TRUE BIBLICAL PROSPERITY
Do not worry! We are NOT going to ask you for money. We never do that. The Lord takes care of us abundantly. This newsletter is being written to help YOU and the Body of Messiah with vital issues. We have received several requests and questions concerning the following:
How do I know WHEN to give and when NOT to give to someone? I want to help people but I don’t want to give to wrong places, or give when I shouldn’t.
What does the Bible really teach about tithes and offerings?
Is there a plan of giving that I can commit to the Lord, and KNOW FOR SURE that He will guide me financially? I want to be faithful to God, but I want to take care of my family and my ministry.
To answer these questions, and possibly a few others, this ezine teaching will discuss in a PRACTICAL and DETAILED manner the following:

PRIVILEGE, PROTECTION & PRODUCTIVITY OF THE TITHE
First, let me start off with this premise: True biblical prosperity is “working hand-in-hand with God to bless the nations.”
The definition of the “tithe” is as follows: One tenth of produce or earnings. Originally it was one tenth of the yearly production. The old English origin of the word “tithe” means “tenth.” The Hebrew root word “mahasayr” means “tenth” (noun) and the verb means the “act of giving the tenth.”
Some people feel that the principle of paying the tithe was only applicable in Old Testament times and that it is something that was only done “under the Law of Moses” and thereby we as Christians do not have the responsibility – or the privilege – of paying the tithe. This is NOT right, because Yeshua validated the tithe in His discourse in Matthew 23:23 and Luke 11:42. He scolded the Pharisees for paying tithes of small herbs, but passing over weightier matters, like justice, mercy, faith and the love of God. He told them they should have tithed, and that they were right in doing so, but they missed out on the major items!
Malachi 3:8-11 shows us what God thinks and promises concerning the tithe and offerings.
“Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed me. But you say, Wherein have we robbed you? In tithes and offerings.
You are cursed with a curse: for you have robbed me, even this whole nation.
You bing all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in my house, and PROVE me now herewith, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of Heaven, and pour you out a blessing, [so great] that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, says the LORD of hosts.”
Here is a place in scripture where we can see how to PROVE God. If we want to find out if God really exists, and if He is true to His Word, all we have to do is be consistent in paying the tithe and giving offerings.
Notice that there is a difference in “tithes” and “offerings.” The tithe is what we PAY God. Offerings are what we GIVE to God (above the tithe). The tithe is like a tax on the land. God has been good to let us live on the Planet Earth, and has made a way for us to have sustenance from it. We pay God the tithe as a kind of holy tax in respect for WHOM He is and WHAT He can do for us.
We are not really giving to God until AFTER we have paid the tithe. Whenever you have income or net profit, it is time to pay the tithe to Him. Daily, weekly, monthly, annually . . . in whatever period you receive profit, wages, or net income . . . or when something is given to you. After that, you GIVE your OFFERING out of thanksgiving and love.
Notice, that God promises to pour you out a blessing so great that you won’t have room (space) enough to receive it. I know lots of people who make really good money; however, they don’t tithe and have lots of sickness, medical bills, accidents . . . and are constantly being devoured financially, physically, and emotionally by the devourer, Satan.
God promises to rebuke Satan from devouring your finances and well being if you will pay your tithes and give your offerings to the Lord. You won’t have to rebuke the enemy; God, Himself, will do it for you! [Malachi 3:11]
Verse 12 even shows the blessing of a nation that tithes, which is what God expected of Israel. In the Millennium, Israel will gladly tithe and offer to the Lord in Jerusalem.
“And all nations shall call you blessed: for you shall be a delightful land, says the LORD of hosts.” [Malachi 3:12] A “delightful” land means one where there is pleasure and value and where things desired are granted.
Yeshua taught us, “The thief [the devil] comes not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: but I am come that you might have life, and that you might have it more abundantly.” [John 10:10] The enemy, Satan, wants to steal from you and your family, to kill you, and to destroy you. But Jesus wants to give you ABUNDANT LIFE!
If you will exercise your PRIVILEGE to tithe and offer to God consistently and faithfully, He will give you PROTECTION from the devourer and rebuke him, and cause you to experience PRODUCTIVITY in your land (or the arena of your involvement: spiritual, physical and mental).
MEETING NEEDS
True spirituality is “seeing a need and meeting it.” Sometimes, you may not be able to physically meet the needs of other people. But, you can always take the people to God in prayer. Actually, that’s what ministry is: “serving people by taking them to God”. Our beloved brother James said, “Suppose there are brothers or sisters who need clothes and don’t have enough to eat. What good is there in your saying to them, ‘God bless you! Keep warm and eat well!’ — if you don’t give them the necessities of life? So it is with faith: if it is alone and has no actions with it, then it is dead.” [James 2:15-17]
Prayer is an “action” that you can always take. It is not an excuse to keep from helping someone in a physical way. The most important thing you can always give a person is the Word of God. If you give money to a poor person, he will usually end up being poor again; however, if you give him the Gospel (all the Good News, not part of it), he will learn how to serve God and to tithe and offer to His Heavenly Father; then, God will take care of him and he will not starve in time of famine. [Read Psalm 33:18-19; Psalm 37:18-19; Job 5:19-27; Malachi 3:10-11.]
Some Christians make the mistake of giving people money or physical help but without giving them the Good News of Christ. People need to know how to be saved and to walk in the prosperity and the health and the power of God. They need to know how to live a victorious life: how to have power over the world, the flesh, and the devil! Other Christians make the mistake of giving people the Word of God, but never helping them physically. What does the Word of God tell you to do?
Read James 2:15-17 again. It is talking about a Christian brother or sister who is in need of the “necessities of life”: things needful to the body. It is NOT talking about someone who is making a living by taking advantage of you or the saints; it is talking about a brother or sister in the Lord: someone who belongs to Christ, who needs help and who comes to you for help. Study carefully Deuteronomy 15:7-11. God, through Moses, gave instruction to Jews about taking care of their Jewish brethren who were poor and needy.
Satan would like to steal all your money by condemning you with guilt for not feeding the world (a hunger situation caused by the devil, himself, when he tempted man to separate himself from God in the Garden of Eden). With all your money gone, you will then have nothing left with which to buy Bibles, or to help the saints in need, or to purchase media for the Gospel to be preached on TV or radio or the Internet. No money for DVD’s to get out the gospel. No money left to buy bicycles to travel to villages with the Gospel. No money left to evangelize the lost or to teach the saints. No money left for you to get together with your Christian brothers and sisters and worship you Father God!
So what do you do in a situation which involves another person’s need? Here’s your answer: If it is NOT a close Christian brother or sister as described in James 2:5-17, (God’s Word already tells you what to do in that case), then your first action should be to PRAY:
1. Pray, and take the person to God, asking God to give them a miracle and to meet their need.
2. Pray, and ask God to show you what you should do, if anything, to help the other person (or people). God’s answer to you will usually come in one of three ways, as outlined in A, B, or C below:
A. “Do this…” (A certain specific action to take in order to help the other person in part or in full, either temporarily or permanently.)
B. “Do whatever you feel you should; whatever is right according to the scriptures.” (Read carefully Matthew 5:42 and Luke 6:30-36.)
C. “Don’t do anything!” (God may tell you to do something later on.)
Jesus said, “Give to him who asks you, and do not turn from him who wants to borrow from you.” [Matthew 5:42] He also told us, “Of him who takes away your goods, do not ask them back again … but love your enemies, do good, and lend, hoping for nothing back again; and your reward shall be great, and you shall be the children of the Highest; for He is kind to the unthankful and to the evil. Therefore, you be merciful, like your Father also is merciful.” [Luke 6:30-36]
You may feel that there is a conflict between #B and #C under Item #2 above. Not so! The answer lies in priority and your responsibility under God. A person may come to you to borrow $50 (or 50 Francs or 50 Cedi or 50 Pesos or 50 Lira or 50 Rupees) and you may have it in your possession; however, your first priority is NOT to loan either your friend or your enemy $50; it is to take care of your responsibility, under God, to either your landlord or your family, whichever the case may be.
It is also possible that God may answer you with #A above and tell you to help a person, or to loan him $50, even though your family is hungry and you owe the landlord! This is one of the times it is very important to know the voice of God: to know how to be led by the Spirit of God! Time after time, God has asked me to give away all the money that I have had. However, on other occasions, God has told me, “Don’t do anything; this is a trick of the devil to steal your money!” or “Don’t do anything; this is not a valid request!”
Another example of priority and your responsibility under God as regards helping those in need might be as follows: Let’s suppose someone comes to you and asks you for a certain amount of money; and let’s suppose, also, that for several months you have been saving money so that you can buy a particular piece of equipment that you need for God’s work: something that will help you reach more people for Christ.
Or, perhaps, you have been saving money for a particular evangelistic project, possibly to reach several million people with the message of Christ. To whom is your priority in this case? The millions of people who are lost and on their way to Hell, or the one man who needs physical help?
Which is more important in regards to your responsibility to God: Obeying the Scriptural command of Jesus in Matthew 5:42, “Give to him who asks you, and do not turn away from him who wants to borrow from you,”; or obeying the Scriptural Command of Jesus in the Great Commission, “Go … and teach (disciple) all nations.” If God has been leading you to save money to reach people for Christ, would it not be unwise to then give it away? Rather, would it not be the devil wanting to take it away? This is why you must know how to be led by the Spirit of God!
Why are you in the ministry, or service, of God? First, you are to serve God; next, you are to serve mankind. “The Son of Man (Jesus) came not to be served, but to serve others.” You are to love God first; and then to love your neighbor as yourself. 1. You can always PRAY for others and take them to God for a miracle. 2. You can GIVE GOD’S WORD to others. 3. Sometimes you can give PHYSICAL HELP to others.
The greatest work is to help people eternally; but it is also good if you can help them while they are here on earth. There are many ways to help a person here on earth, but the “highest way” is to help them to know God personally.
Then, they can PRAY for themselves and for others.
Then, they can GIVE GOD’S WORD to others.
Then, they can give PHYSICAL HELP to others.
They will have God to help them, to lead them, to keep them alive in famine, and to help them to help others. God will be their Father!
True spirituality is “seeing a need and meeting it!”

You may want to print an extra copy to carry with you at work or when you are traveling. Read them prayerfully and meditate upon them unto they are ingrained in your spirit: until they become part of you. And then review them regularly. You will prosper, and you will maintain that prosperity!

The title of this newsletter may seem oxymoronic. How can you have UNlimited goals and succeed in accomplishing them? Answer: by NOT limiting your goals. Usually the main thing people omit when establishing goals is NOT allowing for self-perpetuating growth or augmentation.
Years ago I gave three automobiles away to three different ministers of the Gospel. I had walked for three years before the Lord blessed me with the first auto I gave away; and I walked in between the time I gave the others away. I am now driving the ??th automobile (I forgot how many) that the Lord has given me. Seven of the autos were Cadillacs (the most expensive auto made in the USA) and in about half of them I had loudspeaker installations.
The Cadillacs were excellent for this setup because they had ample space between the front grille and the radiator to enable the sideways installation of a large 110 watt police horn speaker. Inside the cars were also installed amplifiers and secret (hidden) microphones. This way I could preach while driving and have both hands on my steering wheel. The sound was so loud from the loudspeaker that one time while driving down an interstate freeway, going about 70 mph, the cattle in a field a long way from the road even turned to look as I was preaching.
In large metropolitan cities I would preach while stopping at the red lights while the crowds of pedestrians would cross the street. Sometimes people would risk getting run over and hurriedly walk (almost run) through (against) the red light just to get away from God’s Word.
One time while driving through the mountains the Lord impressed me to stop the car and preach on the loudspeaker. There weren’t any people or buildings around that I could see but I obeyed anyway. I didn’t know until a few minutes later that there were men working down the mountainside building a house. I preached to them from Hebrews 3:4, “For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God.”
Whenever I’m home, in the morning I step out on the roof veranda and look at some of the most beautiful buildings in the world with architecturally superb designs. Amazed at their grandeur, I also reflect on all the planning, money, risk, coordination, and time that went into building them. And I always thing of that verse in Hebrews 3:4, “For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God.”
When I first look at the buildings, even with my engineering background, I think, “How can men build these fantastic buildings?” And then I think, “But God built ALL things … he made the men and the materials; and gave men the knowledge and skills needed to construct and finish them.”
I want to encourage you. You can do something far BIGGER than build buildings like these. You can make disciples for Messiah Yeshua and MULTIPLY your ministry / vision through many future generations.

First of all, never get so busy that you don’t have time to dream! What is that BIG work you want to do for God? You CAN DO it!
“With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” [Matthew 19:26]
“If you can believe, all things are possible to him that believes.” [Mark 9:23]
“And all things, whatever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.” [Matthew 21:22]
“For every house is built by someone, but He who built all things is God.” [Hebrews 3:4]
Here is one of YOUR KEYS to success:
If your plans fit into God’s plan … you will have God’s faith … and God’s faith always works!
This is one reason it is imperative to see the importance of Israel, Jerusalem, and God’s chosen people, the Jews, in the divine plan of God. For this reason, to help you, I recently wrote the newsletters “The Millennial Kingdom (Part A) and (Part B).”
“When the most High divided to the nations their inheritance, when He separated the sons of Adam, He set the bounds of the people according to the number of the children of Israel. For the Lord’s portion is His people; Jacob [Israel] is the lot of His inheritance.” [ Deuteronomy 32:8-9]
In my booklet, “How To Win the World for Christ,” you will find seven (7) keys for reaching the whole world.
Multiplication of ministry starts with the BELIEF in the potential of one person. This is where discipleship is important. K. Bruce Miller drives home this idea: “Would you spend as much time preparing yourself to meet the needs of one person as you would preparing a sermon for five thousand? How much do you believe in the potential of one?”
In my teaching on “Anointing of Multiplication” you will find how to multiply your ministry.
In the teaching “How to Start a Church” you will find a simple, effective way to start a synagogue or church in any neighborhood, city, barrio, or village.
A few years ago I prophesied to my oldest daughter, Ariel, that she would start teaching God’s Word. I bought her a new study Bible and gave it to her. About a month later she called me and told me that the Lord was having her start teaching . She and her husband and another couple started a home Bible study with about 6 to 10 people, alternating from each home. The other couple finally felt the Lord leading to start a church, and in about three years grew to 1,500 people attending. Around 400 of those attending were new Christians, having given their lives to the Lord within the previous year.
MUSIC
When you have a dream or vision that you want to accomplish for God, the main thing you need to decide on at the outset is that you will NOT quit … you will NOT give up!
If you don’t quit, you’ll WIN! … But if you quit, you can’t win!
Thomas Edison failed over 30,000 times before inventing the light bulb. The Bible says, “A just man falls seven times, and rises up again.” [Proverbs 24:16]
You have time, talent, and treasure with which to serve the Lord. God is watching for your faithfulness. Are you consistent in good times as well as bad? Are you BELIEVING for the accomplishment of your vision through the years when you don’t SEE fruit, production, or growth? Does your plan fit into God’s plan?
Read Luke 11:5-15. Importunity means to keep on asking; approach God with your requests as persistent and pressing.
“And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For everyone that asks, receives; and he that seeks, finds; and to him that knocks, it shall be opened.” [Luke 11:9-10]
Have only super BIG, positive, more-than-maximum, Unlimited goals. And … keep enlarging them. Refuse to have small, negative, limiting thoughts, dreams, and visions. Say to yourself, “I refuse to think or envision anything negative, small, minimal, or limited.”
Zechariah 4:10 says, “For who has despised the day of small things?” Don’t worry about STARTING small … just make sure the goal – the vision – is BIG and unlimited.
Associate with positive winners! It would be better to be alone, and hang out with Jesus, than to associate with the wrong people. There’s an old saying, “If you want to see what you’ll become, look at the people you’re with whom you associate.” This is “the law of the group.” We associate ourselves with people we are like.
Find somebody who is positive and successful and spend quality time with them. If you can’t find anyone like that, then spend lots of time with Jesus the Messiah in fellowship, in His Word, and in prayer. I always enjoy when I can be away from people so I can spend more time talking to Jesus.

Project yourself into your visions and goals. A successful hedging investor in the commodities futures market has to do two (2) things:
1. He has to mentally place himself in the trade; and,
2. He has to ask himself, “Do I have the product or not?”
These two factors will determine the position a successful hedge investor will take. It’s the same way when you plan BIG works for God:
1. You have to mentally place yourself in the vision. See yourself at each stage of the growth. Then PLAN and PRAY accordingly. Pray ahead of time for each stage of development.
2. Ask yourself (ahead of time) at each stage of the project / vision: “Do I have what I need?” If “Yes,” pray and plan for the proper implementation. If “No,” pray and receive in faith the people and things you need.
As your vision develops and comes to pass you will need a network. A network is comprised of:
Logistics;
Communication; and,
Funding.
You need to pray ahead of time for these and receive them by faith. And don’t always look at the easy way or the path of least resistance. Also, not every package that comes your way (that has your name on it) is necessarily from God. It might be from the devil. It might be from a Christian. For example, you might receive an offer of funding or help from a Christian source, but make sure you pray about it before receiving it. It may NOT be God’s will. I’ve given lots of money back to people after they gave it to me, and sometimes when it was offered to me.
Read 2 Chronicles 25:9. King Amaziah had hired 100,000 mighty men to help him fight and had paid 100 talents of silver. Afterwards the man of God told King Amaziah not to go carry out his plans to use these men. Amaziah then told the man of God, “What shall we do for the 100 talents that I have given them?” And the man of God answered him, “But God is able to give you much more than this.”
How LARGE can you ASK?
How BIG can you THINK?
“Now unto Him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ASK or THINK, according to the power that works in us …” [Ephesians 3:20]
TRY THIS VISION:
A Holy Spirit baptized church or Messianic synagogue in every neighborhood and village of the earth.
A Holy Spirit baptized witness in every house, home, or family of the earth.
Take this message, my friend, and reach the whole world with the Good News of Yeshua, the Messiah of Israel.

VISION, VALOR, AND VICTORY
King Hezekiah was a man who did what was good, right, and truthful. Everything he was involved in was carried out with all his heart; and he prospered.
“This Hezekiah did throughout all Judah, and he did what was good and right and true before the Lord his God. And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God, in the law and in the commandment, to seek his God, he did it with all his heart. So he prospered.” [2 Chronicles 31:20-21]
All people should live a life that is right before God, but leaders especially have a greater responsibility to do so. With that responsibility comes an attendant blessing. When you are in the arena, you will be shot at. If you want to be used greatly by God, then make your mind up ahead of time that you are NOT going to quit, and you are NOT going to run away!
If you quit, you can’t win. But if you don’t quit, you’ll win!
This doesn’t mean that you will have the strength or wisdom in your self; but you are determined to stand in faith, believing and drawing upon the resources of God.
The Assyrians were a cruel and treacherous military force. They resorted to terrible means of torture and were also a formidable foe. After Hezekiah’s deeds of faithfulness, Sennacherib king of Assyria came and entered Judah. He encamped against the fortified cities, thinking to win them over to himself.
When Hezekiah saw this, and realized that Sennacherib’s purpose was to make war against Jerusalem, he gathered his leaders and commanders together and encouraged them.
“Be strong and courageous; do not be afraid nor dismayed before the king of Assyria, nor before all the multitude that is before him: for there are more with us than with him. With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the Lord our God, to help us and to fight our battles.” And the people were strengthened by the words of Hezekiah king of Judah. [2 Chronicles 32:7-8]
Because of the impending danger, King Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah prayed and cried out to heaven. Then the Lord sent an angel who cut down every mighty man of valor, every leader, and every captain in the army of Assyria. So the King of Assyria returned shamefaced to his own land, and was killed by his own family.
“And it came to pass on a certain night that the angel of the Lord went out, and killed in the camp of the Assyrians 185,000 men; and when people arose early in the morning, there were the corpses – all dead.” [2 Kings 19:35; 2 Chronicles 32:9-23]
God still uses angels today. Psalm 34:7 tells us “The angel of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him, and delivers them.” Surely there are many times the angels deliver and protect us and we don’t even know about it. But, in addition – like many of the promises of God – we need to KNOW God’s Word so we can ACCESS God’s resources. We need to appropriate them by faith. We need to BELIEVE and PRAY as Hezekiah did. Vision begins with a purpose … and that purpose is to SEE the dream become a reality! There are five (5) basic steps in this process:
1. Dream;
2. Plan;
3. Preparation;
4. Logistics; and,
5. Action.
In action – and sometimes in the first four steps above – we engage the adversary as Hezekiah did. We implement our plans and put in place those things and people we have prepared, and that the Lord has assigned to us. Then we utilize the resources within our command to take action. Gideon had some clay vessels and candles. Moses had a rod. What is it that God has placed in your hand? What are those things you will BELIEVE God to bring into your access? It is your duty to use your faith. Faith is your servant. Read Luke 17:5-10.
Many times it is the thing that is in our hand or our heart that is our greatest resource. Are we turning the gifts of God away through unbelief? Are we afraid to leave our comfort zone? Use your faith – it is your DUTY to use it! I am reminded of a man and his wife who won $1,000,000 USD. When the authorized bearers of the prize tried to contact the couple, they were repeatedly turned away. The man and his wife would not answer their phone calls, or respond to their letters. They thought it was a joke. Finally, the man and his wife decided that they would at least see what the communication was about. The bearers of the prize were authorized one more time to attempt delivery to the man and his wife. They responded at the last minute.
How many times do we NOT receive God’s MIRACLES because of unbelief, or because of taking things for granted? We have the ability to DREAM and IMAGINE. We can establish a VISION and believe God for its fulfillment. When was the last time you dreamed for God? Imagine what your life and ministry would be like if the present hindrances were removed. One of the great promises in the Holy Bible is found in Jeremiah 33:3. “Call to me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things which you do not know.”
In his book The Weight of Glory, C. S. Lewis said “Our Lord finds our desires not too strong, but too weak.” What can you IMAGINE or THINK? For what can you ASK God? “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.” [Ephesians 3:20]
Once your dream is starting to take form – that is, when it becomes a reality – your VALOR will be tested: by God … and by the enemy of your soul: the devil. You will have to make up your mind ahead of time to be a champion, to be valiant. God is looking for champions like the people of faith who went before us, who “Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.” [Hebrews 11:34]
As you move out with the VISION, know that God has designed your VICTORY, but you have to have VALOR and stand in faith, calling upon Him for strength, wisdom, and MIRACLES. One thing that will help you is when you realize that God will use your enemy to help promote you: just like He did Pharaoh. God hardened Pharaoh’s heart so that the Lord would be SET APART in the eyes of the Egyptians. And so God will use the reality of your vision so that He might be set apart in the eyes of people in every nation, tribe, family, and language of the earth. [Exodus 9:13-16; Romans 9:17] Just as God used angelic ministry to help King Hezekiah and his people, so God will use the angels to help you, if you will PRAY and CRY OUT to Heaven like Hezekiah and Isaiah.
The magicians could not stand before Moses [Exodus 9:11], and neither will the enemy’s people stand before you. There will be a severance – a setting apart – for God’s servants. There is a difference for those anointed for ministry: not “haphazard” ministry, but ministry anointed through prayer, fasting, listening, and obedience! The Lord makes a difference between His people and the people of the enemy. Read prayerfully the following verses; they are God’s Word for you at this time:
Exodus 8:23;
Exodus 9:26;
Exodus 11:7
The two most important things you can do to enlarge your VISION and engage the enemy with VALOR are:
1. Sit at the feet of Jesus; and,
2. Live holy.
Then your VICTORY will be assured!

HOW TO SUCCEED WITH NOTHING
MUSIC / INTRO
While looking out my window one afternoon, the Lord asked me two questions:
“If you had nothing and had nobody to help you, how would you fulfill the Great Commission?”
“What would you tell the believers who are in prison, being persecuted for their faith, about how to reach the world for Messiah?”
I had been meditating that afternoon about such things, and the answer to the two questions the Lord asked came succinctly. I wrote down my answer to the Lord immediately, listing the following seven (7) tools with which to carry out the job … and win the world for Messiah Yeshua.
1. God’s Word, the Holy Bible;
2. Faith;
3. Prayer;
4. Jesus’ name;
5. Tongues;
6. Forgiveness; and,
7. Vision.
[] GOD’S WORD, THE HOLY BIBLE
In the Bible I can find 7,000 promises from God that are available to me, and from which I may appropriate my needs, deliverance, healing, favor, direction, and MIRACLES.
I would see in the Bible that God wants me to witness for Messiah: to give evidence of what Messiah has done for me through my words and actions. I would see that God wants me to lead people to Messiah and to train them. [Matthew 18:18-20] This would involve training them to do everything that Jesus had commanded me to do, including baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. I could help them perform Mikvah … or, baptize them in rivers, lakes, churches, oceans, bathtubs, or in tarpaulins in the desert.
This training would involve teaching them to witness for Christ, and to share their testimony with others. It would also include: preaching and teaching; healing the sick, and casting out demons. I would see the great need of establishing a school “behind every bush” to train believers.
In the Bible I would see God’s plan for the ages, and God’s plan for me. I would see God’s plan for the Synagogue and Church: the universal invisible Body of Messiah, and the local gathering of believers, whether two or three … or thousands … meeting together.
Yeshua taught us, “For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.” [Brit Chadashah: Mattiyahu (Matthew) 18:20]
I would see the importance of establishing local synagogues and churches: groups of believers who gather to study God’s Word, to pray, and to worship Him; and from where the local community and government may be blessed; as well as people in other nations.
In the Bible I see God’s goals for Planet Earth and the Second Appearing of Messiah Jesus to Jerusalem to establish His kingdom for 1,000 years. I see that before He returns, the Gospel will be proclaimed and published among every nation, race, tribe, people, and ethnic group of the earth. [Mark 13:10]
[] FAITH
I would use my faith, based upon God’s promises in His Word and knowing what God wants (His will made known in His Word), to create and bring things into being. I would use faith, the same kind of faith that Abraham used, to believe God for what He says in His Word.
“Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, ‘So shall your seed be’.”
“And being not weak in faith, he [Abraham] considered not his own body now dead, when he was about a hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb [who was about 90]:
He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
And being fully persuaded that, what God had promised, He was able also to perform.” [Romans 4:18-21]
So … if you KNOW what God has promised you in His Word, all you have to do is BELIEVE and OBEY … like Abraham!
MUSIC
[] PRAYER
Jesus taught us, “And all things, whatsoever you shall ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive.” [Matthew 21:22].
I would use prayer not only to talk to God and be in close companionship with Him, but also to make my requests known to Him. I would tell Him what I need and want, and ask for advice as to how to operate to achieve my goal.
James, the first bishop of the church at Jerusalem, and the Lord’s brother, taught us:
“If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, Who gives to all men liberally, and does not reprimand for asking; and it shall be given to you.” [James 1:5]

[] JESUS’ NAME
Jesus said, “If you shall ask anything in my name, I will do it.” [John 14:14]
When you as a believer use the name of Jesus you are identifying with the Master of the universe. It is that name at which demons and Satan tremble, and at which they must become subservient to you. Jesus said, “And these signs shall follow them that believe: In my name they shall cast out demons; they shall speak with new tongues …” [Mark 16:17]
The name of Jesus lets demons know the authority in and under which you are operating. It is not only your Power of Attorney, but it is also your POWER! It is the name which gives you life.
“But these are written, that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you might have life through his name.” [John 20:31]
Use the name of Jesus to not only bring deliverance to others, but to maintain your own freedom, power, and blessing. And so it is with the name of YAHWEH, the Hebrew name of The LORD: the self existent One.
“The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous run into it, and are safe.” [Proverb 18:10]
[] TONGUES
Tongues, the language of the Spirit, is the software that makes it possible for you to decree supernaturally. When you speak in faith, based upon God’s Word and will, you decree miraculously. However, there are times when you do NOT know what to decree … OR … how to speak the proper programming language. Tongues, the language of the Holy Spirit, enables the believer in Christ to accomplish this.

[] FORGIVENESS
Yesterday, a person who is not a Christian asked me this question: “In what area of your life are you most often challenged to use your faith?” I didn’t have to think long. My answer was, “In the area of forgiveness.” This is an area in which we need to make sure we are “clear” at the start of every day. And, actually, at the end of every day!
I remember as a little boy, one night just after I had covered up in bed, my older sister said to me, “Daddy told us never to go to bed mad at each other.” And then we made up with each other. The Holy Bible tells us, “Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath.” [Ephesians 4:26]
It may not be a wrathful or angry situation that is bothering you. It may be a strained relationship, bad thoughts towards someone, a word of gossip. Or, it may be nothing you’ve done wrong; it may be something someone has said or done to you … or said about you … and that is bothering you, especially if you are undeserving of the words or action.
Jesus taught us, “For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if you forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” [Matthew 6:14-15] Unforgiveness is something you can’t take to Heaven!
In Mark 11:22-26, Jesus told the disciples, “Have faith in God.” He taught them about speaking in faith, and about receiving in faith. However, he also taught them at the end of this contextual passage that there was something that could hinder them from receiving miracles and answered prayer: it was unforgiveness.
“And when you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone: so that your Father also which is in Heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in Heaven forgive your trespasses.” [Verses 25 and 26]
If God can forgive us of a whole lifetime of sin and disobedience – even sins about which no person on earth knows – can we not forgive someone else for the one, or a few, or even many sins they have committed towards us?! And … if our Heavenly Father had not made a WAY for us to be forgiven by sending His only Son to die in our place on the cross stake … we would be under the constant condemnation of death and Hell. How can we not forgive others?!
Every day I start my day with what is commonly known as the Lord’s Prayer (the disciples prayer He taught them). I clear out any unforgiveness or bitterness so that I can pray successfully and in power … AND … so I can experience success. My prayers for myself, friends, associates, and loved ones … and the prayers for others around the world … depend upon me forgiving others.
“And you be kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake has forgiven you.” [Ephesians 4:32]
[] VISION
When was the last time you “dreamed” for God? IMAGINE! What would your life and ministry be like if your present hindrances were removed? And, what would your life be like if you could accomplish all the things you IMAGINE … or ASK for? C. S. Lewis, in his book The Weight of Glory, said, ” … our Lord finds our desires not too strong, but too weak!”
David succeeded in killing the giant, Goliath, the same way the two men of faith, Caleb and Joshua, succeeded in entering the promise land: because he SAW, as they did, obstacles as opportunities for MIRACLES: avenues through which God could be glorified! The size of the person is more important than the size of the problem. Who are you on the inside and in Whom do you trust!
Don’t focus on the giants … focus on God. That’s why the enemy lies to you. The devil wants to get your attention away from your Heavenly Father: away from His love for you and His ability to provide for you.

Jeshua taught us, “But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.” [Luke 5:38] Think PAST the limits of your mind. Stretch out your horizon of ENDEAVORS and THOUGHTS. “These things began Jesus both to DO and to TEACH.” Base your thoughts, your goals, and your endeavors upon God’s Holy Word. Use your faith!
Think BIG!
Believe!
Receive!
Act!
Multiply!
To SEE with the mind’s eye … that is, to envision … can encompass the following: imagination, thinking, and decision making. To “cut out” with the mind’s eye is to SEE IT, or to THINK IT upon the tablet of your heart or human spirit.
In Job 22:28 we read, “You shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto you…” In the original Hebrew language the word “decree” is a primitive root form of the word “gazar“, which means “to cut out exclusively, or to decide“. In its primitive form it is used also as a “quarrying” term … as in cutting out stone from a rock quarry. It means more than to “say” or “speak.” It conveys the meaning of “cutting something out in your mind’s eye”; that is, “to envision [to make a vision], to decide upon it, and confess it” … and then it will be established unto you!
To decree is the progenitor (or, precursor) of heart belief and mouth confession. It is BOTH the nucleus and “all-encompassing” embryo of initiating great moves of the Holy Spirit on Planet Earth. This is why we need to SPEND TIME MEDITATING GOD’S WORD. We’re NOT talking about New Age type meditation, which can actually be used, and even energized, by demonic forces. We’re talking about MEDITATING God’s Word so we KNOW HOW to work in alignment with our Father in Heaven, Jehovah.
Increase your vision. What can you SEE? What can you IMAGINE? How greatly can you ASK or THINK?
“Now unto Him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ASK or THINK, according to the power that works in us, unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen.” [Ephesians 3:20, 21]
At the beginning of this podcast I shared with you two questions the Lord asked me:
“If you had nothing and had nobody to help you, how would you fulfill the Great Commission?”
“What would you tell the believers who are in prison, being persecuted for their faith, about how to reach the world for Messiah?”
I answered those two questions in this teaching. You might ask me: “How do you know what it’s like to be in jail for Yeshua?” I know because I HAVE BEEN in jail for Jesus … for preaching His Gospel. Never teach what you can’t do.
“The former treatise have I made, O Theophilus, of all that Jesus began to DO and TEACH.” [Acts 1:1]
Nine (9) people were saved as a result of the Holy Spirit using me to preach inside the jail cell, plus the Lord gave me victory in one of the largest court cases of this kind.
“Then said Yeshua unto him, ‘Go, and do thou likewise’.” [Luke 10:37]

THE NEW YOU
When I was a young boy there was a family of trash collectors who would come down our alley every week to collect trash from the neighborhood and the local grocery.
I always felt good when they came by because they called me by name, and because of that I felt important. I also noticed a very marked difference about them: they always exuded joy. And after many years I discovered why: they knew Jesus!
No one in the community – wealthy, poor, business owners, educators – had the joy they had. They were prosperous in their hearts. As they folded boxes and collected trash, they manifested the presence of the Lord.
My family knew many people: political, religious, business, educational, and union leaders. However, NO family left their mark on a little boy like the Turner family: the trash collectors. The seed of God’s JOY in them made an indelible imprint on my mind and heart.
Through the years I have come to realize that one of the marks of the Christian – even in sorrow and trials – is JOY.
“For the JOY of the Lord is your strength.” [Nehemiah 8:10]
“You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fullness of JOY; and at your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.” [Psalm 16:11]
“And the disciples were filled with JOY, and with the Holy Ghost.” [Acts 13:52]
I know that I will see the Turner family in Heaven, and have the privilege to live with them forever. I would rather collect trash and be filled with God’s JOY than have all the riches of this world.
There are three (3) instructions the Lord has given me to communicate with you in this teaching. The reason I shared with you about the Turner family is because JOY will be the resultant of these three instructions from the Lord … JOY will be imparted to you as a permanent commodity as you learn to draw near the Spirit and fulfill your objectives on Planet Earth. Below are the three instructions from the Lord.
INSTRUCTION 1
You’re about to lose your vision. Don’t do it. Don’t give up!
If you don’t quit, you’ll win. But, if you quit, you can’t win!
“Where there is no vision, the people perish.” [Proverb 29:18a]
Because your vision is LARGER … and WORLD ENCOMPASSING, it has taken longer to develop. It has taken longer to prepare the natural infrastructure and logistics. These have been in a stage of preparation behind the scenes by the Holy Spirit and the Holy Watchers (the Holy Angels).
Also, the enemy has lied to you, telling you that your vision objectives are not going to be fulfilled. You can prove the devil wrong! Here’s how: the Lord told me to tell you to look at the bits and pieces that have been, and are already, coming in place. These are the tips of the iceberg.
The system is in place in God’s mind and economy because of your prayers, fasts, sacrifices, and faith. But now the enemy is trying to discourage you so that you will drop your vision … and in doing so it would be aborted. But the Spirit of God is NOT going to let you do that, and He is sending me to VALIDATE your victory.
You will SUCCEED. As a matter of fact, God wants you to ask Him for MORE than you have been asking. Here’s a secret: share your NEW JOY that will be imparted to you with the Lord. “Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart.” [Psalm 37:4] The Hebrew word used here for delight means to have pleasurable emotion. You’re going to go through!

INSTRUCTION 2
God isn’t finished with you yet, my friend. Many of you reading this newsletter are about to experience a MAJOR CHANGE in your ministry and life. For some of you this word is a confirmation of what God has already been speaking to you. For others, you will receive the witness of the Holy Spirit concerning the same.
You will begin to see how things in the past have been used by God to fashion the NEW YOU!
Some of these things in the past were brought about by the faults and sins of other people … some were brought about as a result of your own disobedience … and some through obedience. BUT GOD …!
“BUT GOD … even when we were dead in sins … has quickened us together with Christ …” [Ephesians 2:4-7]
“BUT GOD raised Him from the dead.” [Acts 13:30]
“BUT GOD commends His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” [Romans 5:8]
BUT GOD can turn around the plans and devices of the enemy and make them serve God’s purpose. God loves you, my friend! If God can use a murderer like Moses, if God can use a fornicator like Samson, if God can use a murderer and adulterer like King David … all of whom repented and were cleansed … then God can use you! Nobody loves you like Jesus!
You will SEE how things in the past have brought you to be the NEW YOU: one who has a close, intimate walk with the Holy Spirit. Trials and hard times have made you a new sharp threshing instrument. But don’t live in the past … and don’t be the old you any longer.
That’s why God is bringing changes in your life and ministry: geographical changes, ministry changes, relational changes. And, in the future you will look back again and SEE how you were like Ruth in the Tanakh (the Old Testament). Read the Book of Ruth; it contains only four chapters but the Spirit will speak many great things to you concerning your future.
The NEW YOU is being marked with the JOY of the Lord! This will be your sign and the enemy cannot hinder it. The joy will be your sustaining strength, and because of this strength you will have peace in all matters and concerns of life: large and small; familial and interpersonal; secular and spiritual; business and recreational. As a result, you will REST more: physically and mentally. Your life – your days on earth – will be extended.
Also, concomitant with this MARK – the joy of the Lord – will be extra elements of angelic protection.
Your life and ministry will be in retrospect like Ruth’s.
- Ruth was shut out: by society and by the Law.
- Ruth experienced great loss and sadness.
- Ruth left her comfort zone.
- Ruth experienced great cultural change.
- Ruth was not ashamed to do menial work.
- Ruth pledged allegiance to Israel’s God.
- Ruth found favor with God and man.
- Ruth was blessed with a new family and mate.
- Ruth was liberated permanently.
- Ruth was blessed with wealth.
- Ruth became the progenitor of Messiah and his seed line. (You will extend the seed line of Messiah by the people you bring to Him.)

INSTRUCTION 3
Never be afraid to leave your comfort zone.
If Ruth had not left her comfort zone, none of the blessings would have overtaken her.
I know of a case concerning a businessman who was called to preach several years ago. He put off the call for several years until he felt he could financially make the move. When he was financially secure, he decided to quit his business and obey the Lord’s leading.
He told his pastor in Michigan (USA) that he wanted to go into the ministry. The pastor told him that he would like him to preach in 30 days at the Sunday evening service. The man prepared a message and when that Sunday evening arrived he went to the pulpit to preach. When he opened his mouth to preach … nothing came out! He could NOT speak. As far as I know, he never regained the ability to speak.
Dietrich Bonhoeffer, a German theologian, was martyred by the Nazis at the age of 39 in 1945. He was involved with the German underground and hanged as a result. In his book, The Cost of Discipleship, he wrote:
“The new situation must be created – the impossible situation in which everything is staked solely on the word of Jesus. The road to faith passes through obedience to the call of Jesus. Unless a definite step is demanded, the call vanishes into thin air, and if people imagine that they can follow Jesus without taking this step, they are deluding themselves.” [1]
Don’t put off what God is calling you to do. You may have been serving God for years in ministry but you must realize there is NO seniority in God’s vineyard. If you don’t do the job, God will find someone else. Don’t be afraid to leave your comfort zone IF God is leading you to another field of ministry.
God is LARGE and IN CHARGE! Your identity is in Him!

- Don’t lose your VISION … don’t give up.

- Never be afraid to leave your COMFORT ZONE.
- You will SUCCEED … your vision will come to pass.

How God spoke to a person in a laundromat to go pray for Prince Handley (the person did not know him) and the miraculous healing that resulted. Plus, eleven people gave their lives to the Lord in the hospital.
HOW GOD SPARED MY LIFE
MUSIC / INTRO
In 1969 I dedicated six weeks from before Thanksgiving through the end of the year to do open air evangelism in Los Angeles. The Lord blessed me greatly during that time with many opportunities to fast, and the power of God was manifested wonderfully with thousands of people being reached daily.
At the end of this period I was very weary and decided to visit some friends in a city about two hours away. I was there two days, rested, and returned to Los Angeles at night. As I was walking in the center of the city, I was faced with a decision. I knew if I walked in the same direction I was going that in about two blocks I would find Christian friends holding an open air meeting and I could preach with them.
But I made a BAD decision. I decided to turn left and go down a dark street … away from the Christians. I not only turned away from PHYSICAL light, but I turned away from SPIRITUAL light. There is nothing wrong with resting, but that night I turned away from a great opportunity to reach many more people for Christ, and also to be an encouragement to brothers and sisters on the front lines for Messiah.
As I was walking down the dark street two men began to follow me and then one stepped beside me. I knew they were up to mischief so I started praising God. Then one of the men stabbed me with a knife. He stabbed me hard in the abdomen near my navel and drove the knife in deeply. They tried to get my billfold (wallet) but couldn’t. It only had $12 in it anyway! I was still standing, and I began to pray for them.
I reached into my suit pocket, grabbed two little red Bibles and placed them into their hands. They threw them into the street and the man who stabbed me held the knife up to my face so I could see the blood on it (as though I didn’t know what happened). I bent over and picked up the little red Bibles from the street and tried to put them into their hands again. The man who had stabbed me tried to stab me again but couldn’t … God’s angels wouldn’t let him.
Then I turned and walked away from them across the street. Up to this time I had experienced no pain, probably because my adrenaline was pumping and my body was about to go into shock. I remembered thinking as I crossed the street, “Is this it? Am I about to die and go to Heaven?”
MUSIC
I made my way into a Mexican restaurant and tried to tell people what had happened; however, nobody spoke English. Finally, I lifted up my sweater that I was wearing under the suit coat, and showed them the blood.
Then I started experiencing the most horrible pain I could ever imagine. I never knew there was pain like that! I lay down on a booth seat in the restaurant and couldn’t get the pain to stop even by pulling my legs up tight. It felt like sand was tearing through my body. It seemed like nobody was doing anything … it seemed like eternity … but finally an emergency ambulance arrived. When they put me in the ambulance I just wanted to hold someone’s hand and I tried to hold the hand of the person in uniform – I don’t know if it was a policeman or EMT paramedic – but that person wouldn’t hold my hand.
I remember coming to consciousness a few times on a gurney in the hallway of the hospital... still in pain. Later I was told that there were so many stabbings, shootings, assaults, and accidents that Sunday night that they couldn’t get to me for six (6) hours. I didn’t know there was such pain as that.
When I finally woke up after surgery I started praising God. I was so glad not to feel the terrible pain I had experienced. I was under heavy medication and was in a room with about 10 to 15 other men. One man had been stabbed in the head several times with sharp sticks by a street gang. Others had been shot and stabbed. One man had been shot four times with a 38-caliber revolver pistol – three times in the chest and the fourth just missed his jugular vein.
I was the worst case there, however, and I had a nurse stationed permanently by my bedside. There were four tubes running in and out of my body: providing blood, nourishment, and drainage. When I became conscious, I started praising God, and the nurse said to me, “Sir, do you know where you’re at?” I said, “Yes, I’m in the hospital! Praise God!” Then she said, “Do you know what happened to you?” And I said, “Yes, I just had surgery. I was stabbed! Praise God!” It felt so good to have that pain relieved!
Nobody knew I was in the hospital. I don’t remember if it was a few minutes or a few hours after becoming conscious, but I began to experience a very serious spiritual battle at that time. It was like Satan and demons were on my left side … and God and the Holy Angels on my right side. It was as though Satan was trying to take my soul out of my body. I was tempted to just relax and go ahead and die … or to relax and just let the drugs that were going through my body take over.
Then God spoke to me strongly. He said, “Get command of this situation!” By that I knew that He meant to take mental command of the situation … to not let my mind go … but to keep control of my thoughts! I said to God, “I know you can heal long distance by people praying, but if You will just send someone to lay their hands on me and pray for me, I KNOW I will be healed!”
MUSIC
Even though nobody knew I was there, somehow a man in a laundromat heard about me being stabbed. He didn’t know me from “Adam;” however, he was a vessel of the Holy Spirit and had a healing ministry. At the time I was in the hospital – Los Angeles General Hospital – it had 2,500 rooms. (A few years later, it was remodeled and had then about 2,000 rooms.)
The man in the laundry came to the hospital, went up the elevator to the ninth floor, walked into the 9300 ward, came straight to my bed, and said, “Brother, the Lord Jesus Christ raised me from death one time, and He has sent me to pray for you that you might be healed.” He then laid his hands upon me and prayed for me, “Lord Jesus, heal my brother!” … turned around and walked away.
A group of six to eight young interns were with other doctors who were examining me and the other patients on the ward the next day. I told the doctor I had been healed and wanted something to eat … like a steak! He didn’t take me seriously and told me that if I could pass a bowel movement that he would order me something to eat. He told me that because I had several holes in my intestines as a result of the knife stab. Later, I think the next day, I went to the restroom successfully.
I also snuck out of the ward and took IV’s and fluids that were being pumped into my body — they were mounted on stands with rollers – with me. I went into another area of the hospital and started exercising. But then, a doctor recognized me and yelled at me, “What are you doing?” I said, “I’m exercising.” He said, “Don’t you know that you can rip all that silk we put in you?” (Meaning, I guess, the sutures with which they had stitched me.) Then, I told him, “I just did 21 deep knee bends!” After that, I think I was ordered to return to the (trauma) ward.
In a couple of days friends found that I was in the hospital. Reverend Al Hovey, from the Church of the Open Door, who was on staff with Dr. J. Vernon McGee, and other Christians from the Los Angeles Full Gospel Tabernacle, came to visit. Eleven people on the ward (seven patients and four nurses) received Messiah Jesus.
MUSIC
While I was in the hospital I received two (2) scriptures from two different people.
One was from a man 1500 miles away, whom I had never met, but who was a friend of my brother. That scripture was Psalm 91 … which I have claimed almost every day of my life since!
The other scripture was from a classmate with whom I had attended graduate school in theological seminary. It was Philippians 3:10.
“That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death.”
The word “power” here used, from the Greek “dunamis” means “force (literally or figuratively); and specifically MIRACULOUS POWER, usually by implication a miracle itself.“
The word “sufferings” here used, from the Greek “pathema” means “something undergone, that is, HARDSHIP or PAIN, subjectively an emotion or influence.“
I had read that verse many times, and always focused on the “power of His resurrection” but never on the “fellowship of His sufferings.” Then I thought back about the six hours I was in such horrible pain waiting in the hallway of the hospital for surgery. And I thought about my Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ – God’s only Son – who hung on a wooden cross stake SIX HOURS for me.
He went through horrible pain to take my sins upon Him … that I might be FREE! However … He did it WILLINGLY … for me, for you, and for everyone in the world: to pay for our sins … a GIFT of forgiveness … a NEW START for all who will receive Him by faith!
I walked out of the hospital by myself in six days, got on a bus, and went immediately to go preach at Broadway and 6th Avenue proclaiming the Good News of Messiah Jesus who SAVES and HEALS!
I still look at my scar at times … it’s at least nine inches long … and then I think of how some day I will SEE the scars in a Jewish rabbi who loved me enough to die for me: so that I can LIVE FOREVER in Heaven with Him and His Father!

THE MILLENNIAL KINGDOM – APPEARING HERE SOON – PART B
In the last teaching we covered key events leading up to the establishment of the Millennial Kingdom. Remember, the false Messiah or anti-Christ, will be chosen by the 10 region states that will be formed from an amalgam of the European Union (EU) or the Confederacy of Islamic States, or a combination of them both. This coming world dictator, the anti-Messiah, will be the one who implements the one world government for the New World Order, or the New World Governance.
The 10 region states that will be comprised of sub-governments in Europe, the Middle East, and Western Asia will ultimately have the political clout to control the Mediterranean. The composite of these 10 region states will be from the Middle East, Europe, Western Asia and North Africa. The final leader of this confederacy will overthrow three (3) of the 10 regions by a political, military and governmental takeover.
Today, in addition to disease and famine issues, the leaders of the dominant nations are concerned with three (3) primary factors:
1. Attaining peace among nations and ethnic groups;
2. Guaranteeing the flow of oil; and,
3. Stopping terrorism and conflict in the Middle East (especially between Israel and the Palestinians).
The CHIEF bargaining factor will be the city of Jerusalem!
Any peace settlements between Israel and the Palestinians you see now or in the future are, and will be, only temporary on the part of the Palestinians: with the motive to place themselves in an advantageous position to later wage war on Israel. This has to be, because the radical Palestinian groups will never agree to a permanent settlement.
The new world leader of the Mediterranean Confederacy (the New World Governance) will seek world wide recognition by coordinating the grand peace settlement between Israel and her enemies. However, the supposedly final peace will be the same: it is designed to deceive the Jews and to be broken. Remember … the KEY to getting the Jews to sign a treaty of peace with the Palestinians and the Arab nations is a COVENANT for seven years, which will most likely allow the Jews to build their temple on or near the Holy Mount.
In the middle of the seven years, 42 months before Messiah returns to earth to establish His kingdom, the covenant is broken by the false messiah: the world dictator. The temple will be desecrated by this dictator like Daniel foretold 2,600 years ago and Jesus foretold 2,000 years ago. (Daniel 9:27; Matthew 24:21; Revelation 13:3-8)
A few months previous to Messiah’s second appearance to earth there will have been millions of people killed in fighting and terrorism. Jerusalem will be under attack, with plunder happening from house to house, women being raped, and half the city of Jerusalem going into captivity. (Zechariah 14:2) It will be a time of trouble worse than the Nazi holocaust. (Jeremiah 30:5-6) The Jews will actually start experiencing extreme persecution after the world dictator takes over control: 42 months before Messiah returns.
There will be NO permanent peace until the Prince of Peace, Messiah Yeshua, returns and establishes His Kingdom: the Millennial Kingdom.
The spirits of demons, performing signs and counterfeit miracles (lying wonders) will be sent out by Satan to the leaders of the whole world and gather them to the great day of El Shaddai (God Almighty) at Mount Megiddo (Armageddon). Just previous to this, the Euphrates River in Iraq is dried up, to make passage for military forces from the east to attack Israel. (Revelation 16:12-14)
The whole world will be amazed by the shaking of the earth, an earthquake so great that every island will move away and mountains will disappear. God will pour out the fierceness of His wrath upon Babylon. (Revelation 16:17-21)
The false messiah and the leaders of the nations, with their armies, will gather together to fight against God’s Messiah, Yeshua ha Meshiach (Jesus the Christ). The leaders of the world will be deceived by the counterfeit miracles of the demons, and they will be influenced to do only what an idiot would even think about doing: fighting against the Lord!
At this time, Heaven is opened, and the King of Kings and Lord of Lords comes back to earth to fight against His enemies. He takes complete control.
The Beast (the false messiah) and his false prophet (the religious leader of the world) are cast alive into the Lake of Fire and the rest of the rebels are destroyed by the command issued by the LORD (which is symbolically represented by the sword out of His mouth). The dragon, the serpent of old – who is known as the Devil, or Satan – is then bound for 1,000 years in the bottomless pit, and shut up with a seal upon him, so that he should deceive the nations no more until the 1,000 years are finished. (Revelation 19:11 through 20:3)
After this, the Messiah begins to set up His earthly kingdom. What is it like? The kingdom of God is BOTH a literal and a spiritual kingdom. Messiah Yeshua will rule during the Millennium and His rulership will extend into eternity after the Millennium. [Editor’s note: We have capitalized the word Millennium in our writing to identify it as the scriptural reign of Messiah and to honor it as the Kingdom dynasty on Planet Earth.]
The Millennium achieves three 3) primary purposes:
1. Peace and righteousness upon earth.
“He shall judge between the nations, and rebuke many people; they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.” (Tanakh: Isaiah 2:4)
2. Establishment of Messiah’s Kingdom.
“When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the holy angels with Him, then He will sit on the throne of His glory.” (Matthew 25:31)
3. Fulfills God’s promises to Abraham, to David, and to Israel.
Abraham’s descendants would be a great nation in a literal land (Torah: Genesis 15:18-21) and David’s throne would be established forever. (2 Samuel 7:16)
The Millennial Kingdom will be a WONDERFUL place to LIVE and WORK. God created the Garden of Eden to be such a place, but then sin entered. That’s why Yeshua came to earth the FIRST TIME: to pay for our sins and redeem us from the curse. Next, He will came back the SECOND TIME to redeem the planet and rule from Jerusalem. Henry Thiessen in his book Lectures in Theology lists seven (7) reasons for the SECOND APPEARANCE of Messiah to Planet Earth.
1. So we can see Him like He is.
“Yes, dear friends, we are already God’s children, and we can’t even imagine what we will be like when Christ returns. But we do know that when He comes we will be like Him, for we will see Him as He really is.” (1 John 3:2 NLT)
2. To judge the anti-Messiah (the coming world dictator) and his false prophet and their armies.
“Then I saw the beast gathering the kings of the earth and their armies in order to fight against the one sitting on the horse and his army. And the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet … Both the beast and his false prophet were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.” (Revelation 19:19-20 – NLT)
3. To bind Satan.
“Then I saw an angel come down from heaven with the key to the bottomless pit and a heavy chain in his hand. He seized the dragon – that old serpent, the Devil, Satan – and bound him in chains for a thousand years. The angel threw him into the bottomless pit, which he then shut and locked so Satan could not deceive the nations anymore until the thousand years were finished.” (Revelation 20:1-3 – NLT)
4. To deliver Israel.
Even though Yeshua came to earth the first time for His own people, the people of Israel, they rejected Him. But God has NOT rejected His people. Rabbi Shaul (Apostle Paul) tells us that when Messiah Yeshua comes back again (the SECOND time), the Jews will accept Him.
“Did God’s people stumble and fall beyond recovery? Of course not! His purpose was to make His salvation available to the goyim [the Gentiles], and then the Jews would be jealous and want it for themselves. Now if the Gentiles were enriched because the Jews turned down God’s offer of salvation, think how much greater a blessing the world will share when the Jews finally accept it.” (Romans 11:11-12 – NLT)
5. To judge the nations of the living.
After Messiah has judged the anti-Christ and his followers, He will then gather all the nations before Him for judgment. The LIVING nations will be judged BEFORE the Millennium. (Matthew 25:31-46) All of the DEAD will be judged in the skies at the “great white throne” AFTER the Millennium. (Revelation 20:11-15)
6. To deliver and bless creation.
The Planet Earth will be a mess after the 42 months of the “time of Jacob’s trouble” (Jeremiah 30:6), also known as “the great tribulation.” (Matthew 24:21-22) King Yeshua will remove the curse of sin from the earth and restore creation to its original glory.
“The creation itself will also be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.” (Romans 8:21)
7. To set up His kingdom.
The Millennium is just ONE PART of the Kingdom of God. The prophets wrote about this kingdom in the Tanakh (the Old Testament) and also about the Messiah who would be King.
“For a child is born, a son is given to us. And the government will rest on His shoulders. These will be His royal titles: Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. His ever expanding, peaceful government will never end. He will rule forever with fairness and justice from the throne of His ancestor David. The passionate commitment of the Lord Almighty will guarantee this.” (Isaiah 9:6-7 – NLT)
Messiah Yeshua will literally sit on David’s throne in the city of Jerusalem!
Listed below are some of the benefits of living in the Kingdom. There will be:
No sickness or disease.
“And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.” (Isaiah 33:24)
“Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb shall sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.” (saiah 35:5-6)
“Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days.” In the day that the Lord binds up the bruise of His people and heals the stroke of their wound.” (Isaiah 30:26)
After six millennia of being under the curse of sin, the entire Planet Earth will be healed. Notice … it is talking about LIGHT in this scripture … NOT heat! And it talks about bruises and wounds being healed. Scientific research has proven that the ultraviolet rays of ordinary light produce healing!
No war.
“They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea.” (Isaiah 11:9)
“He shall judge between the nations, and rebuke many people; they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war anymore.” (Isaiah 2:4)
No poverty.
“And I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.” (Zechariah 8:12)
No sadness.
“For behold, I create Jerusalem as a rejoicing, and her people a joy. I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people; the voice of weeping shall no longer be heard in her, nor the voice of crying.” (Isaiah 65:18-19)
No inclement weather.
“Moreover the light of the moon shall be as the light of the sun, and the light of the sun shall be sevenfold, as the light of seven days.” (Isaiah 30:26)
“ … the ground shall give her increase and the heavens shall give their dew.” (Zechariah 8:12)
No bondage, witchcraft, magic or Satanic influence.
“And He will destroy in this mountain the face of the covering cast over all people, and the vail that is spread over the nations. He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all the faces; and the rebuke of His people shall He take away from off all the earth: for the Lord has spoken it.” (Isaiah 25:7-8)
“… and the yoke shall be destroyed because of the anointing.” (Isaiah 10:27)
Extremely long life.
People will live much longer than at present. Only sinners will die as young as 100 years old.
“No more shall an infant from there live but a few days, nor an old man who has not fulfilled his days; for the child shall die one hundred years old, but the sinner being one hundred years old shall be accursed.” (Isaiah 65:20)
Increased productivity.
“For the seed shall be prosperous: the vine shall give her fruit, and the ground shall give her increase, and the heavens shall give their dew; and I will cause the remnant of this people to possess all these things.” (Zechariah 8:12)
A house for everyone.
“They shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.” (Isaiah 65:21)
People will be born and die in the Millennium. They will have to be introduced to a saving knowledge of Messiah Jesus like anyone: they will have to make their own free will decision as to whether they want Messiah to be Lord of their lives. Israel will be especially commissioned as evangelists to the nations. (Isaiah 66:19)
From the births of new babies during this time will be people who will have to make a decision as to whether to receive Messiah as Lord or reject Him: just like people today! And … from the group who do reject Him, Satan will gather a band of rebels at the end of the Millennium to rebel against the Lord. (Revelation 20:8)
Now when the thousand years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison, and will go out to deceive the nations once again, to gather them to battle. The devil and his deceived people surround the camp of God’s people and the city of Jerusalem. Then fire comes down from God out of Heaven and destroys them.
The devil, Satan, who deceived them will then be cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast (the false messiah) AND his false prophet have already been for 1,000 years. And they will all be tormented day and night forever and ever: ages upon ages, never ending. (Revelation 21:7-15)
“And then shall the earth be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.” (Isaiah 11:9)
One of the GREATEST aspects of the Millennium will be the opportunities to serve Messiah. Actually, our service on earth here will probably dictate HOW and WHAT we get to do for Him! Almost all of the parables Jesus taught while He was here on earth the FIRST time were about PREPAREDNESS and the KINGDOM. Read them in the Gospels.
If we have been FAITHFUL in certain areas of our lives and service for the LORD here on earth before Yeshua returns the SECOND time, we will probably get to serve Him in those same areas – the areas where our hearts desire to serve and help – when He comes back and establishes His Kingdom!
“His lord said unto him, Well done, good and a faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: you enter into the joy of your lord.” (Matthew 25:23)

THE MILLENNIAL KINGDOM – APPEARING HERE SOON (PART A)
The second appearing of Messiah to Planet Earth will be the most earth shaking event ever to happen on this planet. The whole world will be tuned in to His power and glory.
A few years previous to this event, the world dictator … the false Messiah or anti-Christ … will be chosen by the 10 region states that will be formed from an amalgam of the European Union (EU) or the Confederacy of Islamic States, or a combination of them both. This coming world dictator, the anti-Messiah, will be the one who implements the one world government for the New World Order, or the New World Governance.
Turkey will be the headquarters of the NWG (New World Governance) … an amalgam of the old EU and the Confederacy of Islamic States (or a combination of them both) … and will be instrumental in choosing the New World Governance leader: the false messiah who will come to power.
In Iraq, the city of Babylon will be rebuilt to extreme luxury, and will be the center of world trade. Probably the Persian Gulf will be dredged to create an inland seaport harbor at Babylon. Babylon will be the chief concourse of not only world commerce, but also of Islamic religion and Sharia Law.
A few months previous to the second appearance of Messiah to earth there will be millions of people killed in fighting and terrorism. Jerusalem will be under attack, with plunder happening from house to house, women being raped, and half the city of Jerusalem going into captivity. (Tanakh: Zechariah 14:2) It will be a time of trouble for the Jewish People worse than the Nazi holocaust. (Tanakh: Jeremiah 30:6-7) The Jews will actually start experiencing extreme persecution about 42 months AFTER the world dictator takes over control and about 42 months BEFORE Messiah returns.
The 10 region states that will be comprised of sub-governments in Europe, the Middle East, and Western Asia will ultimately have the political clout to control the Mediterranean. The composite of these 10 region states will be from the Middle East, Europe, Western Asia and North Africa. The final leader of this confederacy will overthrow three (3) of the 10 regions by a political, military and governmental takeover.
Today, in addition to disease and famine issues, the leaders of the dominant nations are concerned with three (3) primary factors:
1. Attaining peace among nations and ethnic groups;
2. Guaranteeing the flow of oil; and,
3. Stopping terrorism and conflict in the Middle East (especially between Israel and the Palestinians).
The CHIEF bargaining factor will be the city of Jerusalem!
What to watch for: Leadership … a leader … arising from Islamic countries or Europe, maybe with a Greek-Syrian background. That would be the same ethnic mix as Antiochus Epiphanes, an archetype of the false messiah (the anti-Christ), who desecrated the Jewish Temple at the time of the Maccabean revolt. (Tanakh: Daniel 9:24-27 and Daniel 11:31). The prophecy in Daniel probably had a double fulfillment in both Antiochus Epiphanes and the anti-Christ. Yeshua (Jesus) Himself gave validation to this while He was on earth. (See Brit Chadashah: Mattiyahu 24:15)
“Therefore, when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing in the holy place, then let those who are in Judea flee into the mountains … for there will be great tribulation, such as has not been since the beginning of the world until this time, no, nor shall ever be.” (Matthew 24:15-31)
As mentioned above, Jerusalem will be under attack. This will happen probably after the “one world” system starts falling apart. The reason being that the false messiah … the world dictator … needs to maintain some semblance of beneficence to the Jews and Israel for a while after his takeover.
Remember … the KEY to getting Israel to sign a treaty of peace with the Palestinians and the Arab nations is a COVENANT for seven years, which will most likely allow the Jews to build their temple on or near the Holy Mount. In the middle of the seven years, 42 months BEFORE the real Messiah returns to earth to establish His kingdom, the covenant will be broken by the false messiah, the world dictator, and the temple will be desecrated like Daniel and Yeshua (Jesus) foretold. (Daniel 9:27; Revelation 13:3-8)
The spirits of demons, performing signs and counterfeit miracles (lying wonders) will be sent out by Satan to the leaders of the whole world and gather them to the great day of El Shaddai (God Almighty) at Mount Megiddo (Armageddon). Just previous to this, the Euphrates River in Iraq will be dried up, to make passage for military forces from the East to attack Israel. (Revelation 16:12-14)
The whole world will be amazed by the shaking of the earth, an earthquake so great that every island will move away and mountains will disappear. God will pour out the fierceness of His wrath upon the city of Babylon. (Revelation 16:17-21)
The false messiah (the anti-Christ) and the leaders of the nations, with their armies, will gather together to fight against the Messiah of God, Yeshua ha Meshiach (Jesus the Christ). The leaders of the world will be deceived by the counterfeit miracles of the demons, and they will be influenced to do only what an idiot would even think about doing: fighting against the LORD!

FEAR OF SUCCESS
God wants the BEST for you! He wants you to WIN! God wants you healthy, prosperous, successful, and productive! In the Old Testament, God told the Israelites that He wanted their days to be as the days of “Heaven upon earth.”
“That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in the land which the Lord swore unto your fathers to give them, as the days of heaven upon earth.” [Deuteronomy 11:18-21]
In the Brit Chadashah (New Testament), we read: “Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, just like your soul prospers.” [3 John 2]
However, some people cannot handle these attributes – health, prosperity, success, productivity – at a particular point in time. Therefore, God sends testings to try us and prove us. There are different reasons why He does this:
1. To make sure when we are blessed with a particular attribute that we will give glory to Him.
2. To make sure we honorably represent Messiah. If being blessed causes us to be puffed up with pride, then that is not good.
These two items above should be one of our two parallel long term goals in life: to honorably represent Messiah and give glory to God.
The other long term goal in our life is to accomplish the great work for which we were created: the thing that is the deep desire within your heart.
In the last newsletter we discussed “Maintaining a Position of Spiritual Power.” One area of hindrance to maintaining a position of spiritual power is FEAR OF SUCCESS. I believe King Saul had a fear of success. The Bible says that Saul was “a choice young man and goodly: and there was not among the children of Israel a goodlier person than he: from his shoulders and upward he was higher than any of the people.” [1 Samuel 9:2]
Not only was Saul taller than any of the other young men, but he was cheerful, kind, joyful, and gracious. We know this from the descriptive Hebrew word “tob” which is translated “goodly” and “goodlier” in the English. He was handsome, healthy, and happy. He had a good start … but a miserable finish!
In the newsletter “Decision, Determination, and Destiny” (the story of Ruth) we learned that Ruth was propelled from poverty to status as a world class influence because of her willingness:
1. To change;
2. To learn; and,
3. To receive.
Fear of success will keep a person from receiving. There are several reasons for this:
1. Mental rejection. For some reason, they don’t want success: A.) Maybe because of the resultant responsibilities; B.) Maybe because success will also come to those around them whom they want to hurt; and, C.) Maybe because they want to punish themselves or those near to them.
2. Fear of failing. This seems contradictory but some people don’t want to succeed because they are afraid they will fail after they achieve success. Therefore, they set up a wall to protect themselves from succeeding … so they won’t have to fail.
3. Low self esteem. Inwardly, they do not feel worthy of success, and subconsciously reject it. They may accept success at the onset; however, over time, a self-defeating mechanism brings destruction and failure.
4. Unresolved sin. They may not realize that forgiveness is available through Christ. Or, they may know that Christ paid for their sins, but psychologically they still afflict punishment on themselves.
5. Demonic oppression. They may be afflicted with a spirit of failure, destruction, or inferiority … and sometimes a lying spirit assigned from the enemy, Satan, to keep them from success.
This is WHY we need to read and meditate the Word of God daily:
1. We need to KNOW what our Father in Heaven wants for us. God wants us healthy, prosperous, successful, holy, and productive!
2. We need to KNOW our spiritual authority in Messiah. In the name of Yeshua ha Meshiach (Jesus the Messiah) we can bind the demons that would try to lie to us and attack us (or lie to and attack others) and we can break their hold PERMANENTLY! [Read and study The Apostles Newsletter titled "The Covering" - June 15, 2003]
God designed you for SUCCESS. If you are IN MESSIAH, God has given you the tools you need TO WIN:
The name of Yeshua (Jesus);
The promises in God’s Word;
The measure of faith;
The ability to pray in tongues (Holy Spirit baptism); and
The ministry of the Holy Angels.
There is NO REASON for you to fail … if you are honorably representing Messiah Yeshua and giving glory to God.
Remember we discussed in a previous newsletter that our exit plan in life should be EQUAL TO OR GREATER THAN our long term goals.
The bigger your long term goal for life, the more the enemy will try to resist you. It only stands to reason. He doesn’t care what or whom he uses: it may be a person (Christian or non-Christian); it may be a relative or someone you don’t know; it may be a friend or an enemy; it may be a demon; it may be a situation; it may be a series of situations to bring you into despondency or depression.
The good news is that you have ALREADY WON! All you have to do is APPROPRIATE YOUR VICTORY through faith. Claim the promises in God’s Word. Take your authority over the enemy and bind him in Jesus’ name, casting him away from hindering you and your associates. Loose – invoke – the ministry of the Holy Spirit into the situation. Commission the Holy Angels to help you … if you don’t know how to do this, then just ask God to send the Holy Angels to help you. At times you may want to fast and listen to God for new instructions.
Whatever you do … don’t quit! If you quit, you can’t win. If you don’t quit, you’ll win!
The bigger the goal(s) … the more patience you’ll need. The scripture says, “Knowing this, that the trying [or, testing] of your faith works [accomplishes] patience.” [James 1:3] Hang in there … you’re going to go through! Just like an athlete, you must learn to pace yourself. Don’t go too slow … don’t go too fast. You can’t make it on your own … your not strong enough to last.
Learn to enjoy the presence of Christ and draw on His strength. His strength is made perfect in your weakness! [2 Corinthians 12:9]
You do NOT have to be afraid of failure … and you do NOT have to be afraid of success. God has designed you for SUCCESS.
For God has NOT given us the spirit of fear; but He has given us the spirit of power, and of love, and of a sound mind and self control.” [2 Timothy 1:7]
