The other day I was reading some ministry results of a wonderful brother in Messiah. My first thought was, “God is using him so mightily . . . he is reaching so many people for Messiah!” And . . . he has NO synagogue or church support.

Like most of us in God’s work, he was one of the most unlikely prospects for God to use. Like you, and like me, people never guessed he would one day become a believer in Yeshua! When I reflected upon how God is using him, I thought, “What a great reward he will have in Heaven!”

I thought, “God, he is doing so much for You.” After a while the Lord prompted me, and The Holy Spirit reminded me that I was blessed to have part in his Christian growth; and to help disciple him to become a powerful follower of Yeshua. He took our Free Bible Studies course and we corresponded and communicated at times.

That is exactly what I shared in The Apostles Newsletter a few weeks ago: the disciples you teach should be used more greatly than you are. They should be disciples of MESSIAH and NOT disciples of men … IF you are doing your job right.

At the University of Excellence, of which I am President and Regent, we study five (5) secrets of military strategy for the accomplishment … and the continuance … of successful mission:

• Vision to reach the world for Messiah.

• Logistics and starting new synagogues and churches.

• Anointing of multiplication.

• Mission parameters.

• Resurrection and a new vision

VISION TO REACH THE WORLD FOR CHRIST

I want to teach you something that will help you win the world for Christ!

If you could win 1,000 people to Messiah every day, how long do you think it would take to evangelize the whole world? At this time, the population of the world is about six (6) billion people. It would take you 16,427 years to reach every person (even at 1,000 every day!).

However, if you would lead only one person each year to Christ, and would really train them, here’s what would happen:

At the end of one year there would be two of you to take the “Good News” to others. If each of you would lead one person to Christ that next year, there would be four of you at the end of the second year to go tell the “Good News”. At this rate, it would only take you a little over 32 years to reach the rest of the world! (Even if the population increases to 8.5 billion, it would take only one extra year, or 33 years.)

This is why Jesus said, “Go, then to all peoples of the world and make them my disciples: baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, and teach them to obey everything I have commanded you. And remember! I will be with you always, to the end of the age.”

Now, here’s how to train a disciple: Ask God to lead you to someone who really wants to grow in the Lord (it may be someone you lead to Christ or someone who already knows Jesus.) Take them “under your wing” (like a bird does her babies) and pour your life, as well as the Word of God, into them.

You will have to “live” the life you are teaching about. Take them preaching on the streets or witnessing at the market with you. Teach them how to lead others to Christ, and to baptize them in water. Their training may last from one week, or until Jesus comes back!

Sometimes you may want to train more than one person at a time. However, never get so busy that you do not have time to spend with each person privately. When a person you are training starts training others for Christ (it may be the first week), then spend some time for “feedback”. That is, let that person discuss with you about the people they are training: get “feedback” about progress or problems, and try to answer their questions. Pray with them!

Be sure to tell the people you are teaching that Jesus said, “The field is the world!” Not just their village or city: but every nation, tribe, tongue, and dialect. Pray that God will send out workers to the nations … and be willing to go yourself. Teach them to do the same.

Obtain a map of the world (and of your country). Lay your hands on the different countries and cities and pray for them. Ask God:

To pour out the Holy Spirit on them;

To send out Christian workers to them; and,

To raise up “Spirit-filled” churches in them and all over the world.

While praying for cities and nations, always “bind” the devil and his demons and cast them out in Jesus’ name. Then, “loose” the Holy Spirit into the cities and nations! Jesus said, “Teach them to obey everything I have commanded you.” This includes his teaching about love, repentance, healing, forgiveness, casting out demons, prayer, baptism in the Holy Spirit, and our “one-ness” with other believers in Jesus.

Some of the people you train may be from other countries (students or visitors). Or, some of those you train may someday go to other countries to study, tour, or work. They will then be able to preach the Gospel there. This is another way you will be reaching nations!

Finally, teach the ones you are training to teach the people they teach “to teach others.” (Notice the four groups, or “families,” of disciples in 2 Timothy 2:2.) The first family is YOU: you are a disciple, or a “follower,” of Christ. The next family is the person you are teaching to be a “follower” of Christ. Notice something very important: the four families are NOT your disciples, they are Christ’s!

Read this message again, and again, and again. There are “seven keys” to help YOU win the world for Christ!

LOGISTICS AND STARTING NEW SYNAGOGUES AND CHURCHES

The provision and supply necessary for ongoing ministry growth will come about as new synagogues and churches are raised up. After the process of true biblical discipleship – making disciples of Messiah and NOT of men – is established, along with a vision of reaching the world for Messiah, the next step is to establish synagogues or churches. The people, the money, the resources for current and subsequent ministry to the community and the world will emanate from the local synagogues or churches established. Tithes and offerings will help in material and financial support. Each leader must be honest and ethical in their allocation of resources, and thereby be an example for those to whom they serve.

There are basically three (3) ways to start synagogues and churches:

1. Start cell groups, OR house churches;

2. Visit neighborhoods;

3. Hold public miracle and healing meetings.

START CELL GROUPS

Start cell groups, or home Bible studies, from an existing church. They will then be centers in each neighborhood or community for people to come for Bible study and prayer, and from which new churches can be raised up.

VISIT NEIGHBORHOODS AND BARRIOS

Visit the surrounding neighborhood. This is the probably the most effective and can also be used in conjunction with a cell group. Get people interested in the vision God has given you. Meet together for prayer, fellowship, and Bible study.

Win souls in the neighborhood or local community where you will have your synagogue or church – START there first! Visit and pray for the sick. Baptize converts and then TRAIN them:

• To win others.

• To study the Scriptures.

• To fast and pray.

• To tithe and give offerings.

• To follow the principles described above in “Vision To reach the World for Christ.”

Impart a vision of the world. Teach them to enjoy Messiah Jesus and their work with Him!!!

Pray daily for God to:

• Open the hearts of people;

• Pour out His Spirit upon the area where you are (or will be)working for Him; and,

• Lead you to people who are seeking for God and His salvation.

Look for needs to meet:

• In people;

• In the community; and,

• In the government.

Go door-to-door within a reasonable distance of the synagogue or church you’re starting and ask people if there is anything for which they would like you to pray. Tell them you’re meeting in about an hour at a certain location (give them the address). Go back in a week and follow up on them. Note: they may also have sick people in the house that they want you to pray for.

Tell people: “If you can find 10 other families who want to start a church, then organize a meeting in your home (or one of their homes) and invite these other 10 families. I will then come and tell them about the church we’re starting. At the same time, we will minister to the people’s needs, if they desire. Expect miracles!”

WARNING:

Never go to be a new head rabbi at a synagogue or pastor a church that someone else started unless the people at large give you complete control before you start. You will just be taking over someone else’s problems! Also, when miracles start the previous leaders will become jealous. Start NEW WORKS where the anointing is honored and God can get the glory!!

Here’s a testimony from a Pastor and General Overseer who followed the instruction described above for starting new churches. “The lessons and the questions are the best I have had in my life, especially since I started preaching the Gospel under the power of the Holy Spirit. Please help me to learn more and be a better worker for the Lord. With the lesson well studied, God has started blessing the work here. Prayer cells have sprung up in all places. God is adding souls to His kingdom.” [Bishop Harrison]

Do diligence to follow the steps in this lesson like Bishop Harrison and God will do MIRACLES for you!

HOLD PUBLIC MIRACLE AND HEALING MEETINGS

There is probably no more effective way to start a new synagogue or church, especially in unevangelized areas, than by means of public meetings: both indoors and outdoors. Here is a proven and successful format for holding such meetings:

1. Start each meeting with 30 minutes of singing and “selected” testimony.

2. Preach 20 to 40 minutes.

3. Begin message by announcing: “We are going to pray in a few minutes and God is going to heal the sick.”

4. During the message, tell the people WHO Jesus is and WHAT He did. Tell them:

“I wouldn’t ask you to believe in a dead god! Jesus Christ is ALIVE!”

“Since Jesus is alive, He will do what He did when He lived on earth before!”

“If He does – and heals you – will you serve Him the rest of your life?”

(Before you pray) “If Jesus heals you, how many will come up and tell of it?”

5. After the message, pray for the sick to be healed. Do NOT go out into the crowd and do NOT pray for individuals at this time, but pray for the crowd “as a whole” from the place where you have been preaching. (Let God do His work!)

6. (During prayer) Tell the people, “Now, begin to praise God for healing you.”

7. (After prayer) Tell the people, “Now do what you couldn’t do before.”

8. Ask for those who have been healed to come and testify. Make sure you have workers who are trained to examine testimonies.

Eliminate those testimonies which aren’t for real or don’t glorify Christ. Train the workers to bring to the front at once ONLY miracles of healing. Also, make sure you have workers who are trained in crowd control.

Don’t let the devil bring confusion to your meeting at this point.

NOTES:

A) The first day of the meeting let God heal a few. Then go out to the neighborhood or villages and tell them what God has been doing; invite them into the meetings.

B) The second day of the meetings, and thereafter, pray for specific cases, such as the deaf and blind, as God leads. You may want certain cases to come to the platform for prayer (where you are ministering). This way the crowd can see the miracles. Do ONLY what the Spirit says and finish when He tells you to!

C) Always meet with your workers before the meeting. Review the previous days meeting and pray for the current one. Ask God for the anointing of the Holy Spirit and pray for unity.

D) Establish a synagogue or church from the new believers (baptize them). Make plans to teach them regularly and to train them.

ANOINTING OF MULTIPLICATION

Lay hands on and pray over EVERYTHING and EVERYONE you send out or produce: ministers and workers; DVD’s, literature; podcasts, social media postings (MySpace, Twittter, etc.), YouTube videos, films; mp3 files; websites, prayer cloths. Ask God to put His power on them. Ask God for the “apostolic power of Christ” to invade the earth through them. Pray for MIRACLES to magnify Christ.

Pray for people to be saved, healed, delivered, baptized in the Spirit, prospered, and sent out to do the work of Messiah Yeshua. Ask God to raise up a great Holy Spirit synagogue or church in every village and neighborhood of the earth … and a great Holy Spirit witness in every house, home, or family of the earth through the WORK and the PEOPLE you send out! Believe!!

Thirty (30) years ago I asked God for a confirmation about a piece of literature I had written and was to be sending out. It was Lesson Four, “How To Receive the Power of God” in the Free Bible Studies course. I wanted God to show me if I should include this lesson in the series and I received three (3) confirmations within about one week.

The very first person who received that lesson was baptized in the Holy Spirit the day they received it in the mail. Then a Jew wrote from New York and said, “You wouldn’t believe what came out of my mouth when Jesus baptized me in the Holy Spirit” (as a result of the lesson). Thirdly, another man wrote saying that as soon as he took his lesson out of the envelope he read one sentence and was knocked down by a strange force and another language came out of his mouth.

“Believe! All things are possible to him that believes.” [Mark 9:23]

If you are not available to lay hands on the materials – or the people – then commission others to do it. Lay your hands on them and pray over them so the apostolic power of Christ will flow through them. At times, when I have not been able to be present for an ordination service in a distant place, God would instruct me to send a prayer cloth over which I had prayed, and to have the prayer cloth laid on the minister.

If the Holy Spirit can supply the resurrection power of Christ to heal in this manner (Acts 19:11-12), then He surely can impart the gifts of the Spirit and enablement for ministry in the same manner. These should be “special” cases, however, because the normal Scriptural pattern would be to personally lay hands on those being ordained and sent out.

Ask God for ‘an anointing of multiplication’! The kingdom of Heaven is like leaven (or, yeast): it grows and spreads. Yeshua (Jesus) still multiplies bread, and He can multiply the work, the workers, and the Word of God!

MISSION PARAMETERS

Be led by the Spirit of God! Follow the plain teachings of Jesus. Preach and teach the simple Gospel, apart from which there is no other gospel [1 Corinthians 15:1-5]. Obey the commission of Jesus in Matthew 28 and Mark 16. Adhere to the “Apostles’ Creed”. Use the pastoral writings of Paul and Peter and John as examples for church order and discipline and obey the Word of God as revealed in the Holy Bible.

A three-fold cord is not easily broken. Buildings designed in triangulation or with three-sided segments are stronger. Jesus sent out his apostles to:

1. Preach and teach;

2. Heal; and

3. Cast out demons.

Whether you are involved in ministry to governments, to the homeless, to the military … on television or the Internet … keep your ministry “triangulated” in balance with Jesus’ authority that he gave you: to preach; to heal; and, to cast out demons!

Then you won’t have to worry about false doctrines . . . because no one can copy the works God is doing through you. The Lord will confirm the Word of God you preach with signs following . . .and people who are really seeking God will come to the TRUTH! The cults have all have at least one of the three errors (if not all three!).

The cults and false religions teach:

1. Jesus was NOT God in human flesh;

2. You can work your way to Heaven;

3. Hell is not real (or, if it is, it only lasts for a short period).

No false teaching in the world can do all three … present the Good News, heal the sick, and cast out demons! Especially like you are doing when you’re anointed with LOVE! False teaching is usually “lop-sided” with emphasis on either of two large errors: either you’re saved by your works only; or you can sin all you want to and get away with it!

“Faith without works is dead.” [James 2:14-26]

“For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which works by love.” [Galatians 5:6]

RESURRECTION AND A NEW VISION

If you are used in creative, powerful, and productive works by God then I have a warning for you. Just about the time you put the “stamp” on your ministry and declare “Mission Accomplished” there will come a time of discouragement. It is nothing more than a demonic attack assigned by Satan to discourage you, to get you to slow down, to get you to lose excitement, to get you to think you can’t do any more great works, and to get you to quit!

Immediately after the victory for which you have fought, prayed, and believed in faith, will subtly appear one of your most dangerous attacks from the enemy. It will NOT be like the attack(s) BEFORE your conquest: to discourage you, to make you afraid, to cause loss of integrity, loss of a loved one, or loss of possessions. All of which attacks you can defeat . . . and withstand . . . by living holy and living a life of faith and trust in God.

But this attack will be so delicate or precise as to be difficult to analyze or describe. You will not be capable, without discernment from God, of making fine distinctions as to the source of the attack. It will be covert and delicately complex. There will be put in place clever and indirect means by the enemy to achieve your downfall: spiritually, socially, materially, physically, and mentally . . . in that order.

This two-part newsletter was written to instruct you as to how to offset this kind of attack, and to guard against it; also, to augment and solidify your recent victory, and to go on to higher and more productive accomplishments.

King Solomon tells us in the Book of Ecclesiastes that a threefold cord is not easily broken. (Ecclesiastes 4:12) There are three things you can do to assure your maintenance of the victory and your own personal integrity. They are as follows:

1. Guard Against Pride

2. Monitor the Victory

3.  Plan for the Future

After your victory is the time the enemy will do his best to allure you with:

• Fame;

• Fortune;

• Lust; and,

• Deception of any kind

Don’t let your guard down! You are at your weakest point of defense right after your victory:

• Rest;

• Stay under the anointing;

• Plan, stretch out in faith; and,

• Start implementing your plans for the NEXT victory. It may be related to the harvest of your present (recent) victory.

Rest for a short period. Use this time to reflect and give thanks to God, and those people who assisted you, for the victory. Pray God’s blessing on those who assisted you!

Stay in the Word of God and prayer. Stay under the anointing. Use this period of rest to listen to God for the “skeletal” outline of your NEXT project. Receive your plans from the Spirit. Praise and thank Him in faith for the next victory!

Don’t wait for everything to be perfect before you implement your next assignment. Don’t wait until all the conditions are right before you start. Count the cost, but use faith. You can refine after you implement.

God is getting ready to use you MORE GREATLY than ever before! He has given you the “eye of the tiger” . . . you will never be taken captive by the enemy. You will be stronger and more productive for the kingdom of God. The Master will say to you: “Well done, thou good and faithful servant; enter into the joy of the Lord.”

THE POWER OF A SEPARATED LIFE

After I became a follower of Messiah Yeshua I committed quality time to memorizing scripture. One of the key Bible portions I memorized was as follows:

“Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? And, what communion has light with darkness?

Wherefore come out from among them, and you be separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

And I will be a Father unto you, and you shall be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.” [Brit Chadashah: 2 Corinthians 6:14, 17-18]

I didn’t have to leave my friends when I became a believer; they left me! When my lifestyle became different and my interests were focused in Godly avenues, there was no common ground. However, I still talked to my friends about the Lord, and prayed for them, and loved them with Messiah’s compassion. Thankfully, many of them are now followers of Yeshua who serve the Lord, including my immediate birth family, uncles, aunts, cousins . . . and now all of my children and grandchildren.

What a beautiful promise! God will be a Father to us: He will protect us, provide for us, and be personal in His relationship to us. Do you want to have a REALLY CLOSE walk with the Lord? Then learn and practice the beauty of a separated life.

In this teaching we will study the PURPOSE, the PRIVILEGE, the PROTECTION, and the PRODUCTIVITY of a separated life.

THE PURPOSE OF A SEPARATED LIFE

Why live a separated life?

“As obedient children, not fashioning yourselves according to the former lusts in your ignorance: But as He which has called you is holy, so you be holy in all manner of behavior; because it is written, ‘You be holy, for I am holy’.” [Leviticus 11:45; 1 Peter 1:15-16]

THE PRIVILEGE OF SEPARATION

Why is it a privilege to live a separated life?

“For as much as you know that you were not redeemed with corruptible things, like silver and gold, from your vain manner of living which you received by tradition from your fathers; but you were redeemed with the precious blood of Messiah, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: who truly was foreordained BEFORE the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for YOU.” [1 Peter 1:18-20]

“According as He has CHOSEN us in Him BEFORE the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love.” [Ephesians 1:4]

THE PROTECTION OF SEPARATION

Living a separated life of holiness unto the Lord provides extra angelic protection for the believer.

“The angel of the Lord encamps around those that fear Him and delivers them.” [Psalm 34:7]

“Because you have made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the Most High, your habitation; there shall no evil befall you, neither shall any plague come near your dwelling. For He shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways.” [Psalm 91:9-11 - read the whole Psalm]

“And he answered, fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them. And Elisha prayed, and said, Lord, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the Lord opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire round about Elisha.” [2 Kings 6:16-17]

Other examples: Daniel in the den of lions and the three Hebrew teenagers in the furnace of fire. These were Hebrews, who as teenagers had separated themselves unto God.

THE PRODUCTIVITY OF SEPARATION

Why is it productive to live a separated life?

“Let everyone that names the name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor.

If a person therefore cleanses himself from these [the works of dishonor and iniquity], he shall be a vessel unto honor, set apart, worthy, competent and profitable for the master’s use, prepared unto every good work.” [2 Timothy 2:19-21]

The greatest blessing you can have on earth is to walk with God!

Enoch walked with God, and he was not found anymore here on earth because God took him. [Genesis 5:24]

Elijah walked with God, and when it was time for him to go to Heaven, he was taken up by angels in a chariot surrounded by fire. [2 Kings 2:11]

You say, “But Apostle Handley, these were SPECIAL people.” Yes, and so are YOU . . . if you WANT to be. They were special people because they wanted to be special people.

The question is: “Do you WANT to be SPECIAL?”

The Holy Bible shows us that Elijah was just like you and me. He had the same emotions, the same temptations, and the same faculties. “Elijah was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.” [James 5:17-18]

As we approach the last days of Planet Earth and the return of Israel’s Messiah we should all the more want to live a separated life. The Apostle Peter told us ahead of time:

“But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up. Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of people should you be in all holy manner of living and godliness . . .” [2 Peter 3:10-11]

The Apostle Paul assigned Titus, a young preacher, the responsibility of pastoring and appointing elders in Crete and explained to him that it was profitable for believers to maintain good works. “This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that you affirm constantly, that those people who have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.” [Titus 3:8]

Paul also taught Timothy, who he placed in charge of the church at Ephesus, that there is great gain in living for God. “But godliness with contentment is great gain.” [1 Timothy 6:6]

If we are going to live a separated life so that we will be prepared to be used by the Master, then we have to be like a soldier. “You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Yeshua ha Meshiach (Jesus the Messiah). No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, so that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier.” [2 Timothy 2:3-4]

Holiness is the principle that separates the believer from the world. Holiness is a quality of personal conduct that consecrates us to God’s service. The Apostle Paul urged the believers in his day . . . and urges us today through the scripture . . . to walk in holiness and thereby please God.

“For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you should abstain from sexual immorality; that each of you should know how to possess his own vessel in sanctification and honor.” [1 Thessalonians 4:3-4]

Notice, in the verse above, that YOU are to POSSESS your vessel: you are the owner . . . you are in control. Don’t say “The devil made me do it!” Don’t say, “I couldn’t resist!” Have you been struggling with a certain temptation? Then get on your knees and CRY OUT to God. Ask Him to deliver you and sanctify you. The Bible says, “Call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.” [Psalm 50:15]

God is not dangling temptation in front of you to tempt you. “Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither does he tempt anyone.” [James 1:13]

God has made a WAY for you to exit temptation, but you have to WANT to exit! “There has NO temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above that which you are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that you may be able to bear it.” [1 Corinthians 10:13]

In the original Greek of which this passage was written it is actually saying that God will do the same as cut a path through a rock for you to make a way for you to escape . . . IF you WANT to escape! Cry out to Him and He will deliver you! God loves you and wants to help you. He also wants to use you to help others!

God may allow you to be tested from time to time, but only to see if you are worthy of Him investing His future talents and gifts in you so that you can be used for GREAT WORKS. What if after you have been used greatly, you mess up and ruin your testimony? Or, what if you make God or His people look bad?

Set apart a time for prayer and fasting to consecrate yourself to His service. Pray for a consecrated life: a life set apart in holiness and separation so you can be a vessel unto honor . . . worthy, competent, and profitable for the Master’s use . . . prepared unto every good work.

The more you are in the arena and productive for God, the more you will be shot at! And there will be different times you will need to draw on God’s strength through prayer and fasting. But always remember: Your best defense is a good offense. Keep reaching people for Messiah . . . keep under the anointing!

THE NEW YOU

When I was a young boy there was a family of trash collectors who would come down our alley every week to collect trash from the neighborhood and the local grocery.

I always felt good when they came by because they called me by name, and because of that I felt important. I also noticed a very marked difference about them: they always exuded joy. And after many years I discovered why: they knew Jesus!

No one in the community – wealthy, poor, business owners, educators – had the joy they had. They were prosperous in their hearts. As they folded boxes and collected trash, they manifested the presence of the Lord.

My family knew many people: political, religious, business, educational, and union leaders. However, NO family left their mark on a little boy like the Turner family: the trash collectors. The seed of God’s JOY in them made an indelible imprint on my mind and heart.

Through the years I have come to realize that one of the marks of the Christian – even in sorrow and trials – is JOY.

“For the JOY of the Lord is your strength.” [Nehemiah 8:10]

“You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fullness of JOY; and at your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.” [Psalm 16:11]

“And the disciples were filled with JOY, and with the Holy Ghost.” [Acts 13:52]

I know that I will see the Turner family in Heaven, and have the privilege to live with them forever. I would rather collect trash and be filled with God’s JOY than have all the riches of this world.

There are three (3) instructions the Lord has given me to communicate with you in this teaching. The reason I shared with you about the Turner family is because JOY will be the resultant of these three instructions from the Lord … JOY will be imparted to you as a permanent commodity as you learn to draw near the Spirit and fulfill your objectives on Planet Earth. Below are the three instructions from the Lord.

INSTRUCTION 1

You’re about to lose your vision. Don’t do it. Don’t give up!

If you don’t quit, you’ll win. But, if you quit, you can’t win!

“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” [Proverb 29:18a]

Because your vision is LARGER … and WORLD ENCOMPASSING, it has taken longer to develop. It has taken longer to prepare the natural infrastructure and logistics. These have been in a stage of preparation behind the scenes by the Holy Spirit and the Holy Watchers (the Holy Angels).

Also, the enemy has lied to you, telling you that your vision objectives are not going to be fulfilled. You can prove the devil wrong! Here’s how: the Lord told me to tell you to look at the bits and pieces that have been, and are already, coming in place. These are the tips of the iceberg.

The system is in place in God’s mind and economy because of your prayers, fasts, sacrifices, and faith. But now the enemy is trying to discourage you so that you will drop your vision … and in doing so it would be aborted. But the Spirit of God is NOT going to let you do that, and He is sending me to VALIDATE your victory.

You will SUCCEED. As a matter of fact, God wants you to ask Him for MORE than you have been asking. Here’s a secret: share your NEW JOY that will be imparted to you with the Lord. “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” [Psalm 37:4] The Hebrew word used here for delight means to have pleasurable emotion. You’re going to go through!

INSTRUCTION 2

God isn’t finished with you yet, my friend. Many of you reading this newsletter are about to experience a MAJOR CHANGE in your ministry and life. For some of you this word is a confirmation of what God has already been speaking to you. For others, you will receive the witness of the Holy Spirit concerning the same.

You will begin to see how things in the past have been used by God to fashion the NEW YOU!

Some of these things in the past were brought about by the faults and sins of other people … some were brought about as a result of your own disobedience … and some through obedience. BUT GOD …!

“BUT GOD … even when we were dead in sins … has quickened us together with Christ …” [Ephesians 2:4-7]

“BUT GOD raised Him from the dead.” [Acts 13:30]

“BUT GOD commends His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” [Romans 5:8]

BUT GOD can turn around the plans and devices of the enemy and make them serve God’s purpose. God loves you, my friend! If God can use a murderer like Moses, if God can use a fornicator like Samson, if God can use a murderer and adulterer like King David … all of whom repented and were cleansed … then God can use you! Nobody loves you like Jesus!

You will SEE how things in the past have brought you to be the NEW YOU: one who has a close, intimate walk with the Holy Spirit. Trials and hard times have made you a new sharp threshing instrument. But don’t live in the past … and don’t be the old you any longer.

That’s why God is bringing changes in your life and ministry: geographical changes, ministry changes, relational changes. And, in the future you will look back again and SEE how you were like Ruth in the Tanakh (the Old Testament). Read the Book of Ruth; it contains only four chapters but the Spirit will speak many great things to you concerning your future.

The NEW YOU is being marked with the JOY of the Lord! This will be your sign and the enemy cannot hinder it. The joy will be your sustaining strength, and because of this strength you will have peace in all matters and concerns of life: large and small; familial and interpersonal; secular and spiritual; business and recreational. As a result, you will REST more: physically and mentally. Your life – your days on earth – will be extended.

Also, concomitant with this MARK – the joy of the Lord – will be extra elements of angelic protection.

Your life and ministry will be in retrospect like Ruth’s.

• Ruth was shut out: by society and by the Law.
  

• Ruth experienced great loss and sadness.
  

• Ruth left her comfort zone.
  

• Ruth experienced great cultural change.
  

• Ruth was not ashamed to do menial work.
  

• Ruth pledged allegiance to Israel’s God.
  

• Ruth found favor with God and man.
  

• Ruth was blessed with a new family and mate.

• Ruth was liberated permanently.

• Ruth was blessed with wealth.

• Ruth became the progenitor of Messiah and his seed line. (You will extend the seed line of Messiah by the people you bring to Him.)

INSTRUCTION 3

Never be afraid to leave your comfort zone.

If Ruth had not left her comfort zone, none of the blessings would have overtaken her.

I know of a case concerning a businessman who was called to preach several years ago. He put off the call for several years until he felt he could financially make the move. When he was financially secure, he decided to quit his business and obey the Lord’s leading.

He told his pastor in Michigan (USA) that he wanted to go into the ministry. The pastor told him that he would like him to preach in 30 days at the Sunday evening service. The man prepared a message and when that Sunday evening arrived he went to the pulpit to preach. When he opened his mouth to preach … nothing came out! He could NOT speak. As far as I know, he never regained the ability to speak.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a German theologian, was martyred by the Nazis at the age of 39 in 1945. He was involved with the German underground and hanged as a result. In his book, The Cost of Discipleship, he wrote:

“The new situation must be created – the impossible situation in which everything is staked solely on the word of Jesus. The road to faith passes through obedience to the call of Jesus. Unless a definite step is demanded, the call vanishes into thin air, and if people imagine that they can follow Jesus without taking this step, they are deluding themselves.” [1]

Don’t put off what God is calling you to do. You may have been serving God for years in ministry but you must realize there is NO seniority in God’s vineyard. If you don’t do the job, God will find someone else. Don’t be afraid to leave your comfort zone IF God is leading you to another field of ministry.

God is LARGE and IN CHARGE! Your identity is in Him!

WHAT TO DO AFTER THE VICTORY – PART B

Immediately after the victory for which you have fought, prayed, and believed in faith, will subtly appear one of your most dangerous attacks from the enemy. It will NOT be like the attack(s) BEFORE your conquest: to discourage you, to make you afraid, to cause loss of integrity, loss of a loved one, or loss of possessions. All of which attacks you can defeat … and withstand … by living holy and living a life of faith and trust in God.

But this attack will be so delicate or precise as to be difficult to analyze or describe. You will not be capable, without discernment from God, of making fine distinctions as to the source of the attack. It will be overt and delicately complex. There will be put in place clever and indirect means by the enemy to achieve your downfall: spiritually, socially, materially, physically, and mentally … in that order.

This two-part newsletter is being written to instruct you as to how to offset this kind of attack, and to guard against it; also, to augment and solidify your recent victory, and to go on to higher and more productive accomplishments.

King Solomon tells us in the Book of Ecclesiastes that threefold cord is not easily broken. [Ecclesiastes 4:12] There are three things you can do to assure your maintenance of the victory and your own personal integrity. They are as follows:

[] Plan for the Future

In the previous newsletter we discussed the first thing you should do to assure the maintenance of your victory and your own personal integrity: Guard Against Pride.

In this newsletter we will discuss the second and third things you should do to assure the maintenance of your victory and your own personal integrity: Monitor the Victory; and, Plan for the Future.

[] MONITOR THE VICTORY

Is the business or ministry that was implemented as a result of the victory just accomplished helping people to grow? That is, is it making disciples for our Lord and, at the same time, advancing the kingdom of God? Are new synagogues and churches being raised up. Are you planning and praying for new churches and/or messianic synagogues to be raised up as a result of the business or ministry that was successfully implemented? If so, what will be your strategy for [harvesting AND] monitoring the new birthings that result from the victory?

Do you have literature prepared in the language(s) of the people or customers you will be reaching? What opportunities will be provided for the new believers to take part in your business or ministry so they may grow at optimum efficiency? (We’re NOT talking here about folding church bulletins!) How will you train the leaders of the movement?

Jesus wants you to give them “strong meat.” Not just salvation … but also enlargement. In the great commission He said to “teach them to observe ALL things I have commanded you …” [Matthew 28:18-20] That includes healing, forgiveness, casting out demons, prayer, fasting, love, the baptism in the Holy Spirit, unity, faith, and prosperity of resources.

“Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season.” [Matthew 24:45]

“For when for the time you ought to be teachers, you have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.” [Hebrews 5:12]

Do you have methodology in place whereby you can obtain feedback from the new wave of the harvest? How will you “take the pulse” of the new believers and the leaders in the movement or business so you can help them yield to the lordship of Christ. Do you have a system in place … a plan of action … to monitor and ensure that the new disciples are becoming disciples of Christ and NOT disciples of men.

What you do NOT need is for the enemy to trick you, and you find out up the road that false discipleship is taking place: the believers are falling prey to the (false) covering movement where they become disciples of men and lose their liberty to follow the leading of the Holy Spirit. They become robots instead of creators! This happened in the 1970′s and was a strategy of Satan to destroy the evangelistic and prophetic ministry. I know of cases where people had to ask permission from the elders for such things as taking flowers to a sick person or evangelizing a university.

Let the Holy Spirit do what He wants; but you fast, pray, and plan. Some people spend much time planning and preparing for their own financial and legal matters, but hardly any time planning and preparing for the efficient mobilization of God’s people and the necessary logistics.

Do you have plans ahead of time to facilitate the new believers being directed into houses of worship … OR … to teach them how to start a new church or messianic synagogue?

When a new fellowship of believers is raised up, what should you look for? What ministry gifts does the Holy Spirit usually give to the new local body of believers before the ministry of apostle? How should the leaders be chosen? Will the new leaders know how and when to send out workers to other fields?

How will you make sure that the NEW MOVEMENT which results from the recent victory will be multiplied? Never be satisfied with production or harvest alone … but always pray for an ANOINTING OF MULTIPLICATION!

There are many subjects dealing with monitoring the harvest so you should examine each area of the RealMiracles website to derive the information relevant to the situation. For example, when I asked the questions above, “How should the leaders be chosen? Will the new leaders know how and when to send out workers to other fields?”, the answers are both subjective and objective.

If you study the scriptural pattern for new churches being established, you will see in Acts Chapter 13 that prophets and teachers were first called out by the Holy Spirit and then apostles sent forth. Study the Book of Acts and watch the scriptural pattern, an objective pattern laid out by the Holy Spirit. Also, notice how the apostles went back on subsequent journey(s) confirming the (souls of) the disciples.

However, there is “subjectivity” to the selection of leaders. You will see that the Holy Spirit “called” and then “sent forth” the apostles. In between the “calling” and the “sending forth” was the laying on of hands by the presbytery, ratifying the work of the Spirit. The aspect of “subjectivity” in the ordaining or choosing of leaders is of extreme importance. Let me give you an example.

While I was training pastors and Christian leaders in a jungle area, there were two predominant leaders. The brothers I knew who had been used by God to plant several churches in the area of that nation had two individuals in mind that they thought should be the leaders. However, the indigenous natives came to them and said, “They are not the leaders, it is someone else.” The leaders the people chose were the two that I had noticed.

[] PLAN FOR THE FUTURE

Jesus taught that we must be expedient concerning the harvest. It would be terrible mismanagement … extremely sinful … to allow the harvest to lay idle, and go unharvested: to allow it to rot.

“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night comes, when no man can work.” [John 9:4]

“Do not say, There are yet four months, and then comes the harvest. But, look, I say to you, focus with your eyes, and put your attention on these fields, for they are already white, ready to harvest.” [John 4:35]

My mother used to say many times, “Make hay while the sun shines!” (In other words, when night comes it’s too late to work … take advantage of the situation NOW!)

After your victory is the time the enemy will do his best to allure you with: Fame; Fortune; Lust; and,
Deception of any kind.

Don’t let your guard down!

You are at your weakest point of defense right after your victory. That’s the time to “RSPS”: Rest; Stay under the anointing; Plan, stretch out in faith; and, Start implementing your plans for the NEXT victory. It may be related to the harvest of your present (recent) victory.

Rest for a short period. Use this time to reflect and give thanks to God, and those people who assisted you, for the victory. Pray God’s blessing on those who assisted you!

Stay under the anointing. Stay in the Word of God and prayer.

Plan. Use this period of rest to listen to God for the “skeletal” outline of your next project. Receive your plans from the Spirit. Then praise and thank Him in faith for the next victory!

Start. Don’t wait for everything to be perfect before you implement. Don’t wait until all the conditions are right before you start. Count the cost, but use faith. You can refine after you implement.

DESCRIPTION:

Never let a person … or a ministry … or a church … be your covering! Many people who had a powerful call of God on their lives have been deceived by the “false covering” (false discipleship) movement. Their anointing was diluted, the fire of the Spirit was quenched, and many millions of people were not reached for Christ! This teaching will expose the teachings … and the calamity … of the false discipleship (false covering) movement, and will protect you so that you can have a VITAL ministry!

THE FALSE COVERING MOVEMENT

In the late 1960′s and into the 1970′s there arose a damaging movement to the Body of Christ called “The Covering” movement. Another name for this group was the “false discipleship” movement. Satan realized he could NOT stop the great outpouring of the Spirit, so he devised a means whereby he would use a sector of the church – and some Christian leaders – to slow it down and divert it: diffusing its power and intended Kingdom result!

There were several popular teachers involved in this movement; however, not many were brilliant expositors. They teaching went to excess so far as to be used by Satan to quench true evangelistic and prophetic ministry with the result that false prophetic ministries came into being.

Some of the excesses were as follows:

I knew a pastor who was near death in the hospital. A person was taking the pastor flowers and was told they must first submit the idea to elders.

I knew a young man who left the Midwest and came to the West Coast of the USA extremely discouraged. He had a flourishing and powerful youth ministry. He felt the Lord leading him to start a church; however, the pastor and elders of his church told him not to start it. A well known pastor friend of mine called me and asked me is I would come counsel the young man. I had just returned from a very exhausting six weeks in Africa and told my friend I would pray about it. On the third day, I called my friend and said, “The Lord wants me to counsel the young man.” I went to the pastor’s home, and during dinner the Spirit came upon me. I spoke to the young man and give Him the Lord’s directive: “Go back there and start a church!” That church has, I think, over 10,000 people now and has been sending missionaries all over the world.

I knew a powerful pastor who also had a ministry gift of evangelism. This pastor had ministered for years and moved into a new geographic area. He felt God leading him to evangelize at the local university. During the time of his getting acquainted in the new city he was fellowshipping with some brethren in a local church. He thought it would be nice to invite them to evangelize with him.

The elders of the church were involved in the “covering” movement and told him NOT to evangelize at the university. When he asked them what they would do IF he did so, they answered, “We will come against you with everything we have in the name of Jesus!” This man was one of the greatest pastors I have ever known, and who also worked with some of the best missionary organizations in the world.

Many young people, and older people coming into the call of ministry, were kept from fulfilling the will of God in their lives, as well as hindered from being used to maximum potential by the Lord.

During the 1970′s the Lord sent me to around the USA and also to other countries to expose this false teaching. Lots of precious ministries were saved from shipwreck. I can think of pastors who each have thousands of people in their congregations now who were under the bondage of the “false” covering movement, and who saw the light as God used me to expose it. These young men and women went on to OBEY what the Lord was telling them and started their own ministries with the result of cities and nations being reached for Christ.

They came out of spiritual bondage – the trap of Satan – into FREEDOM of ministry!

The examples I gave you previously are just of few of the multitudinous extremes of this Satanic strategy.

The reason that Satan tries to get people deceived into the “false” covering trip is because he was once the “anointed cherub who covers” … and NOW he does NOT want anyone under the covering of Jesus Christ. (Ezekiel 28:14-15)

Man is NOT your covering; neither is a ministry or a church. If you think so, try this … The next time you start to get into a wreck or have an accident, see whose name you call on: the church, a minister, or … JESUS!

When the BLOOD in the Tabernacle was placed by the High Priest upon the mercy seat in the Holy Place it effected atonement. The Hebrew word for “atonement” is “caphar” and is a primitive root which means “to cover, (figuratively) to cancel, to cleanse, be merciful, to forgive, and to purge.”

Once a year the High Priest would go into the Holy of Holies with the BLOOD of the sin offering of atonements. It was most holy unto the LORD. The Hebrew word here used for “atonements” is “kippur” and means “expiation” (in the plural), or “a satisfaction, or to appease for guilt or sin by sacrifice.” (Exodus Chapter 30) “Caphar” and “kippur” both derive their meaning from the same Hebrew root form.

It is the same word from which the High Holy holiday Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) derives its meaning.

Make sure that the BLOOD of Jesus the Messiah is your covering.

Lucifer was once the “anointed cherub who covers” and had authority and responsibility to protect and defend the holy mountain of God. Ezekiel 28:13 alludes to the possibility that part of his duty was to lead Heaven’s choirs in the worship of God. However, the scripture shows he wanted glory for himself and was cast down. Many in the “false” covering movement want “glory for themselves.” They are taking the position of God telling the people of God WHEN, HOW, and WHERE they can minister … even to the extent of telling them NOT to minister.

It’s interesting to note that in the Revelation of Jesus to John on the island of Patmos, the Lord commended the Church of Ephesus by saying:

“But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I (Jesus) also hate.” (Revelation 2:6)

He also told the Church of Pergamos: “You also have hose who hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitans, which thing I hate.”

The word “Nicolaitans is a combination of two Greek words: nikos (meaning conqueror or victory) and laos (meaning people), which combination means “people conquerors, or conquering the laity.”

Christ is saying here that he hates the ministry of “people conquerors.” What the Holy Spirit starts, He wants to complete. Jesus purchased His people with His own BLOOD, and He does NOT want people – especially those who call themselves ministers of the Gospel – putting Christians in bondage and trying to own or control the people … and the work the Holy spirit wants to do through them.

As ministers of the Gospel, we are to encourage and direct those the Spirit is calling and sending.

Do NOT let men take the place of the Holy Spirit in your life and ministry.

Let Jesus and His shed BLOOD be your covering. Align yourself through faith with His WILL and His PROTECTION.
