1 John 4:18]
If you are afraid of someone, ask God to give you His love for them.
You can bind fear in the name of Jesus, and cast it away from you. Command it to leave, and use the name of Jesus against it. Speak (declare) the BLOOD of Messiah Jesus against it.
It is your responsibility to overcome fear. SERIOUS cases of fear require four (4) steps:
A stayed (fixed) mind.
Confession of God’s Word [1 John 4:18; James 4:7; and 2 Timothy 1:7].
A step of faith . . . action. Speak to fear and take authority over it.
Intercession and spiritual warfare (for others or one’s self).

IMPORTANT
THE REASON FOR THIS ATTACK OF FEAR
IS TO GET YOU TO STOP ACTION

The enemy’s chief concern is that you STOP doing what you are currently involved in doing. You have been TOO SUCCESSFUL, or, you are on your way to being successful; also, your plans for future endeavors are causing him to freak out. The devil is the most frustrated person in the world today; he knows that his time is running out. When the fullness of the Gentiles takes place, then all Israel (the nation as a whole) will be saved. [Romans 11]
SunTzu, in his book, The Art of War, says “Every battle is won before it is fought.” How true in Christian warfare: even the whole war is won because of the victory of our Lord Messiah Jesus. His death, burial, and resurrection conquered the enemy and bought our freedom and eternal life. Now . . . we take ACTION on that victory by appropriating it in faith as we move forward.
Another weapon in the arsenal of the enemy, in addition to fear, is shame. The enemy will try to attack you with imposed shame.
Lots of times, the enemy will attack even seasoned warriors with imposed shame from family members or friends as a result of some “slip up” from the past.
There are many examples of shame experienced by people of God in the Bible. None of us are perfect: that’s why we need a Savior! Abraham (the same as) sold his wife two times. Moses killed a man in anger. David committed adultery and murder. Peter denied Messiah three times in one night.
We see that Adam’s shame was manifested in hiding. In Revelation 3:18, Jesus admonished the Church at Laodicea to “. . . buy of me white raiment, that you may be clothed, [so] that the shame of our nakedness does not appear . . .”
There are several types of shame:
Adamic shame
Inherited shame
Actual shame
Imposed shame
Every one of these types of shame may be remitted, or canceled, by the atonement of Messiah Jesus. The BLOOD of Messiah paid for you and your sins, and provides healing for shame.
The verdict of guilt, whether real or imagined, is shame. It may be something inherited from Adam (who brought sin into the world as the federal head of the race); or it may be something inherited from ancestral, or family lines. It may be actual shame, resulting from an action you have initiated. And . . . it may be psychological shame . . . real or false shame that people or demon spirits have tried to impose upon you, resulting in oppression, rejection, physical or mental sickness, and lack of production.
Jesus the Messiah bore your shame. Hebrews 12:2 tells us that our Lord Jesus despised the shame of the cross and his nakedness thereon, but went through it because of the JOY set before Him: that is, he saw YOU able to be made whole and to know God, with your sins forgiven and having eternal life, as the result of His sacrifice. Jesus despised shame . . . and He despises it in YOUR life. He died for YOU so that you do NOT have to carry shame. He carried it for YOU!
He is alive to remit guilt and its resultant shame from your life today. You can appropriate the healing in His shed BLOOD for you by calling on Him today. Pray and ask Him to deliver you.
You can get back up . . . because He got back up! The Master has need of you in these last days.
Along with fear and imposed shame, the enemy will also, at times, try to attack the seasoned warrior of Christ with mental oppression. Again, I have some Good News for you.
Oppression – both mental and physical – are included in Messiah’s work FOR US. Messiah was driven; he was abased and looked down upon. Isaiah 53:7 says, “He was oppressed and he was afflicted . . .”
The Hebrew word for “oppress” [nagas] in this passage means “to drive, to harass, to tyrannize, to oppress.”
The original word used for “afflicted” [anah] means “to look down upon, depress, abase, humble.”
Messiah was driven; he was abased and looked down upon … in YOUR place.
In Isaiah 53:4, where it reads, ” . . . he carried our pains,” the literal Hebrew meaning is “acute pain; intense suffering: MENTAL or PHYSICAL.”
In Psalm 41, a Psalm of David written 1,000 years before Messiah Jesus, Kind David writes, “LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul, for I have sinned against you.” [Verse 4]
The Hebrew word here used for “soul” is “nephesh” which refers to not only the mind, but also the heart: healing for the intellect, the emotion, and the will, as well as the body. Jesus “carried” sickness, sin, disease, poverty and oppression – the “works” of the devil (Satan) – FOR YOU!
Now . . . YOU don’t have to carry them any longer! They do NOT belong to the believer in Jesus the Messiah!
Jesus healed the separation between God and man through His work (the atonement) FOR US, and therefore ended Satan’s dominion over ALL who would trust in Messiah.
“For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might DESTROY the works of the devil.” [1 John 3:8]
Action, including intercession, is the key thing Satan is afraid of in your life and ministry. He has to STOP your action. But he can’t if you do NOT let him! “The kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.” [Matthew 11:12] The Greek word for “violent” here used is “biastes” and means a “forcer” or “one who is energetic.” The devil is AFRAID of your ENERGY directed towards the kingdom!
Follow this model: Effort, energy, enthusiasm.
Notice that most of the attacks Satan makes against you are in the realm of the mind through lies: telling you that you are ill, weak, going to die . . . or using imposed shame, fear, or discouragement. This is why you must be proactive and DECLARE the BLOOD of Christ over your body, mind, soul and spirit each day. (This way, even your emotions are covered.)
It’s interesting to note that one of the names of the devil is “Beelzebub.” The original Hebrew name means “Lord of the flies” and was the name of a Philistine [Palestinian] god. It was a “dung god” . . . a “manure god.” What a wonderful title for Satan: “Lord of the maggots . . . the manure god!” Dead blood draws flies.
GOOD NEWS! The BLOOD of Jesus repulses Satan and his demons. Speak the BLOOD over your home and family. Just as the Israelites applied the BLOOD to their doors so that the death angel would pass over [Exodus 12], so you can apply the BLOOD of Christ over your family and home by speaking it in faith over them.
Declare the BLOOD of Messiah Jesus over your loved ones daily and over all that God has given you by birth, adoption, or assignment!
In case you ever become . . . or have already been . . . a victim of any of these attacks of Satan, and have suffered loss of spiritual or physical dominion, I have again some Good News for you. What has caused you to suffer loss: Sin? Disobedience? Bad decision? Attack from the enemy? Whatever it was, God CAN turn the situation around for you. God WANTS to turn it around for you!
There are FOUR (4) major points to consider for recovering your loss:
1. Realize there is a turning point – a good future. (Remember King David.)
2. Do what God tells you to do. Pray, listen, and obey.
3. Make your past glorify God.
4. Go forward.
OTHER SCRIPTURES RELATED TO RECOVERING YOUR LOSSES
“So I will restore to you the years . . . the locust [the enemy] has eaten. You will eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; My people will never be put to shame.” [Joel 2:25-26]
“As for you also, because of the blood of your covenant, I will set your prisoners free from the waterless pit. Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope. Even today, I declare that I will restore DOUBLE to you.” [ Zechariah 9:11-12]
“Instead of your shame you will have DOUBLE honor, and instead of confusion they will rejoice in their portion. Therefore, in their land they will possess DOUBLE.” [Isaiah 61:7]
“I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they will increase and bear young [be fruitful]; I will make you inhabited as in former times, and do better for you than at your beginnings. Then you will know that I am the LORD.” [Ezekiel 36:11]
“And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before. So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning.” [Job 42:10,12]
YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE A WONDERFUL FUTURE!!!
Remember that ACTION keeps you under the anointing so that you are as a new, sharp threshing instrument. Knowing that the enemy’s KEY INTENTION is to STOP your action, you now have military intelligence as to his plans. Your main focus NOW should be on developing a spirit of excellence in your action. That’s what The University of Excellence is about.
There are SEVEN (7) things you need to cultivate a spirit of excellence:
[1] VISION
Spend time with God. Pray and fast for:
A fresh vision, and,
A prophetic anointing.
[2] DETERMINATION
You need “bulldog” endurance and perseverance. You can’t be a “pansy” and you can’t be a quitter. Be a warrior and remember: “If you don’t quit, you will win!” (But if you quit, you can’t win!)
[3] PRIORITIES
You need to put God’s program FIRST in life. He will show you when you need to spend time for family, for recreation, and for fellowship. At times, He may have you spend LOTS of time on family, recreation, and fellowship. But don’t try to replace God’s Kingdom as your top priority. “You seek first the kingdom of God, and all things will be added unto you.” [Matthew 6:33]
[4] ACCOUNTABILITY
Accountability will give you real liberty. You need to be accountable to:
Jesus, the Great Pastor, and,
Others, in ministry.
[5] REST
You need to rest one day a week. This is God’s plan and is necessary for your overall long-term health and blessing. At times, He may lead you to take extended periods of rest. Always obey Him in these matters. He knows what is best for you . . . and for those to whom you minister. You can’t minister effectively if you’re worn out or burnt out!
“For thus says the LORD God, the Holy One of Israel, In returning and rest you will be saved; in quietness and confidence will be your strength.” [Isaiah 30:15]
Honoring and keeping the Sabbath will also enable you to appropriate the rewards of a spirit of EXCELLENCE: delight, dominion, and desires granted. [Isaiah 58:13-14]
You can’t minister effectively if you’re worn out or burnt out! Here is some help for you: Healing Through Rest.
[6] A HEART FOR GOD
The prophet Samuel said, “the LORD has sought him a man after his own heart,” describing King David. [1 Samuel 13:14] After being anointed, and successful as a king and military leader . . . the champion of the people . . . King David, sinned greatly. Even in the midst of his sin, he had a heart toward God, which caused him to repent. He paid dearly for his sin, but even in the midst of his sin, he loved God and was repentant.
In all his public official conduct he acted according to the Divine mind, and fulfilled the will of his Maker: thus was he a man after God’s own heart. In reference to his private or personal moral conduct, the word is never used.
So what was his problem? Why did David sin? The answer is: He didn’t FEAR God. He loved God, but He didn’t fear Him at the time of his great sin! We need to be not only morally reverent towards God, but also to have a sense of alarm that will keep us from walking off the path of righteousness. We need to think ahead of time about the consequences of our sin and transgression. Our Father in Heaven loves us too much to let us get away with such behavior. There is not much preaching on holiness anymore. We need to LOVE GOD and to FEAR GOD; then we will have a heart for God.
In David’s rulership of the Kingdom, in his official conduct, he fulfilled the will of God; however, in his private life and personal conduct he failed miserably . . . but then repented. This brings to light THREE very important things to consider:
Your actions can bring reproach on God, yourself, your family, your friends, your nation, and your cause.
Your actions can give your enemies occasion to slander you and also mock the God you are supposed to be serving.
Your actions can bring severe judgment upon you and your family.
In the heat of temptation you need to consider these things. Are you willing to pay the price? Do you LOVE God and your family enough to protect them from the results of your sin? Do you FEAR God enough to prohibit you from doing the thing(s) you are considering?
[7] INTEGRITY
Honesty and moral uprightness are the KEY INDICATORS of the God shaped life. The deeper your character . . . the greater your impact! Many things that we question in life, even small things, are a TEST of our integrity. God is constantly testing us to see if we can be entrusted with greater giftings, talents, skills, and responsibilities.
Integrity is a two edged sword. It is an instrument of blessing:
For ourselves —
We must live with ourselves in all good conscience. “For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things. Beloved if our heart condemn us not, then we have confidence toward God.” [1 John 3:20-21] This assures us of answered prayer and provision. “And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.” [Verse 22]
For others —

SECRETS TO GOAL ATTAINMENT
ACTION SPEAKS LOUDER THAN GOALS
~ A MIRACLE PODCAST PRODUCTION ~
Action is the process of doing something to achieve an aim. Actions speak louder than goals because what one does means more than what one plans. Goals are good, but without action they are infertile and sterile . . . they are uninspired and uninventive. I believe in setting goals, and I have taught the importance of goal setting for 50 years. However, there are times in your life and ministry where you will have to FORCE YOUR SELF to take . . . or possibly, maintain . . . action. That is what this podcast teaching is about!
I want you to burn the following scriptures into your mind:
“Be ye strong therefore, and let not your hands be weak: for your work shall be rewarded.” [2 Chronicles 15:7]
“Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.“ [1 Corinthians 15:58]
“And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.” [Galatians 6:9]
There is a time to rest, there is a time to heal, there is a time to reflect, there is a time to regroup . . . however, let God lead you in these times. Be led of the Spirit in these times just as you are in the days of battle. Never quit! As we discuss in the book The Art and Principles of Christian Warfare, we only regroup so that we may advance in battle more powerfully and effectively.
Recently I have been studying the life of King David again. I felt as though I were with him. I almost cried when reading and reflecting upon the consequences of his sin. It is plain to see where David’s problem started:
“And it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle, that David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried still at Jerusalem.” [2 Samuel 11:1]
Lust, adultery, murder, fourfold judgment on his family: these were the results of NOT going to war at the time of year when the other kings went to battle. In this teaching, “Goal Attainment: Actions Speak Louder than Goals,” I am going to help you make sure that NEVER happens in your life.
It is interesting to notice that things turned around for King David after HE turned around. In 2 Samuel 18:1-4 we read that, “David numbered the people that were with him, and set captains of thousands and captains of hundreds over them.” David then split the warriors up into three parts under the leadership of his top three generals, and said to the people, “I will surely go forth with you myself also.” But the people said to him, “You shall not go forth (with us) . . . for you are worth ten thousand of us . . . it is better that you aid us from the city.” And David answered, “What seems best to you I will do.”
Notice that David’s intent was to go to battle with his army; this is what is important: the intent of the heart. He had learned his lesson the hard way. Never stop fighting, at least in the intent of your heart. You must MAINTAIN a “warrior” mentality. You must have spiritual and mental control of the situation at all times. Even in times of “R and R” (rest and recreation) you must maintain a warrior attitude and be listening to God for instructions about the future battle(s).
Your job is to constantly appropriate victory through faith as you listen to and obey the voice of the Spirit for the glory of God.
YOU CAN NOT STOP FIGHTING . . . EVER!
IF YOU DON’T QUIT . . . YOU WILL WIN,
BUT IF YOU QUIT, YOU CAN’T WIN!
This is a message for many of God’s People. Is this YOUR experience? You …
Have not fulfilled your heart’s desires in your life’s calling (including ministry desires);
Are not enjoying your work (including ministry); or,
Have been (or are being) beaten up by the enemy (and, sometimes by God’s children).
Whenever asked about the secret of his success, real estate developer and billionaire, Donald Trump, always answers, “Do what you enjoy!”
It’s true. We must be excited about our work . . . especially Christians and those in God’s work.
The purpose of this teaching is to both CHALLENGE you and HELP you:
Enjoy your work;
Do what you want; and,
Maintain victory so that you can always take action.
Be the person you always wanted to be . . . make it happen!
King Solomon said, “There is nothing better for a man, than that he should eat and drink, and that he should make his soul [enjoy] good in his labor. This also I saw, that it was from the hand of God.” [Ecclesiastes 2:24]
Many people are “stale” and not on the cutting edge because they do NOT enjoy their work. They love God but are lacking the anointing to be a “new sharp threshing instrument.” [Isaiah 41:15] The enemy’s job is to get you discouraged . . . and then to lose your vision.
If this describes you, I have some good news for you. If you will do what I teach you in this message, things will begin to change. Do some fasting, get alone and seek God. Then, in the Spirit, tear down the walls that are limiting you. Take your authority and BELIEVE GOD for the things you once desired! Get back on track. Don’t give up and don’t take LESS than the best! Let me repeat that:
Fast, get alone, seek God;
Tear down the walls that are limiting you;
Take your authority;
Believe God for the things you once desired;
Get back on track;
Don’t give up; and,
Don’t take less than the best!
Remember, if you don’t quit, you’ll win … but if you quit, you can’t win!
There was a movie several years ago titled “Stuck On You“ which starred Matt Damon and Cher. It was about two brothers who were Siamese twins. Finally, the brothers realized they needed to be separated (physically) in order to do what each brother wanted to fulfill in his lifetime. They reached this decision when one brother asked the other, “What is that thing you want to do MOST in the world?” And then he challenged his brother with this admonition: “You have to do it!”
Let me recommend eight (8) steps to take in order to help get you out of your “desensitized spirituality” and into the vortex of God’s anointing:
[1] As much as possible, stop all activity for a while, even ministry.
[2] Get “loose,” relax, and enjoy God.
NOTE: Many times you will be tempted to start a new ministry or outreach right away (while relaxing in your time of rest). That would be like shooting yourself in the foot while you’re walking to the hospital. If God has given you NEW ideas or directives, take skeletal notes (or even copious notes if you feel the necessity). Then store the notes for the future time of implementing the project(s). You will find that, as you’re relaxing in the sunshine of God’s love, an abundance of ideas will come to you.
[3] Take time to dream.
As we studied in the Introductory Module, Albert Einstein, perhaps the greatest mathematician and physicist of the last century, had two (2) major assets:
A childlike questioning character (like a four or five-year-old); and,
An intellectual capacity to think beyond.
In the first part of the book, The Art and Principles of Christian Warfare, I ask the question, “How long has it been since you’ve asked your Heavenly Father some childlike questions?” Questions like:
What can you do to reach every nation and tribe for Messiah Yeshua?
What is the KEY thing you can do that will impact nations the most?
What are new ways to market the Good News?
What are some secrets of the universe that nobody knows?
What do you [God] like about me [yourself] the most?
How long has it been since you:
Discarded all your ideas about how to minister?
Researched new trends and cultural evolutionary movements?
Asked a lost person how they would reach the world for Christ?
Studied the ants?
Studied seeds, climatology, and weather patterns?
[4] Know who you are. Read through the epistles; learn once again WHO you are in Christ and WHAT you have in Christ.
You have to come to the place, once again, where you KNOW the calling and destiny that has been designed for you before the foundation of the world.
True holiness, and also true Biblical prosperity, is to KNOW that you’re working “hand-in-hand” with God to shake nations for Christ.
[5] Meditate.
Find the scriptures (rhema) that speak to you concerning your calling and destiny and dwell on them. Speak them to yourself.
See yourself doing the things involved with your calling and destiny. Image them upon the screen of your mind. See the places and the activities and then THANK God for their fulfillment. Receive them by faith.
Speak,
See,
Thank God,
Receive.
[6] Change your environment (and maybe your friends).
This is why God sent his servants into different areas, sometimes as a result of hard-times. It’s a lot easier if you do it for yourself, with the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Imitational faith, the copying of ministry styles used by others, results in not only lack of creativity, but also “inbreeding” in the Body of Christ. Study more here >>> about Imitational Faith.
Be yourself . . . be original!Don’t be afraid to be different. Study the lifestyles of God’s servants through the centuries: in the Bible, and throughout Christian church history.
[7] Re-evaluate your goals.
Which ones have been accomplished?
Are there any goals that you feel you should scrap for now, or permanently?
Which ones are not accomplished yet? Ask yourself:
Why are they not accomplished?
Where are you in your time line, or schedule, for their fulfillment?
What action will you take to implement them in a timely fashion?
Are there any new goals or projects God wants you to undertake?
If so, do they fit into the general scheme of your other goals?
Are they completely separate from your other goals?
[8] Make your plans fit into God’s plans.
The GREATEST ADVICE I can give you concerning your plans is as follows:
IF YOUR PLANS FIT INTO GOD’S PLANS . . .
YOU WILL HAVE GOD’S FAITH . . .
AND GOD’S FAITH ALWAYS WORKS!
Cry out to God and tell Him you want to be used greatly by Him … that you don’t want to come home to Heaven until you’ve fulfilled, with excellence, your calling and your destiny.
And remember the words of King Solomon: “He that fears God will come forth of them all.”
We are to fear God . . . NOT men, demons, or anything else. The enemy knows that if he can get you to fear anyone or anything other than God, he can cancel your fear of God and thereby void the operation of wisdom in your life . . . at least temporarily until you become aware of what’s happening.
You have to “shut off” the ideas of fear and replace them with IDEAS OF FAITH. Use visual thoughts when you have thoughts of concern. You will eliminate most of Satan’s attacks on your mind. You will also destroy Satanic activity in its tracks!
When you have thoughts of fear, replace them with VISUAL THOUGHTS. So when you have thoughts of fear . . . about your family, your possessions, your health, your ministry . . . replace them with VISUAL THOUGHTS. See the Holy Angels ministering to, blessing and guarding your family, your possessions, your health, and your ministry.
By visualizing your thoughts, you can even add emphasis (power and potency) to them by decreeing them. Use the Holy Angels in your thoughts . . . see them helping you. See the BLOOD of Christ over everything God has given you by birth, adoption, and assignment. To help you with strategies for success and goal attainment in the LORD’s work (or any work whose goal is to help build God’s Kingdom) I recommend the following book: The Art of Christian Warfare: Rules of Engagement.

– 2 Timothy 1:3

Adam Clarke’s Commentary on the Whole Bible on this passage, regarding “trucebreakers” is as follows:
“Truce-breakers – Ασπονδοι· From α, negative, and σπονδη, a libation, because in making treaties libations both of blood and wine were poured out. The word means those who are bound by no promise, held by no engagement, obliged by no oath; persons who readily promise any thing, because they never intend to perform.”
Prince Handley’s commentary on Adam Clarke’s Commentary:
“Those who are bound by no promise, held by no engagement, obliged by no oath; persons who readily promise any thing, because they never intend to perform. But … how much more those that take an oath—commit to a pledge―and then do NOT keep their word?”
I want to talk to you today about a systemic problem in leadership. And, if in leadership … then in the subsrate of every day life from which leadership develops. We have seen recently in political leadership of BOTH major parties in the USA great deception, as well as truce breaking.
Several leaders of one political party of the USA recently struck a pledge—gave their word—that they would support whomever of their party received the nomination … and then went back on their word when they did NOT earn the nomination. Basically they became “cry babies” and went back on their word. They proved their metal: that they are liars and NOT men of their word. And it turned out to be a good thing for the USA that they were not nominated.
In the other main political party of the USA the leading contender has been publicly vilified and proven factually a “liar” by the head of the FBI to have lied to the USA Congress many times.
This is a short BLOG and podcast, but an important one. Basically, it concerns the “tip” of the iceberg. These six things the LORD hates; Indeed, seven are repulsive to Him:
1. A proud look [the attitude that makes one overestimate oneself and discount others].
2. A lying tongue.
3. Hands that shed innocent blood.
4. A heart that creates wicked plans.
5. Feet that run swiftly to evil,
6. A false witness who breathes out lies [even half-truths].
7. And one who spreads discord (rumors) among brothers.
– Proverbs 6;16-19 Amplified Bible (AMP)
So, how is the USA … or any nation … to be a conduit of blessing if its leaders are liars and do not keep their word? There must be―as in the past―a NEW wave of God anointed, Spirit-filled people who rise up from the midst of the populace and say, “Enough is enough.” As in the American Revolution, when people wanted freedom from a tyrannical “insider” system, and as in the revivals of the 1850’s, and the Azusa Street awakening in 1906.
Here is the answer: it is a TWO-Fold plan to make America GREAT again. And very simple!
STEP ONE
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” – 2 Chronicles 7:14
STEP TWO
Agree with me (Prince Handley) in the Name of Jesus (Messiah Yeshua) for the following:

THE BLESSING
YOUR LEGAL RIGHT

I want to help you to accomplish the impossible, to render null and void barriers the enemy would attempt to impose upon you, and to empower you to receive birthings: powerful, new ideas of the Spirit, and then to implement the ideas.
The enemy of all righteousness wants to impose barriers in your life and thereby restrict, as well as constrict, your productivity in the Spirit. These barriers can be mental, physical, demoniacal, and psychological. They can be real or imagined. The enemy may utilize people, demons, lies aimed at your mind, conditions, or relationships. Sometimes these relationships may even involve other believers.
If you know Jesus Christ and are baptized in His wonderful Spirit, you do not have to succumb to these oppositions and attacks. In 50 years of ministry I have found that many Christians are clandestinely held back from their maximum potential by not only a lack of stretching out in faith but also by focusing on the negatives instead of the positives. They are in defensive mode. Just as in sports, the BEST defense is a GOOD OFFENSE!
On the cross, Jesus (Yeshua) became a curse for us that we might receive the blessings of Abraham. Notice, the Messiah of Israel became a curse for us that we might be blessed. He took the curse that originated with Adam in the Garden of Eden. He took ALL curses that are encompassed by that disobedience of our first father: the first man, the first Adam.
The root of ALL curses on Planet Earth originated with the sin of disobedience by Adam in the Garden of Eden when he disobeyed God and obeyed Satan. When Adam did this, he relinquished his rulership of Planet Earth and yielded it to the Evil One. Notice, there is NOT a curse on earth that does NOT originate as a result of that ONE ACT of disobedience!
In Genesis Chapter 3 we read of a prophecy concerning the Seed of the first woman, Eve. Her seed would defeat, destroy, and subjugate the tempter, Satan, who deceived Adam in the Garden of Eden. This prophecy was pertaining to the 2nd Adam, the Son of God, who would come to delete the curse and install the blessing(s) which were already programmed before the foundation of the world: the BLESSINGS originating from GOD.
You were redeemed with the precious BLOOD of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot, who truly was FOREORDAINED BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THE WORLD, but was manifest in these last times for you. The BLESSING was PLANNED FOR YOU before God created the world.
SECRET: The universe was created for Planet earth, and Planet Earth was created for YOU! The ROOT of ALL blessing(s) ON EARTH – and ultimately in Heaven – was purchased by Christ FOR YOU on the cross through His shed BLOOD and thereby deleting the curse. Through His resurrection He installed the blessing.
It was the first man, Adam, who initiated the curse through DISOBEDIENCE to God. It took a man (the God man) to delete the curse through OBEDIENCE to God so that we (mankind) could be BLESSED.
In the window of time between the fall of man in the garden with the resultant CURSE – and the death and resurrection of Christ with the resultant LEGAL installation of the BLESSING – God made a WAY for man to APPROPRIATE His blessing(s). That WAY was the same process by which men, women, and children appropriate God’s blessing(s) today: the WAY of FAITH.
Enoch, Abraham, Sarah, Deborah, Joseph, Moses, Elijah, Elisha, Daniel … and many others … appropriated the blessing(s) through faith. Read Hebrews Chapter 11.
You can make things with your FAITH, my friend. “Without faith it is impossible to please Him.” (Hebrews 11:6) “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things NOT seen.” (Hebrews 11:1) You can CREATE with your faith. Read my book, Faith and Quantum Physics.
In Genesis 12:1-3 God told Abram: And I will make of you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and you shall be a blessing: and I will bless them that bless you, and curse him that curses you; and in you shall all the families of the earth be blessed. Later, in Genesis 22:18 God told Abraham In thy seed shall all nations of the earth be blessed. Because you have obeyed my voice.
The SEED of Abraham (the Messiah Jesus) became a curse FOR US that we might be blessed with faithful Abraham. The SEED (Messiah Jesus) broke ALL the curse(s) … even the ROOT of the curse(s) imposed in the garden of Eden with the resultant sin, death, effects of witchcraft, sins of the father, generational curse(s) … so that ALL people could be FREE from the curse(s) and be recipients of the blessing(s).
Christ (Messiah) has redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for It is written, Cursed is everyone that hangs on a tree, so that the BLESSING of Abraham might come on the non-Jews (Gentiles) through Jesus Christ. (Galatians 3:13-14)
Romans 4:13 tells us The promise that he (Abraham) should be the heir of the world, was NOT to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of FAITH. Just as God works through FAITH, the enemy of your soul works through FEAR. The MIRACLES of God … salvation, healing, power, commissioning … all work through FAITH. The evil of satan … witchcraft, disease, spiritual impotence, confusion … all work through fear.
If you haven’t already, read or listen to the edition titled The Covering. The BLOOD of Christ is your covering. The BLOOD will protect you from the works of the enemy. The BLOOD of Christ is living. The life of God is in THE BLOOD. The enemy can NOT come beyond the blood line. In Revelation 12:11 we read: They overcame him (the devil) by the BLOOD of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they loved not their lives unto the death. If the BLOOD is your covering, you are protected. Speak (declare) the BLOOD over yourself, your family, your property, and everything the Lord has placed in your hands and the domains over which you preside.
A good personal friend of mine, Rachmiel Frydland, who is with the Lord now, went into several Nazi concentration camps during World War II. Rachmiel was Jewish and he would sneak into the camps and declare the Gospel and then sneak back out. He prayed with many of his Jewish brethren who received Yeshua as their Messiah before they were murdered: some the very next day after he was there! One night he slept in a coffin to escape the Nazis. >>> I have placed a link to his testimony at the bottom of these shownotes. <<< I had the privilege to be in his home several times and to have wonderful fellowship with him. Rachmiel knew the importance of the BLOOD of Jesus.
Do not worry about any generational curses or curses from the bloodline of your relatives and forefathers. BREAK THEM with the BLOOD of CHRIST! Do not fear about some witch or someone placing a curse on you … fear is a tool of the enemy. The Holy Bible says, The curse causeless shall NOT come. If you have done something wrong then confess it to God, ask for forgiveness and cover yourself with the HOLY BLOOD of CHRIST.
You are God’s property and the BLOOD of Christ is your COVERING if you will declare it so in faith. Enjoin the blood of the covenant. Instruct THE BLOOD to be applied to yourself and situations BY FAITH. Prohibit the enemy and his people or demons from performing an action against you or your loved ones by your SPOKEN injunction of FAITH. It is a legal injunction purchased by the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross and imposed by your faith. ATTACH The Blood, JOIN The Blood, IMPOSE The Blood to yourself, your loved ones, and your situation.
Request of the Father in Heaven to cover you and your situation with the BLOOD of CHRIST. In the name of Jesus charge verbally the enemy AND his power to be broken off your life and in your situation. It is a direct command with authority. You have the POWER in the name of JESUS to exercise authoritative or dominating control or influence over the devil and his works of darkness. Jesus purchased this power for you, and commissioned you with this apostolic power to go:
1. Preach and teach the Good News;
2. Heal the sick, and
3. Cast out demons.
Be FREE from doubt; believe in the abilities and power the Lord Jesus has purchased for you by His death and resurrection!
You have been granted this power inherently by THE BLESSING from the administrative unit of the throne of Heaven. This is POWER delegated from Heaven to you! The blessings of Abraham are yours. You rule as a king in life through Jesus Christ.

DESCRIPTION OF THIS TEACHING
There are several different reasons WHY you should want to listen to the Holy Spirit. However, the MAIN reason is that the LORD wants to give you a message for direction, protection or enablement. And, sometimes―if not many times―the message will be for someone else.
Some people may NOT be able to listen to―or discern―the voice of the Spirit. Or, they may NOT want to listen to the voice of the Spirit due to rebellion or living in sin. Therefore, the LORD may send you a message via His Spirit to relay to the other person.
In my experience the message is usually given for specific knowledge in an area where help or advice is needed: in my life or in the lives of others.
The principles of God are timeless and transfer … and if we are students of God’s Word and have the knowledge of Proverbs we are able to navigate the problems and challenges of life. But when situations arise that are not clearly and specifically defined―as in ministry strategy or spiritual warfare or dream interpretation―then we need a “specific” word from the LORD.
Many people read the Holy Bible, but they are NOT listening to the Holy Spirit. God wants us to apply His Word to our lives. This is where listening to the Spirit brings success, victory and accurate direction.

DIRECTION AND HELP

INTRODUCTION
“Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth:
for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak:
and he will show you things to come.” – Jesus: John 16:13
One of the Holy Spirit’s assignments is to glorify Christ. When you receive direction, help and enablement, Christ is glorified in your victorious life and testimony thereof: by your word and your lifestyle. The Holy Spirit guides you into ALL truth; spiritual, business, family, prophetic, physical, travel and relational truth.
Many people read the Holy Bible, but they are NOT listening to the Holy Spirit. God wants us to apply His Word to our lives. This is where listening to the Spirit brings success, victory and accurate direction.
As you become attuned―skilled―in listening to the Spirit, you will begin to notice that sometimes shortly after you receive a message you will experience a confirmation. For example, [I recently had this happen] if you receive a message about advice you would give a person, that person may contact you not long after and ask you for advice concerning the same (not knowing that you have already heard from God concerning them or their situation).
EXAMPLES
Sometimes listening to the Holy Spirit will be synonymous with the gift of prophecy. For example, one time after a large seminar I was conducting in Chicago a lady came up to me and said, “I have two wombs …”
I had already finished praying with people and I was really wanting to go to the place where I was to stay and go to bed. When the lady said, “I have two wombs …” my first thought was, “I must have preached past the anointing.” (I wanted to be anywhere but there.) What the lady said in full was this, “I have two wombs. If I conceive in the one womb the life will live, but if I conceive in the other (womb) the life will die. Do you have a word for me?”
Instantly―without thinking about it―I said to her, “You will have a son. He will live, and his name will be Samuel.”
When I was in Chicago about a year later I met little Samuel.
In similar manner, listening to the Spirit may sometimes by synonymous with the Word of Knowledge. For sure―if you operate in the gifts of the Spirit like Prophecy and the Word of Knowledge―you definitely need to be listening to the Holy Spirit. Study my book, How to Receive God’s Power with Gifts of the Spirit.
But there are times that God wants to give you a message for yourself and it may be just for reflection, or to meditate thereon. He may want you to think about what you would do in a certain situation that may be coming up in the future and you do NOT know about it yet―or, the complete details have not dovetailed together yet―and may not for quite some time.
PURPOSE OF LISTENING
You have to realize that God is for you. As in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the motive for listening to the Spirit should be to edify, improve, deliver, make whole or provide intelligence. Thank God, He did not leave us here without the tools and weapons we need to operate in power and victory … and especially as we progress into the End Times.
Realize this: we are at the entrance to the End Times. If the Early Church―or Messianic Synagogue―needed the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the five fold ministries of Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor and Teacher as laid out in Ephesians 4:11, how much more do we need them today? And, how much more will the followers of Messiah Jesus need them as we progress further along into the End Times.
PREREQUISITES TO LISTENING
We need to start our day with the Word of God. We need to be students of the Word of God. “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” (Romans 10:17) So the Word of God is the channel through which the activities of the Holy Spirit operate. When we have the Word of God in us―and operate based upon the Word of God―we hear (from God … from His Spirit). And when we hear from God, faith rises and MIRACLES happen.
But remember also, this is all predicated upon love. “Faith works by love.” (Galatians 5:6)
The Word of God is the channel though which faith flows, and love is the activator which triggers faith.
HOW WILL YOU KNOW
If you are living for God, then give God the benefit of the doubt. I have seen many MIRACLES since I learned to give God the benefit of the doubt. If you’re NOT sure the message is from God, then check to make sure it does NOT conflict with Scripture. If it does NOT conflict with Scripture, then ask God for a confirmation that is clear and concise. NOTE: If you are “seasoned” in listening to the Holy Spirit then you probably won’t require a confirmation.
We should NOT be surprised that the LORD works this way in addition to His many other modes of communication. We read of Him doing this throughout Bible in both the Tanakh (Old Testament) and the Brit Chadashah (New Testament). God has NOT changed. “For I am the LORD; I do not change.” (Malachi 3:6)
It’s people who have not changed that corrupt His program. People who have never seen healing will tell you that God does not heal. People who have never seen miracles will tell you that MIRACLES do not happen anymore. People who do NOT believe in Apostles or Prophets operating today will tell you that those offices ceased after the Early Messianic Synagogue. However, to say that would be to prove ignorance―or, folly―as that would mean that the Scripture in Ephesian 4:11 has been rescinded: “And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers.” No more pastors, teachers and evangelists either!
GOD WANTS TO COMMUNICATE
Also, realize that the LORD wants to communicate with people more than we do. And, He does NOT want his messages of direction and help to be cryptic or hard to understand. It amazes me how many people have never read the Holy Bible completely. Here’s the greatest communication to mankind and they treat it like a magazine. My friend, get the Word inside you and YOU will begin to hear God. Start your day with it and end your day with it. I made a rule for my life years ago: “No Bible … no breakfast.”
The day is coming when the world government and the world religious system will destroy Bibles … including YOURS if you’re still here. Then YOU will need to listen to the Spirit … and it may be too late.
The Holy Spirit will guide you into ALL truth as you listen to Him.

Rabbi Yeshua (Jesus) very plainly said that those who continue in His Word are truly His disciples (talmidim). JESUS IS YOUR ROLE MODEL
Two-thirds of Jesus’ ministry was concerned with―or directed at―healing.
“And it came to pass also on another Sabbath, that He entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.
And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on Sabbath; that they might find an accusation against him.
But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, ‘Rise up, and stand forth in the midst.’ And he arose and stood forth.
Then said Jesus unto the religious leaders, ‘I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on Sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?’
And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, ‘Stretch forth your hand.’ And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
And the religious leaders were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.” (Brit Chadashah: Luke 6:6-11)
Jesus could well have asked them, “Why are you so angry with me?” Why do you think the religious leaders were angry with Jesus? Here may be some reasons:
They were jealous of Him. (They had NO power … only control of people.)
He was drawing away their followers.
He was shining the light on their superficiality.
JESUS STILL WORKS TODAY
Several times in the past I have been invited to speak in public high schools in Southern California USA. Even though public prayer and Bible reading were banned years ago, the drug problem was so bad in these schools that they knew Jesus could help them. In every public high school where I spoke, the Gifts of the Holy Spirit operated through me. In EVERY high school the LORD would show me a student (that I did NOT know) and a situation in their body. Then, I would call them forward and share with them what the LORD had told me about them. I would pray for them … and EVERY time they would be instantly healed.
One time a denominational pastor called me on the phone after I had been on a campus where the LORD had healed and saved a girl that previously had been the biggest “bad-mouth” against Jesus on that campus. He said, “We have worked for years on that campus trying to gain a foothold … and you come in and cause “commotion.” I asked him politely, “If you mean by ‘commotion’ that students were praying to receive Christ after a girl was healed and saved, then I guess I am guilty.”
It wasn’t one week later when I received another invitation to come to a High School in Orange County to speak. Right before I left to drive to the school I called that denominational pastor and told him, “I received another invitation to speak at a public high school a few days ago. I am just leaving to go there, and I wanted to ask you if it is OK to heal on the Sabbath?!” Then I hung up. He never bothered me again.
JESUS HAS PRECEPTS
Today we see many large churches. Does this mean the sheep are being fed, or does it mean they are being fed but NOT nutritious food. Lots of restaurants cater to large crowds but does that mean the food is nutritious? Large churches (mega churches) are NOT necessarily a sign of productive ministry in the eyes of the LORD.
To be a productive church the shepherd leader must attempt to form and lead a POWER church: a real New Testament church. Programs and cell groups mean nothing if people are not being instructed in the ministry precepts of Jesus. WHAT are those precepts? Let’s look at what Jesus instructed His followers to do:
1. Preach and teach;
2. Heal the sick; and,
3. Cast out demons.
Also, let’s look at the Great Commission:” … teaching them to observe ALL things whatsoever I have commanded you …” (Matthew 28:20) Pastors that do NOT minister healing and the Baptism in the Holy Spirit are cheating their flock out of 67 percent of the ministry of Jesus. They are omitting 2 out of 3 parts of Jesus’ ministry. They preach and teach but they are NOT serving healing or deliverance―#2 and #3 shown above―to their people. This is corruption. It is stealing … it is cheating God’s people AND the people who could be saved by witnessing the healing and miracle power of God.
Why do they do this? Usually because they do NOT believe in healing. Or, they will tell you, “I believe Jesus can heal,” or, “We have had people healed.” However, the TRUTH may be that they do NOT know HOW to minister healing so they dismiss it. That is, they either do NOT believe Jesus will heal, or they do NOT have the faith to pray or believe for healing. The same applies to MIRACLES … real miracles! The truth is: to minister healing and deliverance they need the Baptism in the Holy Spirit.
Healing ministry should be a part of all church worship services, or at least one service a week designated for healing. But what about people who are sick, diseased, bound, or afflicted who come to ANY service in need of healing, deliverance, or prayer? The same applies to the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and instruction concerning it.
CONTINUE IN HIS WORD
“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him,
‘If you continue in my word, then you are my disciples indeed.’”
‒ John 8:31
I recently told a man who is struggling in his walk with the LORD, “Do me a favor: Don’t get religious … just follow Jesus!” The only Bible instruction he is receiving is one time a week at the church he attends where he is told from the pulpit to write in three (3) words in an outline from the pastor’s sermon. I explained to him that he needs to study―and learn―the Holy Bible if he wants to grow strong … for himself and for the LORD.
Now … what are your ministry gifts (for others) from the LORD? Are you a writer? A pastor? A prophet? A film editor? And … you may have a combination of gifts with which the LORD has enabled you. However, whatever your gifting(s) you are to have as a primary goal the making of disciples.
By God’s grace, I have been involved developing disciples for over 50 years. It is a blessing to SEE what the LORD accomplishes through people who are yielded to and love Him. From ALL backgrounds of society and culture and education (or, lack of it) I have seen God do amazing things. This is what He promised: “Truly, truly, I say unto you, He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.” (John 14:12)
MAKE DISCIPLES FOR JESUS
However, I have never known a person to be a greatly used disciple that was NOT a student of the Holy Bible and that was NOT reading God’s Word daily. We never get too old―or too experienced―that we do NOT need to spend time in God’s Word every day.
When we first started the Free Bible Studies by Mail, we kept a record of progress of each student. You could visually see in a file box of 3 x 5 index cards the commitment of students (the diligence of disciples). More completed the Intro Lesson, and progressively less for each lesson completed. But … praise God for those who were diligent and completed the whole course. One Catholic Nun from New York completed the whole course and flew to visit me in California. She later wrote me that she was training a group of 1,500 people about Jesus, about the Holy Spirit and about how to operate in the gifts of the Spirit.
Another young man I had the privilege of “pouring into” personally prayed with over 170,000 people to receive Christ … PLUS trained many others to do personal evangelism. (See link at bottom for his Anointed Soul Winning Plan.) Remember, AFTER people know the LORD, they need to GROW in the LORD. This is WHAT Jesus commanded us to do: make disciples.

CHALLENGE
My challenge to you is this:
Pray that the LORD leads you to people who WANT to be discipled …
those who WANT to learn God’s Word … and GROW and SERVE the LORD.

Almost every day I am discipling people. These are in addition to those I have ordained into the ministry … and in addition to the various ministries the LORD has assigned me. We have so many tools available to us: texting, social media, blogs and podcasts. Remember, when this life is over it will be too late. Let’s impact the world while we’re here.

THE PASSOVER – PART 7 OF 7 – CONCLUSION
One more thing you will find in every Jewish home at the Passover table is an EMPTY chair, some unleavened bread, and a cup of wine. But, no one uses the chair, touches the plate, or drinks from the wine. The question may be asked, “For whom is the chair, the plate, and the cup waiting?” The answer would be, “The chair, the plate, and the cup are waiting for Elijah, or the Coming One.” For every Jew is eagerly awaiting for Elijah that night, who is to announce and usher in the coming of the Messiah. [Malachi 4:5-6]
Just before the close of the Passover supper, which lasts until midnight, the oldest child arises from the table, goes to the door, and opens it for Elijah to make his entrance. There is a moment of expectancy, and the head of the house recites: “Thou God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. Long have we waited for your promise. We beseech you now to send your anointed, whom You have promised, the Son of David. Have mercy upon your people Israel. Gather us according to your Word and we shall be Your people and You will delight in us as of old. Behold all things are ready and we wait.”
After a few minutes of waiting, the door is closed, and the head of the house recites: “How long, oh LORD, how long? Will Your anger not be turned away from Your people and will You have mercy and restore us to Your favor? Behold our suffering! We are scattered among the nations. They mock us, saying, ‘Where is your God? Where is the promise of His coming?’ We grow faint, yet we hope. Lord, our God, may it please You to gather Your people speedily, restore us to Your favor, at least next year may we celebrate this feast with you in Jerusalem, Your own habitation.”
It is a sad thing that many Jewish people should still be waiting, not knowing that Yeshua, their Messiah, has already come. Just as the Jewish apostles went out into all the world telling the goyim (the gentiles) the Good News of salvation, so you and I are to tell the Jewish people today the story of Jesus and His love: that He came 2000 years ago as the true PASSOVER LAMB, to redeem us with His BLOOD. Although the Lord Jesus asks us (rather, commanded us) to do this, very few believers in Jesus obey His command.
I preached in a large mission in Philadelphia which was run by a wonderful Jewish brother named Abraham Mazer. One day a Jewish woman came to a certain mission to hear what the Jewish believer had to say. It was Passover time and he told his people that Messiah had come and given His precious BLOOD for the salvation of both Jews and Gentiles. The woman left the mission before the service was over, but a few days later the Jewish brother learned who the woman was and where she lived. He went to see her and told her that Yeshua was our Passover lamb, giving His life for the sins of the whole world.
The woman then told Jewish man that she had had such good son. Her son loved her so much and all he wanted was to make his poor mother happy. Her son had been out of work for a long time. When he was finally called to come to work at a department store, he did not have enough clothes to dress warmly for the job. It was winter and he took a cold; a few days later developed pneumonia and died. Tears were streaming down her face as she said to the Jewish believer, “Why didn’t you come before? My son would have believed, he was such a son!”
Millions of Jewish graves are saying to you and to me, “Why didn’t you come before?!”

THE PASSOVER – PART 6 OF 7
Because the Apostle Paul (Rabbi Shaul) wrote: “Messiah our Passover is sacrificed for us,” there was no more need to kill a Passover lamb. Yeshua HaMashiach (Jesus the Anointed One) was “the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world”. To ever remember His great sacrifice, the early followers of Messiah put the shinbone upon the Passover table. They used the unbroken shinbone because it was also written of Him, “no bone of His shall be broken.” The little piece of matzo hidden away on a high shelf was to the early Jewish Messianic believers a picture and remembrance of Messiah’s ascension into Heaven; bringing it down the next year reminded them of the promise of His coming again.
The use of the wine also comes from the Jewish believers in Messiah Yeshua. It is essential for the Passover because Jesus took the cup, gave thanks and gave it to the disciples. The wine must be red, resembling blood, because Jesus said: “This is my blood of the New Testament, shed for many for the remission of sins.” And everyone must partake of it because Jesus said: “Drink you ALL, of it.”
And what about this mysterious word “APHIKOMEN“? This is not a Hebrew word; rather it is a Greek word and reads exactly as the Jewish people pronounce it. What is the meaning of this mysterious word “Aphikomen?” It looks like a Greek word. Most scholars are agreed that it is, but different opinions exist as to its meaning. Some say it comes from “Epikomos” and means “dessert”. But that does not seem to be correct, since a great deal of violence had to be perpetrated on the word “Epikomos” in order to turn it into “Aphikomen.” But there is another Greek word, which gives a full and satisfactory explanation, and where etymological violence is not at all necessary to give it meaning. It reads exactly as our Aphikomen. What does it mean? According to the Greek lexicon it means, “I CAME.”
Who came? The One, obviously, whom the broken Matzo represents, namely, the Lord Yeshua, the True Pesach! [1]

Imagine the setting that night in the upper room when Yeshua Himself was participating in the Passover, the very ceremony that prophesied His death! The One whom the Passover had promised to every age of believers was keeping the feast himself and the next day he would keep it literally: not with symbols … but with His body on the cross-stake! His blood for men’s souls instead of the blood on the doorposts.
Jesus was … and still is … saying: “The Angel of Death who spared the Children of Israel because He saw the blood of the lamb on the doors of their houses, will spare you from eternal death because he will see My BLOOD on the doors of your hearts though faith! As your fathers were delivered from the bondage of Egypt, so you will be delivered from the bondage of sin.”
It is interesting how the “Lord’s Supper” became the core of the Jewish Passover. The first Messianic believers were almost all Jews in the early days of the Christian era. Every one of the first disciples of Yeshua was Jewish, with the possible exception of Luke. It has been estimated that almost 1,000,000 Jews became followers of the Lord Jesus in the first century AD.
The old time synagogue in the first century accepted the Messianic Jew (the followers of Jesus). In the makeup of the synagogue in those days there were Pharisees, Sadducees, Hellenists, Essenes, and many other groups of Jewish belief systems. So when large numbers of Jews began to accept Yeshua as Messiah, they were still allowed to stay in the synagogue. They were known as Nazarenes, and were given respect and attention.
Now while the other Jews celebrated the Passover as instituted by Moses, Jewish believers in Messiah celebrated the same occasion with bread and wine, depicting in the observance the suffering, death and resurrection of the Lord. There were TWO (2) KINDS of Passover being celebrated, and as more and more Jews became followers of Messiah, there were more and more Jews who kept the Passover the NEW way: the way it is observed today!!
With the destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple in AD 70, the Old Testament Passover as commanded by Moses ceased. The only Passover observance, which survived within the Jewish nation, was that of the Messianic Hebrew followers of Jesus. The Messianic Passover, therefore, became the celebration of ALL Israel: the MAIN features of which were the bread (matzo cakes) and the wine.
Every year during the Passover Seder, when the Jews partake of the bread (matzo) and the wine, they are unconsciously celebrating the fact that Messiah’s body was broken for them, His blood shed for them, and that He is going to return to set up His Kingdom where He will celebrate with us the Passover!

It must be evident to you now that the description of the Passover service mentioned in Parts 1 thru 4 of this study are NOT mentioned in the Passover instructions recorded for us by Moses in Exodus Chapter 12. In this story there is NO mention of wine, or four (4) special glasses of wine, or an egg. Instead of a dry shinbone, the main feature of the original Jewish Passover was the roast lamb. And certainly there is no mention of three (3) special unleavened cakes and the ceremony of burying or hiding away half of the middle cake and bringing it forth at the end of the feast.
This marks a radical change from the feast initiated by Moses. When and how did this change come about? Nowhere in the writings of Moses, nor in those of the Rabbis during the 1500 years that followed the days of Moses, is there any question of wine as being necessary for the keeping of the Passover, or that it MUST BE RED! This presents three (3) QUESTIONS:
- Who substituted the bread for the Passover lamb?
- Who made the wine an essential part, and why should it be RED like BLOOD? And;
- Why does the Jew today – while eating of the middle cake called APHIKOMEN – believe that he is eating the Passover lamb?
Although the Jewish people do not realize it, the origin of the use of the bread comes from the Brit Chadashah (the New Testament). The Jewish followers of Messiah made the change during the immediate years after the Lord’s resurrection. It is because the Lord Jesus took bread and said: “This is my body.” It is He who gave His disciples bread and told them, as they were eating it, to believe that they were eating the sacrifice of the Passover.
The half piece of cake called APHIKOMEN is wrapped in a cloth and hidden, because when Jesus died on the cross His disciples took His body down, wrapped it in grave clothes and placed it in the tomb. The APHIKOMEN is later brought forth from its hiding place because on the third day God raised Jesus from the grave.
The APHIKOMEN is eaten as the last act of the Passover feast because the institution of the Lord’s supper took place at the close of the meal in the upper room in Jerusalem. The members of the family share it because the followers of Messiah were regarded as the family of God. Jesus (Yeshua) is the bread of life to all that believe in Him!
Every single act done to the middle cake by the Jewish people today is descriptive of what happened to the Lord Jesus. It is therefore He whom the APHIKOMEN represents. And all the three (3) cakes are really symbolic of the Holy Trinity, the threefold revelation of the Godhead: God, the Father and Creator … God, the Savior or redeemer … and God, the Holy Spirit. The middle cake, which represents the Lord Jesus (Yeshua, the Messiah), is the one that is broken. He was broken and He was crucified.
Notice, also, the fashion of the Passover cakes: with the stripes and holes pierced in them. There was NO New Testament during the early church years, and only a few copies of the TANAKH (Old Testament Hebrew scriptures) in the hands of the leaders. The early followers of Messiah wanted to impress and perpetuate the story of Messiah Yeshua for their children and children’s children … and generations to follow. They wanted to teach them that Yeshua HaMashiach was the One Who fulfilled Isaiah 53: “Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows; yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.”
