PROPHECY AND A WORD FOR YOU

Do NOT be afraid of economic conditions … NOW or FUTURE, nor of employment availabiity.

If you are an employer or business owner, do NOT be afraid of financial instability … even chaos.

Financial chaos may come, but God is bigger and will make a way for YOU.

If you have been faithful in tithes and offerings unto the LORD, He is going to take care of you.

God can open doors, God can make doors, God can knock down doors.

God created heaven and earth in six literal 24 hour days. He could have done it i six nano-seconds.

He can CREATE situations just for you.

Many of you reading this message are going to see “out-of-the-ordinary” situations occur to provide you with income, some with release of debt, some with UNexpected resources to put you over.

There will be MIRACLES … real miracles … of sustenance and provision for you and your family.

Some of you will SEE and KNOW that the  EXTRA resources and money are the DIRECT results of angelic intervention implemented from Heaven’s administration. Be careful to give EXTRA to the LORD by sharing with those people or groups to whom the Holy Spirit directs you.

Above all, draw close to the Master. Listen and OBEY.

You are living in exciting times. Give Messiah Jesus the OPEN praise for what He does for you! Let people know.

THE NEW YOU

When I was a young boy there was a family of trash collectors who would come down our alley every week to collect trash from the neighborhood and the local grocery.

I always felt good when they came by because they called me by name, and because of that I felt important. I also noticed a very marked difference about them: they always exuded joy. And after many years I discovered why: they knew Jesus!

No one in the community – wealthy, poor, business owners, educators – had the joy they had. They were prosperous in their hearts. As they folded boxes and collected trash, they manifested the presence of the Lord.

My family knew many people: political, religious, business, educational, and union leaders. However, NO family left their mark on a little boy like the Turner family: the trash collectors. The seed of God’s JOY in them made an indelible imprint on my mind and heart.

Through the years I have come to realize that one of the marks of the Christian – even in sorrow and trials – is JOY.

“For the JOY of the Lord is your strength.” [Nehemiah 8:10]

“You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fullness of JOY; and at your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.” [Psalm 16:11]

“And the disciples were filled with JOY, and with the Holy Ghost.” [Acts 13:52]

I know that I will see the Turner family in Heaven, and have the privilege to live with them forever. I would rather collect trash and be filled with God’s JOY than have all the riches of this world.

There are three (3) instructions the Lord has given me to communicate with you in this teaching. The reason I shared with you about the Turner family is because JOY will be the resultant of these three instructions from the Lord … JOY will be imparted to you as a permanent commodity as you learn to draw near the Spirit and fulfill your objectives on Planet Earth. Below are the three instructions from the Lord.

INSTRUCTION 1

You’re about to lose your vision. Don’t do it. Don’t give up!

If you don’t quit, you’ll win. But, if you quit, you can’t win!

“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” [Proverb 29:18a]

Because your vision is LARGER … and WORLD ENCOMPASSING, it has taken longer to develop. It has taken longer to prepare the natural infrastructure and logistics. These have been in a stage of preparation behind the scenes by the Holy Spirit and the Holy Watchers (the Holy Angels).

Also, the enemy has lied to you, telling you that your vision objectives are not going to be fulfilled. You can prove the devil wrong! Here’s how: the Lord told me to tell you to look at the bits and pieces that have been, and are already, coming in place. These are the tips of the iceberg.

The system is in place in God’s mind and economy because of your prayers, fasts, sacrifices, and faith. But now the enemy is trying to discourage you so that you will drop your vision … and in doing so it would be aborted. But the Spirit of God is NOT going to let you do that, and He is sending me to VALIDATE your victory.

You will SUCCEED. As a matter of fact, God wants you to ask Him for MORE than you have been asking. Here’s a secret: share your NEW JOY that will be imparted to you with the Lord. “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” [Psalm 37:4] The Hebrew word used here for delight means to have pleasurable emotion. You’re going to go through!

INSTRUCTION 2

God isn’t finished with you yet, my friend. Many of you reading this newsletter are about to experience a MAJOR CHANGE in your ministry and life. For some of you this word is a confirmation of what God has already been speaking to you. For others, you will receive the witness of the Holy Spirit concerning the same.

You will begin to see how things in the past have been used by God to fashion the NEW YOU!

Some of these things in the past were brought about by the faults and sins of other people … some were brought about as a result of your own disobedience … and some through obedience. BUT GOD …!

“BUT GOD … even when we were dead in sins … has quickened us together with Christ …” [Ephesians 2:4-7]

“BUT GOD raised Him from the dead.” [Acts 13:30]

“BUT GOD commends His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” [Romans 5:8]

BUT GOD can turn around the plans and devices of the enemy and make them serve God’s purpose. God loves you, my friend! If God can use a murderer like Moses, if God can use a fornicator like Samson, if God can use a murderer and adulterer like King David … all of whom repented and were cleansed … then God can use you! Nobody loves you like Jesus!

You will SEE how things in the past have brought you to be the NEW YOU: one who has a close, intimate walk with the Holy Spirit. Trials and hard times have made you a new sharp threshing instrument. But don’t live in the past … and don’t be the old you any longer.

That’s why God is bringing changes in your life and ministry: geographical changes, ministry changes, relational changes. And, in the future you will look back again and SEE how you were like Ruth in the Tanakh (the Old Testament). Read the Book of Ruth; it contains only four chapters but the Spirit will speak many great things to you concerning your future.

The NEW YOU is being marked with the JOY of the Lord! This will be your sign and the enemy cannot hinder it. The joy will be your sustaining strength, and because of this strength you will have peace in all matters and concerns of life: large and small; familial and interpersonal; secular and spiritual; business and recreational. As a result, you will REST more: physically and mentally. Your life – your days on earth – will be extended.

Also, concomitant with this MARK – the joy of the Lord – will be extra elements of angelic protection.

Your life and ministry will be in retrospect like Ruth’s.

• Ruth was shut out: by society and by the Law.
  

• Ruth experienced great loss and sadness.
  

• Ruth left her comfort zone.
  

• Ruth experienced great cultural change.
  

• Ruth was not ashamed to do menial work.
  

• Ruth pledged allegiance to Israel’s God.
  

• Ruth found favor with God and man.
  

• Ruth was blessed with a new family and mate.

• Ruth was liberated permanently.

• Ruth was blessed with wealth.

• Ruth became the progenitor of Messiah and his seed line. (You will extend the seed line of Messiah by the people you bring to Him.)

INSTRUCTION 3

Never be afraid to leave your comfort zone.

If Ruth had not left her comfort zone, none of the blessings would have overtaken her.

I know of a case concerning a businessman who was called to preach several years ago. He put off the call for several years until he felt he could financially make the move. When he was financially secure, he decided to quit his business and obey the Lord’s leading.

He told his pastor in Michigan (USA) that he wanted to go into the ministry. The pastor told him that he would like him to preach in 30 days at the Sunday evening service. The man prepared a message and when that Sunday evening arrived he went to the pulpit to preach. When he opened his mouth to preach … nothing came out! He could NOT speak. As far as I know, he never regained the ability to speak.

Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a German theologian, was martyred by the Nazis at the age of 39 in 1945. He was involved with the German underground and hanged as a result. In his book, The Cost of Discipleship, he wrote:

“The new situation must be created – the impossible situation in which everything is staked solely on the word of Jesus. The road to faith passes through obedience to the call of Jesus. Unless a definite step is demanded, the call vanishes into thin air, and if people imagine that they can follow Jesus without taking this step, they are deluding themselves.” [1]

Don’t put off what God is calling you to do. You may have been serving God for years in ministry but you must realize there is NO seniority in God’s vineyard. If you don’t do the job, God will find someone else. Don’t be afraid to leave your comfort zone IF God is leading you to another field of ministry.

God is LARGE and IN CHARGE! Your identity is in Him!

• Never be afraid to leave your COMFORT ZONE.
  

• You will SUCCEED … your vision will come to pass.

WHAT TO DO AFTER THE VICTORY – PART A

Immediately after the victory for which you have fought, believed in faith, and prayed will subtly appear one of your most dangerous attacks from the enemy. It will NOT be like the attack(s) BEFORE your conquest: to discourage you, to make you afraid, to cause loss of integrity, loss of a loved one, or loss of possessions. All of which attacks you can defeat … and withstand … by living holy and living a life of faith and trust in God.

But this attack will be so delicate or precise as to be difficult to analyze or describe. You will not be capable, without discernment from God, of making fine distinctions as to the source of the attack. It will be “covert” and delicately complex. There will be put in place clever and indirect means by the enemy to achieve your downfall: spiritually, socially, materially, physically, and mentally … in that order.

This newsletter is being written to instruct you as to how to “offset” this kind of attack, and to guard against it; also, to augment and solidify your recent victory, and to go on to higher and more productive accomplishments.

King Solomon tells us in the Book of Ecclesiastes that “a threefold cord is not easily broken.” [Ecclesiastes 4:12] There are three things you can do to assure your maintenance of the victory and your own personal integrity. They are as follows:

[] Guard Against Pride

[] Monitor the Victory

[] Plan for the Future

We will now discuss these three aspects.

[] Guard Against Pride

Let us examine some scriptures concerning pride, its effects, and what God thinks about it. It is not my purpose here to comment on each verse, but to provide a general overview of the consequences of pride and the response of God toward it.

“When pride comes, then comes shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.” [Proverbs 11:2]

“Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.” [Proverbs 16:18]

“A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honor shall uphold the humble in spirit.” [Proverbs 29:23]

“But when his [Nebuchadnezzar's] heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he was deposed from his kingly throne; they took his glory from him.” [Daniel 5:20]

“Not a novice, lest being lifted up with pride he fall into the condemnation of the devil.” [1 Timothy 3:6] “For all that is in the world, the evil desire of the flesh, and the evil desire of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” [1 John 2:16]

Thinking in your mind that you were the one responsible for the victory … forgetting that God gave you the victory … is a great insult to the Heavenly Father, and manifests a lack of mature thankfulness. The Lord led you to the people, provided the resources, gave you the wisdom, enabled you with skill(s), and blessed you with the anointing.

You may have temptations to boast about the victory; maybe not in a braggadocios manner, but in a subdued presentation of the victory as “your brainchild” … “your baby” … “your production”. Remember, God is all-seeing, He is watching whether you try to take the glory or whether you give Him the glory. He doesn’t NEED the glory, but He is looking for the character in your heart, that He might use you even more in the future.

Remember, you can have your rewards here on earth … or in Heaven. The Lord Jesus taught us:

“Pay attention that you do not do your charitable donations before men, to be seen of them: otherwise you have NO reward of your Father which is in Heaven.” [Matthew 6:1]

“Therefore when you do your charitable donations, do not sound a trumpet before you [to draw attention to yourself and your works], as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Truly I say unto you, they have their reward.”

“But when you do your charitable donations, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand does. This way, your charitable donations may be confidential; and your Father which sees your confidential works Himself will reward you openly.” [Matthew 6:1-4]

You don’t get any reward from the Father when you try to draw attention to your good works. You already received your reward; that was to have yourself and your works … your “victory” … seen by men. Like the old saying, “You can’t eat your cake and still have it, too!”

However, if you do your works confidentially (sometimes you can’t keep them confidential), in your heart NOT trying to draw attention to yourself, but wanting God to receive the glory, then you will have your rewards BOTH on earth and in Heaven. In this way you will be able to eat your cake and still have it in Heaven!

This mindset has to be established ahead of time or you will not be able to resist the temptations to boast. If you do fall prey to boasting, Satan will have a “hook” in you called “pride” and try to use it to steal your earthly blessings and to bring you down. His chief objective in all this, however, will be to keep you from being powerfully used by God again in the future.

One way of boasting, and thus giving in to pride, is through the vanity of numbers or size. King David was guilty of this and many innocent people lost their lives. [1 Chronicles Chapter 21] “And David’s heart smote him after that he had numbered the people. And David said unto the Lord, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech thee, O Lord, take away the iniquity of thy servant, for I have done very foolishly.” [2 Samuel 24:10]

Some of the ancient rabbis put up walls around the Torah to keep people from breaking the law. In other words, they had man made laws to act as a “buffer zone” to keep people from getting too close to breaking one of the laws in the Torah (the five books of Moses, the Pentateuch). Maybe it would be wise to make a personal decision not to number people or things (other than for inventory or important purposes and records) as a guard against using these numerical values as a tool for boasting or personal aggrandizement. I’m not talking about being legalistic, but about setting a path for humility.

One way to set up walls to help us guard against pride is to search the scriptures and find out what pride is about, and then do the opposite. For example, when the Holy Bible tells us, “A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honor shall uphold the humble in spirit.” [Proverbs 29:23], then we can see that it would be to our profit to seek to be “humble in spirit.”

One area of pride, and there are many facets, is in the area of relationships. I’m not talking about immoral, or ungodly, relationships, but about bragging,or even mentally boasting that we know or closely associate ourselves with someone who is well known. I’m not talking about honoring and being thankful of associations with people who have the favor of God on their lives … but about giving preference or showing respect of persons.

James, the brother of our Lord and the first bishop of the church of Jerusalem, taught us:

“For if there come unto our assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poor man in vile raiment, and you have respect to him that wears the magnificent clothing, and say unto him, ‘You sit here in a good seat,’ and say to the poor person, ‘You stand here …’; are you not then showing partiality, and have become judges of evil thoughts.” [James 2:2-4]

The scripture admonishes us in Romans 12:16 to “Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.” In other words, be of the same mind toward all people, whether rich or poor, politically connected or not, educated or uneducated, whether advantageous to our cause or not. This is another way to guard against pride.

It may take working at as we learn to lean on the Holy Spirit, but it will help us to maintain our well fought victories and also help us go on to higher and more productive accomplishments. Specifically, it will let God see that we are willing to let the metal of our hearts be refined so that He might use us more greatly for His glory!

So far we have discussed the first thing you should do to assure the maintenance of your victory and your own personal integrity:

What is the circumstance that is standing between you and your Promised Land?

What is keeping you from attaining the Holy Spirit goals you have been praying for?

What is the lie the enemy keeps telling you that has kept you from entering in?

TODAY IS YOUR DAY OF DELIVERANCE

After the children of Israel lodged for three days at the brink of the Jordan River, Joshua sent officers through the camp who commanded the people:

“When you see the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God, and the priests, the Levites, bearing it, then you shall set out from your place and go after it. Yet there shall be a space between you and the ark, about 2,000 cubits (1,000 yards or 914 meters) by measure. Do not come near the ark, that you may know the way by which you must go, for you have not passed this way before.” [Joshua 3:1-4]

The Hebrew root word for “passed” used above is “abar” [ah-var] which means “to pass over, go through, pass beyond, or to make a transition [figuratively or literally].”

To arrive INSIDE your Promised Land, you will have to go through a TRANSITION! The Hebrew word “abar” also means “to pass from one side to the other side.”

Interestingly enough, a derivative of the word “abar” is “Ibriy” which means “Hebrew” and is the ethnic description of Abraham and his seed line, who was a descendant of Eber, the great grandson of Noah’s son Shem.

Genesis 14:13 talks about “Abram the Hebrew.” Exodus 7:16 mentions “the LORD God of the Hebrews.” Here “Hebrews” represents a tribe of Semites (sons of Shem).

Abraham “crossed over” the Euphrates River from Haran to Canaan, the land God promised him. How did he do it? . . . through OBEDIENCE! Abraham, his wife Sarah, and his nephew Lot had originally left Ur of the Chaldees with his father, Terah, and arrived in Haran. It’s possible the LORD had wanted Terah to take the trip of faith from Haran and he may not have obeyed; possibly that is why God chose Abraham.

If you don’t do it, God will find someone who will! Are you willing to make the transition from your comfort zone to a blessed place where millions of other people will be blessed by your life and ministry?

The people of Israel were commanded to stay a great distance from the Ark as it would show them the way (verses 3 and 4). You are NOT to jump ahead of the LORD but to honor His holiness, just as the people honored the sacredness of the Ark. Let God lead you . . . and then follow Him in faith. He understands when you’re not sure; but He also understands when you don’t obey.

If your plans fit into God’s plans . . .

You will have God’s faith . . .

And God’s faith always works!

Then you can pass over and make the transition to the Promised Land: the completion of the Holy Spirit goals you have prayed for so long!

YOU SHALL BE PERFECT WITH THE LORD YOUR GOD

“You shall be perfect with the LORD your God.” (Deuteronomy 18:13 HNV)

The word “perfect” here used is the Hebrew word “tamiym” and means “entire” (as in whole) and can be used literally, morally, or figuratively. It also has the sense of “integrity, truth, sound, and without blemish, complete, WHOLE and upright.”

When Abram was 99 years old, the LORD appeared to him and said, “I am the Almighty God, walk before me and be thou perfect.” The same Hebrew word tamiym is used here.

We know that Abraham was not altogether perfect as in the two times he presented his wife as his sister; and even though his stint with Hagar may have been according to the custom of the times, it leaves one to wonder about his faith in God’s promise for an heir to be born. However, Abraham had the example – the IDEAL – set before him by God. He knew what he was supposed to live like.

There are several passages in the Bible where this same Hebrew word for “perfect” is used.

“For the upright will dwell in the land. The perfect will remain in it.” (Proverbs 2:21)

Psalm 101:6 says “Mine eyes shall be upon he faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walks in a perfect way, he shall serve me.” Notice that this was a Psalm of David, where King David makes a vow and profession of godliness.

We know clearly from scripture that David loved God. However, we also know clearly from scripture that he committed adultery and murder.

God has set the IDEAL before us. We are to be perfect; we are to exhibit integrity and truth, and to be WHOLE and without blemish. However, because of the human condition (sin) we miss the mark. That is why we need Jesus!

Thank God, Jesus is the IDEAL. He fulfilled the Law, but He also makes us WHOLE who have not been able to keep the Law. Our job is to TRY – and to grow in maturity along the way – even though we cannot attain to perfection. Even though we miss the mark, we have a Savior who loves us and is waiting to help us when we ask. If it were not for Jesus we would all be in the pit!

Jesus, the Messiah of Israel, shed His BLOOD on the cross to pay for all of our sins. If we ask for and receive His forgiveness, we will be cleansed and be made WHOLE.

King David repented for his sins just as we are to do. He also knew the JOY of forgiveness and how to praise God, just as we are to do.

In Heaven, at the Judgment Throne of God, if we have given our lives to Christ before leaving Planet Earth, and have pressed toward the IDEAL, even though failing, the LORD will be there to speak for us, and to represent us; He will be our legal Counselor.

Other Good News: our Attorney will also be our Judge!

Since He has been so good to us, and keeps on doing so, no matter how much and how often we mess up, let us be thankful and try to live holy. We need to ask God to set us apart – to sanctify us – that we might be pleasing to Him and a witness to those around us.

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.” (Hebrews 12:1)

The Living Bible paraphrases it this way: “And so, dear brothers, I plead with you to give your bodies to God. Let them be a living sacrifice, holy – the kind He can accept. When you think of what He has done for you, is this too much to ask?”

DO NOT BE CONCERNED AND DO NOT LET THE ENEMY CONDEMN YOU THAT YOU ARE NOT LIVING LIKE JESUS. THERE ARE SO MANY WAYS WE ALL FALL SHORT … THAT’S WHY WE NEED JESUS … THAT’S WHY HE CAME FOR US! 

SOME OF THE MEANEST CHRISTIANS ARE RELIGOUS ONES … AND SOME OF THE SWEETEST CHRISTIANS ARE THE SINNER CHRISTIANS. 

PEOPLE TALK ABOUT “WHAT WOULD JESUS DO?” HOWEVER, THE REAL ISSUE IS “WHAT DOES JESUS WANT ME TO DO?” JUST LOVE GOD AND KEEP THANKING HIM FOR WHAT JESUS DID FOR YOU, THAT YOU ARE ON YOUR WAY TO HEAVEN BECAUSE OF HIS SACRIFICE FOR YOU ON THE CROSS AND HIS RESURRECTION … AND DO WHAT THE LORD DIRECTS YOU TO DO TO HELP OTHERS AND BUILD HIS KINGDOM. 

DON’T TRY TO BE PERFECT, BECAUSE YOU CAN’T. JUST TRY TO MATURE, WHICH AT TIME THAT EFFORT WILL SEE RELAPSE, ALSO. 

JESUS LOVES YOU, AND HE WANTS TO LOVE OTHERS THROUGH YOU. DEAL WITH EVERY PERSON AS AN INDIVIDUAL, WHETHER POOR OR WEALTHY - NOT A GROUP OR SECTOR OF SOCIETY, OR A SOCIETAL CLASS MEMBER SUPPOSEDLY (BY THE WORLD’S STANDARDS) ABOVE OR BELOW YOU. 

WHILE YOUR’E TRYING TO REACH THE WORLD FOR CHRIST, ALLOW YOURSELF THE PRIVILEGE OF HAVING FUN AND BEING A RAY OF LIGHT WHERE JESUS CAN SHINE THROUGH AND BRIGHTEN SOMEONE’S DAY: FRIEND OR ENEMY.
